Oh yeah it annoys me so much when people call Miku an anime character and then people pretend to like vocaloid when they only listen to miku and not any of the other amazing vocaloids(my favorites are rin, gumi and I.A
@@yuithekitsuneko Well you can favorite miku and be a fan. The problem is when you claim to be a hardcore fan after learning Ieven polka, popipo, and world is mine. And proceeding to do things like call Teto a vocaloid and say Miku is the first vocaloid.
In the last year of my childhood, Miku Hatsune was born. An idol that will never live but never die. Now, at age 21, the true beginning of adulthood, she turned 10. She and her friends, Vocaloid and UTAU alike, lend their voices to talented people and help make their dreams come true. Everyone who contributes to this community or simply enjoys being in it shares something special. It's kind of dumb to get sentimental over this kind of thing, but we're talking about the creation and celebration of an entire genre of music. It's funny. The emotions that go into the creation of these songs are so raw and human, but computer programs convey them. It's so weird yet comforting to know that there's a whole community of people sharing some of my most heartfelt teenage memories, all across the world. That feeling when your favorite producers drop a new song and people clamor in the comments, speculating and translating and creating covers--there's no band or musical artist on this planet that has that kind of solidarity. "Even if it's called a Sand Planet, we will continue to live here."
this is so true, i found miku around 2012, i was like 7 or 8 at the time and was OBSESSED with her, i listened to all the oldschool songs (ranging from popipo to lynne), after that i found out utau existed, i wanted to create my very own "vocaloid", and here i am now, i love this fandom and its creativity, i'll never get tired of how fun and interesting it is
The one thing I have to thank my ex is for getting me into vocaloid, 4 years and so many hardships Miku and friends have helped me get through...thank you very much for this!
I know that feel way too well, what we get for loving someone huh...my pc is the only relationship I need after that experience and hope you are doing better
I've been with Vocaloids for the last three years, so I'm kind of a late fan, but I enjoyed my time as a Vocaloid fan. Before I had heard anything about Vocaloids, I was already becoming bored of life and I had nothing to enjoy in my free time. When I heard about "Romeo and Cinderella," I listened to it and my life completely changed after that: I knew something I can enjoy everyday, I learned numerous meanings and stories from multiple songs, and I get exposed to the world of Vocaloids and the fandoms, which are amazing (the ones I've seen so far). Although there are a lot of songs I haven't heard yet (even popular ones), I have enjoyed my time as a Vocaloid fan and I will, without any doubt, enjoy all that is offered, given, and created by Vocaloid composers and fans for my entire lifetime. Happy 10th birthday to Hatsune Miku (even though I'm a few days late) and thank you (to anyone) who makes the Vocaloid community thrive. ^_^
This is awesome! I've been part of this community since I was a wee child in Junior high, and here I am, a college graduate. I also was hugely shaped by Vocaloid and the community. Thanks for this awesome nostalgic medley! I love it
I've been in the vocaloid fandom since I was in 6th grade... that would put me at 12. I'm 19 now. Some of these songs, like Rolling Girl, have helped me through so much. The nostalgia is such a wonderful feeling
I like the transition in most of the songs (Like from Dark Woods Circus to Can't I Even Dream and Paradichlorobenzene and Antichlorobenzene to Colorbars) Nice Job on this!
I didn't ask to cry on this beloved Miku day But here I am crying Thank you for this, you included a LOT of my personal favorites. Rare to see Kaoling acknowledged in anything
GHOST and Utsu-P are my favorite producers When i heard Colorbars i just screamed a lot, then you put LIVING GHOST IS ALIVE RIGHT NEXT TO IT I JUST CANT
Thanks for the tadanoco ref. Also putting those samfree and siiamota songs next each other.. 😢 Thanks for your subbing M8 miku has changed all of our lifes
I've been a part of the Vocaloid community for only a year, but it feels like its been forever! My very first song was The Lost One's Weeping (and I'm really happy it was included in this medley) and I absolutly fell in love with Vocaloid. I listen to Vocaloid everyday and I'm just so happy that I can be part of this wonderful community. Thank you to each and every one of the producers and fans that make this community what it is ^_^
Vocaloid is awesome, dammit! Okay community, can we just freaking say that!? Well done. I knew a lot of the songs, and they are all ones I tend to remember fondly. I love that you had both more recent and classic songs on here! Funny story- I was introduced to Vocaloid by the Fine Bros, of all things. Yes, those dumb guys who attempted to copyright the word "React". I discovered Miku from their "Kids React" video on her. I thought the music was catchy and that the effects were cool. It kinda just... Spiralled forward from there. I listened to more music from more producers, listened to more vocaloids, and eventually listened to covers of Vocaloid songs by other Vocaloids. I've seen many producers go. I get sad when that happens. I was really shocked when Siinamota died. ...It didn't help that Satoru Iwata died just a month earlier. Somehow, I kept riding the Vocaloid bandwagon. No matter what happened, I still listened to these wonderful songs these talented people put together. And I wish I could tell them how much I admire them.
I found it the same way... and I'm honestly happy I did because Vocaloid has not only become another one of my many Fandoms.... it has become a stress reliever and also a way to become connected with others.... I listen almost exclusively to Vocaloid nowadays and it has helped me through panic attacks and my suicidal thoughts...... Rolling girl will forever be my favorite song. It was the song that was my gateway back into the Fandom after I had left it for a while between elementary school and middle school. (Yes.. you heard that right... I got into it back in elementary school..)
This is so beautiful and well-composed, I have no idea how long it took you but I'm seriously blown away by the amount of songs and effort you obviously poured into this! Thank you so much!!!
Hmm.... I didn't know 13 songs and I am uncertain on 9 songs if I know them... hmm... well, the good thing about Vocaloid is, it's an endless Maze where it's impossible to know every song featuring them.
Ah I really like this. Thank you for making this - with so many different producers and vocaloids, too! I think I was going to say something about how I knew a majority of these songs or how great the tribute to PowaPowa-P and samfree was but I can't really remember orz
Such a fucking throwback. I will always love Vocaloid and the many songs that were made. I won't ever forget how it made me fall in love with Kagerou Project and many other things. Also thank you for including Kagepro! Many people have forgotten about it and it brings me joy that some still remember it.
I get that this is 2 years old, but I'm very glad you featured Colorbars and Living Ghost is Alive in this, those are a few of my favorite non-Cryptonloid ones!
I remember when I was 9 or 10 and I found out about Vocaloid, I loved it so much and I still do. This medley is really makes me miss those times when all of these producers create new and amazing songs even if some still do now. I still love all these songs even if it has been 9 or 8 years since I first listened to some ;;. And it will always make me sad to see producers that have passed away. But this medley is amazing, thank you for creating something that truly reflects the last 10 years of vocaloid!
you... you... you are just... I don't know what to say I just... thank you... so,so,so much. I have only been in this community for little under a year but VOCALOID has saved my life. I first found Miku in an Akidearest video when I was just getting into anime, I thought "hey, she looks really cool" and listened to her songs for a while. I became addicted and wanted to listen to every song and know all the lyrics and stuff like that (it occurred to me I might want to mention that I'm 11) not long after that some really shitty things started happening to me and I became really suicidal with my friends always having to walk between me and windows. I have a very active imagination and I like to think Miku is always with me either following behind me or sitting next to me. through all of my sadness and pain that I don't really feel like explaining I never felt truly alone because I would think of how Miku is staring at me and wondering "is she okay?". one of the few reasons I didn't kill myself was because I thought "what would Miku think?" which I realize now sounds pretty dumb but at least it worked! knowing that I'm around at the same time as Miku and just around a year older than her makes me infinitely happy and finding this video made almost cry with joy. (good thing nobody's home right?) so, thank you, for being such an amazing and beautiful person! -Kami
Ok I know I've commented a lot now, but this is like watching my life flash before my eyes. All of these songs have held such meaning for me and I can remember details of my life that happened when these different songs came out. Vocaloid has been such a big part of my life and this really brings that to life for me. Gosh I'm so emotional. This is crazy!
I've been a part of this community for 10 years, and can't even begin to explain how much of an impact it has had in my life. As a second year college student, I still feel the same way I did back in middle school when I listened to these songs. This medley was really well done and I want to thank you for all of the time and effort you put into it. Things like this are part of what makes this community so special.
personally I like this one better than other vocaloid medleys, you included more than just miku and piano is soothing. You also have it looking v proffesional
I like how you put Sand Planet as the last song, probably because it's the theme for Magical Mirai 2017 Ah but of course that's not the only thing I liked about this! I didn't know a few of them but it's also because I only discovered Vocaloid a few months ago... But yeah I can't believe you also put Tawagoto Speaker in this! Ahh I love that song :D
GOD DAMN IT What have I done to you ? Why do I deserve the feeling especially in "please give me a red pen" it hit me so hard and that pause. You wanted us to feel it isn't that right ? DAMN ..... I m crying ....... I know there could me a lot of sad song but I didn't expect form ...... Form the ones that are long gone. This video is like the memory of every vocaloid fan with every songs in it **sniff** I m going to go now **sniff** and recall all the memory while rewatching this
Nostalgia! My heart hurts! When fixer came on I started screaming inside, I love that song! I love colorbars, on the rocks, and every song kn this list! I have been in the fandom since I was very, very young. Thank you for making!
This is great! I've been a fan of vocaloid since the original flipnote hatena was around, it's nice to see how far it's come!!!! Plus I wasn't expecting to see GHOST in here???? Great job friend!!
HOLY FUCK THE NOSTALGIA IS CONSUMING ME I can remember being eleven and pressing my cheek to the bus window while Bad End Night blared through my headphones, oh God, I'm getting emotional
Butterfly Taster i felt so much nostalgia. bad end night was actually my first vocaloid song! after that i found world is mine, double lariat, and Magnet from mmd animations. Now i know a lot about vocaloid and its helped me through some tough times.
Kyle Mason Ooh, it's great that we had the same first song! I went after the rest of the night series afterwards and immediately latched on to the Kagamines, leading me to the Evillious Chronicles. I remember just barely grasping onto straws then, and now I can identify a majority of the Vocaloids. For me, Vocaloid is something that I can always come back to, whenever, however.
Oh gosh, 90% of my favorites are from 2011 or earlier! Melt, PoPiPo, Butterfly on Your Right Shoulder, Luka Luka NIght Fever (etc) were my early teenage bread and butter, so to speak. Hearing them after not listening to them for so long fills me with a super warm nostalgia. The later ones that stand out to me are Drop Pop Candy, Echo, Donut Hole, and Ghost Rule.
Started smiling when Happy Synthesizer came as it was my first vocaloid song.... I love this fandom even it can make me pissed because of shipping wars sometimes
Yess Even If I Keep Getting Turned Down and lili.!! They're literally two of the most unknown Vocaloid songs (well partly because they're from 2016) so I'm happy they were included!

bring back so many memories :D I have been listen to vocaloid since 11 yrs now im 18 and vocaloid is still my favorite music. i cant imagine my life without vocaloid. my first songs are kokoro and aku no musume, that make me kagamine fan now lol I almost cry when please give me a red pen comes up Y_Y thanks for this great video :)
OH MY GOD I LOVE YOU THANK YOU FOR INCLUDING POWAPOWA-P I'VE ACTUALLY STARTED TO CRY WHEN "Please give mi a red pen" CAME UP ;____; I've been in vocaloid community for the past 5 years, and since I'm 15, that's a pretty long time. I got to basically grow up with some of the songs from this list, so listening to this was a very sentimental journey for me. Thank you for making this, it's wonderful
I've known about vocaloid for a few years and I've liked them but I haven't been into the fandom and constantly listened to vocaloid songs until recently but I'm hooked
Though I have only been apart of the vocaloid community for as long as others (I've only been in it since September of 2015), and I do not know as many songs as other vocaloid fans, I have heard quite a few of them. I am glad I'm part of this community.

WHY?!
I a bit disagree.. for me, producers and their music is part of vocaloid itself.
Well... I've not been here in the fandom for a long time. I'm new so I don't see myself in this big family
Yet...

Karen 1121 It took them roughly 2 months.
i sang along to practically every song
ミクへの、ボカロへの愛が伝わる動画。好きです。
After hearing this, I feel so old... 9 years following vocaloid... *shed manly tears*
That long pause before powapowap and samfree's songs... it killed me
I missed their work so much
IT WAS YOBANASHI THEN SENBONZAKURA THEN AIMLESS IMITATION THEN WONDERFUL CAT LIFE
I WAS SO HAPPYYYYY
Also, I squealed when Children Record came on :3
ALSO also, self-inflicted achromatic followed by servant of evil :'D
Every couple months I rediscover this video and play it on repeat for like 10 days
I COULDNT FIND IT FOR LIKE 5 MINUTES I WAS WORRIED IT GOT TAKEN DOWN I HAD A HEART ATTACK
I actually wish this was longer, wow I really loved this so much I'm speechless
Hmm.... I didn't know 13 songs and I am uncertain on 9 songs if I know them... hmm... well, the good thing about Vocaloid is, it's an endless Maze where it's impossible to know every song featuring them.
Yes and no. There are too many characters for me.
Ah I really like this. Thank you for making this - with so many different producers and vocaloids, too!
I think I was going to say something about how I knew a majority of these songs or how great the tribute to PowaPowa-P and samfree was but I can't really remember orz
This gave me an existential crisis tbh
I can't believe Melt came out in 2007 I'm feel like i'm 70 lmao
This is really well done
Such a fucking throwback. I will always love Vocaloid and the many songs that were made. I won't ever forget how it made me fall in love with Kagerou Project and many other things. Also thank you for including Kagepro! Many people have forgotten about it and it brings me joy that some still remember it.
This is so amazing and nostalgic! I'm really glad you're back!
I get that this is 2 years old, but I'm very glad you featured Colorbars and Living Ghost is Alive in this, those are a few of my favorite non-Cryptonloid ones!
I like how it goes from the dissapearence of hatsune miku to the real dissaperence of hatusne miku
GHOST RULE
Edit: COLORBARS IS MY FAVOURITE SONG THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR USING IT IN HERE I'M SO HAPPY
Dude, this is fucking awesome!
This is so great, you're extremely talented!
I'm so glad you got it done in time!!! I was nervous you wouldn't.
**hears Secrets Of Wisteria**
*screams and throws phone out the window*
you... you... you are just... -Kami
Kami Sama - I'm glad you're doing better! It's great that vocaloid helped you out of such a dark time in your life.
SCool Bean Thank you!!! I listened to the song and I do enjoy it.
this brings back so many memories, I haven't been in the fandom for many years but I feel like I've been here from the start...
Amazing. I cannot express how much this hit me in the feels. I love vocaloid with all my heart. Thank you, this is truly amazing.
Ugh I would love a full version of even if I get turned down! This is made very well!
This is awesome. Thx so much for making this.
even GHOST is here

The transition between aishite aishite aishite and circus monster was lovely
I like how you put Sand Planet as the last song, probably because it's the theme for Magical Mirai 2017
Ah but of course that's not the only thing I liked about this!
I didn't know a few of them but it's also because I only discovered Vocaloid a few months ago...
But yeah I can't believe you also put Tawagoto Speaker in this! Ahh I love that song :D
GOD DAMN IT
What have I done to you ?

Bean ghost is my favourite
HOLY FUCK THE NOSTALGIA IS CONSUMING ME
I can remember being eleven and pressing my cheek to the bus window while Bad End Night blared through my headphones, oh God, I'm getting emotional
Butterfly Taster
i felt so much nostalgia.
bad end night was actually my first vocaloid song! after that i found world is mine, double lariat, and Magnet from mmd animations.
Now i know a lot about vocaloid and its helped me through some tough times.
Kyle Mason
Ooh, it's great that we had the same first song!
I got so happy any time a Kagepro song played.
PieLover 101 [LPS0129] same! But I screamed when I heard colorbars! I love ghost
12:00
"That sounded a bit like Lost Ones Weeping..." me, disappointed
Three Seconds later: YEAAAHHH
Wow, I am speechless! This amazing!!
Oh god I've been here for ~9 years. Ahhhhh i don't think I'm leaving though, i like everyone here too much ;^;
Started smiling when Happy Synthesizer came as it was my first vocaloid song.... I love this fandom even it can make me pissed because of shipping wars sometimes
Yess Even If I Keep Getting Turned Down and lili.!! They're literally two of the most unknown Vocaloid songs (well partly because they're from 2016) so I'm happy they were included!
Wow, I love this. This is so beautiful!!!
自傷無色 and ikanaide get me the most
nicely done
I can't believe you have covered the majority of all my favourite songs!!!! Even the lesser popular ones!! *-* Love it!!!!!!
When you see "please give me a red pen" "equation X" and "girl A" you start missing powapowa-p more.... 😢
Well i'm actually just joined this fandom a year ago so i dont know most of these
EfraimMMX - That's okay! Maybe you could pick a few of your favorites out of this and start there? And welcome to the community! :3
This is more like VOCALOID ANNIVERSARY since there are songs from all vocaloids not only miku.
Josh B39 No. Some Vocaloids (Meiko, KAITO, sweet Ann, etc) came out before Miku.

I'VE ACTUALLY STARTED TO CRY WHEN "Please give mi a red pen" CAME UP ;____;
I've been in vocaloid community for the past 5 years, and since I'm 15, that's a pretty long time. I got to basically grow up with some of the songs from this list, so listening to this was a very sentimental journey for me. Thank you for making this, it's wonderful
This is REALLY well done! Great job, dude!!
p.s. Thanks for adding Cantarella omg
May I make my own arrange of this? It's so beautiful!
I've known about vocaloid for a few years and I've liked them but I haven't been into the fandom and constantly listened to vocaloid songs until recently but I'm hooked
Brings back so much memories.
ここで出会って好きになったロジカルシーカーはもう聞けないのか…また聴きたいなあ…
5 years of the vocaloid fandom. 10 years of Miku. She's been around since I was 5.
One day, I want to play just like you.
Though I have only been apart of the vocaloid community for as long as others (I've only been in it since September of 2015), and I do not know as many songs as other vocaloid fans, I have heard quite a few of them. I am glad I'm part of this community.
