      Its actually 364.75 because every year we get a 0.25 a year so yeah there's some science

    • @madikin
      @madikin 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Leafyisnot here actually, every year is not 365 days exactly, but every year it is 365.25 days, because a year is one full rotation of the earth, and a full rotation is not exactly 365 days. So to make up for the calendars missed time, every four years (0.25 x 4 is 1) we have a leap day, which in case you don't know is where we get an extra day in February. This year was a leap year. So I'm not sure if that was what you were trying to say, but if not you were kinda off a bit.

    I had a whiplash injury that went undiagnosed as kid and then o staryed suffering from bad headaches and also migraines. Then I started trying to self adjust (without knowing it). I really made things worse by doing that... both in my neck and my SI joints.
    For the doubters, chiropractic adjustments do provide me with relief but I also feel like it is best used with a total rehab that includes massage and strengthening exercises / therapy.
    That has been my personal experience.

    Most people can't afford to see a chiropractor often. Cheapest place near me is 140$ for the first visit and then $70 for each after that. If it was more affordable more people might be able to feel better and my insurance doesn't cover it.

    • @truthteller4442
      @truthteller4442 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Amber Hayes You should switch insurance. Honestly, it’s well worth it. Or try to negotiate the price down with a chiropractor.
      Many will work with you if they know you’ll give them the business, and then you just pay them so much per month.

      ***** Painkillers only treat the pain, not the source of the pain itself. Usually, some glucosamine sulfate is prescribed along with the painkillers.

    • @kami12kaze87
      @kami12kaze87 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Glucosamine Sulfate helps with your joints by making the cartilage at the intersection stronger. Will it alone help? Probably, but a more holistic approach is still better. Use a combination of nutritional supplements, medicines and therapy to get back in shape. Good luck to you Alucard.

    Mine lasts for several months. I've been seeing a chiropractor since my 20s, when upon waking one day I felt something "shift" in my neck and was in severe pain to the point of not being able to hold my head up straight. My grandmother convinced me to see her chiropractor, and after 1 adjustment I felt immediate relief. I went a 2nd day in a row and could hold my head up straight again. Whereas many people "pop" their own necks or backs when they feel stiff/pain, I can't do it myself.

    This is a great example of Tui Na.
    It's not always an easy fix in the sense that it only has one movement necessary to make a click...
    My back was out to the point of my spine appearing to be straight like | when spines should normally be curved to show good posture. My posture was horrible and it was uncomfortable to forcibly perform, as Jeff says. My instructor for martial arts who practices Tui Na went into my ribs and sequentially replaced them-- that is to say he freed them from the restrictive binds and they went back into proper place on their own.
    Due to bad habits that the body creates in its guardian mode to have previously protected me from pain, this had to happen a few times. The rest was like giving life to a dead spider, he's been stretching my vertebrae through interlocked arms and sees progress in that alone, while we find out that my neck, lower back, and shoulders were each also affected by the issue. A plus is that I developed muscles in strange places compared to normal people, and my nerves are hard to find in my upper body. I don't have crazy pecs or anything but below my zyphoid process (where the problem lied-- I'd do curls and most my life would have death pain crushing the center of my chest) I have strong muscles that I used to still be able to carry things (at the cost of breathing with crushed lungs). Later, he found that one of my legs was longer than the other. This was causing every step on that side to collapse my hips and chest together, which would have caused a limp in later life.
    Now, I'm sure I could have lived without this treatment, and skeptics please be wary of shelfing minor issues like these. Because decades later the issue would come again at full force and while the choice is the same, the work done will be more, and your body will be less capable of healing itself as quickly. Just googling Tui Na though, you find out it's widely accepted as traditionally great for youth and elderly in particular, so who knows! I hope to learn this practice through my martial arts and see what people truly are capable of, recovery-wise, first-hand.

My mom has been having problems with her back and I told her that I’ve been watching chiropractor videos and learning a lot of new things,she let me pop her back and she said that I did a great job! 😁 thank you so much for posting! my brother in law is an MD. he goes to the chiropractor along with his whole family. the benefits are pain relief and "help" of the CNS due to better posture. chiropractics has benefits. hard to say otherwise when the results are tested over and over. the only results that are "hooplah" is the whole, helps your organs talk. but as for the spine goes. its perfect.

      Just like any doctor, there are some with good technique and bad...And some people respond to certain treatments better than others. Go see a more respected Chiro, and he can properly work up why you feel pins and needles, I could probably diagnose it from the other side of the computer screen just knowing what exactly your symptoms are and where your feeling them.

    Glad to see that Dr. Light found a new job after Megaman destroyed Dr. Wily's robots and put him out of business.
    Although I'm sure he is as enthusiastic as appears about adjusting spines as he does in this this video, I'm also very that sure if Capcom gets it's act together and makes a new game, he will do everything he can to help Megaman defeat whatever Dr. Wily comes up with next.

    Don't get this done guys, it could lead to strokes if you have any pre-existing nerve problems. A Dr or physical therapist would never do this to you.

      Yes, I have done research and have a condition where I've tried physical therapy, chiropractic, and other procedures. Don't tell me I'm not educated in the subject. If people google what I posted, there are numerous studies and articles on the subject. People can believe what they want to but I atleast want to refer to them to other sources to become more educated. Sounds like you may have a monetary cause to defend this discipline.

      reemaskain Lol bro I put in Palmer and Florida in google, and the first thing that comes up is the Palmer College of Chiropractic. Not sure if they're related but coincidence.

    • @reemaskain5096
      @reemaskain5096 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      palmer florida Oh don't worry buddy, I've read plenty of scholarly articles. A youtube forum is hardly the place to debate about the complex stats and details of this subject. These numbers you present don't correlate to being facts. Medicine and Science and constantly changing, nothing is a fact. All I am saying is that this is a valid concern in the medical community and it is my opinion not to get it done. Publications such as the NY Times, and websites such as WebMD have articles on this. It may be rare, but it is still a possibility. I encourage people to read these articles first, consult your doctor if you have concerns, and if you feel it's safe for you, go for it.

    • @reemaskain5096
      @reemaskain5096 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are literally a thousand articles on stroke and spinal adjustments, as well a a few youtube videos. It's better for them to check this out first and let them form their own opinion rather than them have a "oh shit" moment after they've had a few dozen chiro adjustments and realize there is a risk of stroke attached to it. It's rare your going to be on a plane that crashes, but doesn't mean it's not a risk. Anyway, I've said my piece and done with the convo. Guess you'll reply one more time questioning my knowledge on the field and saying my points have no merit Good luck with that.

    • @jcase86
      @jcase86 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      reemaskain " it could lead to strokes if you have any pre-existing nerve problems." You sir are ignorant.. You obviously have no clue what causes a stroke. Most definitely nothing to do with "pre-existing nerve problems" or anything else involving nerves. You would know this if you were at all educated or even simpler if you would just google it! Yes, google! There are two main types of strokes, which I won't go into because you can do the research yourself if you think you're capable. They involve the blood vessels.. NOT nerves!!
