Hello again, I can’t believe of all the tutorials that I have watched, you are the only one that has shown this particular way of decopauge,it’s brilliant, I thank you, from a fellow Aussie too, regards pamela hall.
Thank you so much. It’s a technique I’ve developed myself and I’m trying to show as many people as I can as some people often have issues with decoupage
Hello Vonnie, I really appreciate you pointing out all these seemingly little, but very important details in working with decoupage paper and showing us how you do it. Huge help. Thank you.
Beautiful!! Perfect colors for the paper and it just came out very pleasing. You make great videos as well from the narrative to the music and the images… entertaining and educational 👍🏼
I love everything about this piece except my taste would not have been the kind of white distressed on this piece I would have left it out but oh my word I love the colors and the blending it’s just gorgeous!
I love the way you put that paper on!!! As for the spray sealer, is it just a light mist, how does it not drip? I have never used a spray sealer or spray paint for that matter 😅 so don't have a clue how they work...soooooooo glad to have found your page, I have learned so much just from this one video, can't wait to watch more!!!
By any chance do you know what sort of wood this piece is made of pls? I’m asking cos I’ve got the same buffet, except mine has a mirror at the back. I’ve also got a dining table and chairs that match, but I’m not sure what sort of wood it is?
I would love to use several decoupage papers by Mint by Michelle but they are too expensive for me. I'm disabled with MS and a single mom not receiving child support because my ex husband is a deadbeat so I'm on a limited budget. Is there a way people in the states can afford to buy these papers or are they only for Australians and wealthier people? I'm an artist and have been all my life and I don't think Michelle cares about the little people like me. I'm trying my best to make beautiful, quality pieces for other people like me that otherwise couldn't afford this type of furniture as a way to compensate for lack of money to raise my teenage daughter and not afraid to admit I'm very talented so it's not as if I don't deserve to have access to these products. Why are they so expensive? I can buy five or six papers from other sellers for the price of one Mint by Michelle paper.
@@VonBooFurnitureDesigns I don't know why I didn't think of that. I assumed they would pass the cost onto the customer. Can you recommend a stockist? I haven't seen Mint products anywhere near me.

I am so glad you’ve enjoyed this. In regards to the spray I only spray a fine mist before I paint and then after as a final seal.

I feel it’s an oak. Perhaps Tasmanian oak
Hi, is it possible you could show me a picture of the polyurethane that you use to glue the paper please?
I’ve used a variety of topcoats. At the moment I’m using Pureco Satin. I’ll get a pic
@@VonBooFurnitureDesigns thank you, that would be lovely. I am in the UK, so will try to get some similar to your product. 🤗
Where can I buy the big tin of salt wash please??
You will have to go online and find a stockist near you
Hi Von
What putty did you use on this?
I can’t recall the brand but I call it builders bog. It’s the paste you add a hardener to and it sets in around 15min. Available at hardware stores.

Have you checked with stockists in the USA

Depends where you are sweetheart. On the website there are a list of stockists www.mintbymichelle.com
@@VonBooFurnitureDesigns I'm in little old South Carolina. Thank you so much.
@@VonBooFurnitureDesigns website says "Sorry, we didn't find any stockists nearby." But that's okay, i'll find one not nearby.
