    Your supply runs are remarkably similar to mine. Having water at your plot is a blessing. We don't have that. I'm pumping water with a solar panel and electric pump and have a 400 liter gravity based, rainwater filled system.

    Jessie when doing carrots use a 10 inch bucket cut a plastic siever bottom out put your seeds in flour you need a match and a top with water in it. put the plastic on top of the compost use the match to pick up the seeds.put one seed every 2 spaces all the way down and you will never get the carrot fly as there is no where for them to go,they cant reach the roots,i use this way every year and never had carrot fly invade the carrots.i guarantee you Success.

    Excited to watch ‘107’ episode….have watched up to number 50 from the ‘past’!!!… so now am at the ‘sharp’ end again!!… have begun my re adventure with growing stuff!!!…great 👍👍(Sue Bham the Watercress Woman!)…watercress is on the go 😃😃…bought 6 tomato plants…plus leeks, sugar snap peas,geranium plugs…and more things too…. Anyway… Sorry your Mom is not too good…hope to see her back next time..,love the extension of the flower bed… very artistic with the edging bricks 👌…and the new protective mesh cover good job… who needs a saw bench when you have a green plastic garden chair!!!… so resourceful…respect👍👍….gorgeous asparagus…. So jealous of that…mouthwatering at the thought of it ( don’t have room …my soil is heavy clay here.. so everything in large pots and long plastic troughs… quite a challenge… but have worked it out so that I can grow quite few things… including runner beans 👍👍)… I also have loads of wild strawberry plants as well as the ‘ordinary kind..,’. Love them!!…Are you going to remove that wasp nest??…please say you’re not leaving it there 😱😱…the allotment looks very healthy…and with so many wonderful self seeded things…you might not need to sow much else…?!…Isn’t Mother Nature marvellous… and a bit irritating too..if you don’t want a million poppies 🥺😵‍💫….pencil sharpening skills .. very good, I see😆…Baby broad beans..love your motherly joy at see the little new born ones…don’t tell them what comes next though… yum 👌👌…You will catch up with the sowing even though you feel a bit pannicky now.., you’ve even got some self seeded tree cabbage..which is a bonus?!…sad to see the crispy fried ‘everything’ from the greenhouse …such is life …and British weather..still Tomatoes and other goodies will fill the spaces soon. I think you did a good amount this week… and we all enjoy your chats with ‘US’… and those humourus ponderings about life and decisions … The ‘girlies did you proud with 3 eggs👏👏…love their little feathered socks!!!…here’s to you Jessie, with my very own Co op

      I started doing a few of them back last year but they've kind of dropped off. Its a bit much doing two videos a week for me!

    That wasps nest is beautiful, wonder if it's been abandoned already. I'd keep it as an ornament, but then again I'm a weirdo.
    It's a shame those poppies weren't up at the pond border you've just made bigger. Typical they'd take root by the chicken house!

    Hi Jess, good job on the edging, it looks really lovely ❤️ I saw you last night taking part in Tony Smith live streaming, although, i had forgotten it was on so only watched the last 10 mins. I would like to ask how you cook the radishes, you were explaining to the other Guy how much milder they taste when oven baked. What size wood and screws did you use to make your frame. I would like to make one as its brilliant and easy to just pop on and take off when needed. All your plants are looking really good thanks for sharing and take care 🙂

    • @JessieatPlot37
      @JessieatPlot37  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Christine!
      The radishes just go in the oven with a bit of olive oil and salt... absolutely delish! 19x38 roofing battons and 32 screws i believe!

    Yeah, keep sowing, planting and sowing seeds....don't concern yourself with too many social engagements just now....we are in a dark place and we all need to act like ants...keep growing, saving, storing and learning skills.

    Squash those bugs! They kill my squash every year. Chickens love grasshoppers and other bugs I find. This week they’ve been finding a dead mouse in their water to fight over almost every day so that tells me the snake that hangs out by the chicken coup will be around as soon as it’s warmer. Do you get pests around your chickens?

      Mice and snakes! Your chickens have a much more exciting time than mine! :D

    Have your chickens got mites or are they moulting ? because they have no feathers on their heads.
    Try spaghetti squash it’s lovely with melted butter 👌🏻
    You will have to learn to drive then you will have freedom to come and go especially as your mum is not to nimble lately.
    Hope she gets better soon I have degenerative disc disease so I know how back pain can run you down and make your body feel like you have no energy.

      @JessieatPlot37  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Julie, they are just coming back from a moult.
      I'm really not a fan of spaghetti squash and don't need to drive to get to the plot. Its just the delivery of bricks!
