Thank you. You explained strumming so clearly compared to other guitarists.
Most welcome!
I wish more guitar players would watch your instructional videos before they release their own videos on Y.T. I see way too many, so called professional players, over-strum their guitars; it's like they're stuck in the 80s, playing 'Heavy Metal' crap. I've always cringed at the way so many guitar players strum by swinging their who arm.
It's nice to see someone as disciplined as you. Keep up the great work! Less is more!
Thanks for the comment and for your enthusiasm :) Wide strumming is a thing for performance.. but not very efficient overall
Excellent explanation of the wrist/forearm connection. As someone who has strumming and picking problems I’m hoping this will help. Thanks
I really hope it does... Thank you!
Thank you for the detail of explaining the subject matter . I know Jimmy Buffett. Strummed. By the wrist . It was very obvious !
You're welcome. It's a must :)
Thank you for the fantastic explanation.❤👍
You're welcome... Put it into practice!
Great camera angle for showing the rotation🎥🎥🎥
Thanks! Glad it helps :)
This is just the video I needed... My strumming sounded like a hammer having a bad day. This technique feels relaxed and natural, thank you. Liked and subscribed.
Lol.. nice description.. glad it helped you past it... And thanks for the sub!
Great technique for strumming. Great help. Thanks.
You're welcome!
good video
Thank you!
Excellent!!🎉🎉🎉
Thank you!
Very interesting! I've exploring the RH for the last number of months. This is the second clip I've found where strumming is a rotational movement. The other clip described it as turning a doorknob.
Yes, its really gives you so much more when you get used to it :)
Thank you 😀
You're welcome :D
Thanks that was a great lesson. I found it very useful. I had noticed that rotational movement is a key aspect of the right hand but was looking for a good exercise to add to my technique drills. This is exactly what I was looking for😃 I wonder if you might get more views of this if the word rotating preceded wrist?
It's an important technique for sure! Glad it's helping you..
I'll try your suggestion :)
Kind of funny how I did this motion naturally but then was like "should yourr wrist turn like that???", being concerned about the possibility of wrist-pain. Turns out this Motion is normal, even though it can look really awkward when watching from angles like from the head or even from normal POV. Great video though. Cleared that misconception up for me
Yess.. im glad it helped... Go forth!
Where is pt 1?
