I bought it a year ago, I was so hyped because I wanted to get it since the first time I saw the trailer but after three months of playtime I gave it up, for 2 reasons, there was basically nobody playing the game, and if there was someone it was only speed-hackers. I was really bummed out because I loved the game and loved every second of playing it but the lack of normal players was an issue, maybe someday it will pick up again, but I doubt it.
First time seeing titan fall 1 game play and it looks great. It always amazes me how the first game of any series always looks so much more raw and violent lol. I haven’t been able to play T2 for a week now due to the Ddos….
titanfall succumbed to a severe case of content drought. not enough guns, maps, perks, good game modes or Titans. by the end of the games life cycle, all you could play was attrition, and all the good players used were smart pistols. it sure didn't help there wasn't a single player. lots of the maps didn't take full advantage of the movement mechanic I'm pretty sure that's all been said before, but that's why it died. it's why lots of good polished games from AAA devs are dying so quick battlefront evolve killing floor 2 battlefield hard-line not enough content to keep the player going
it's a thing of the times. On one hand, we're getting really polished games. Of all the major AAA titles in 2015, I think fallout 4 was the only one with significant bugs on release, and those were fixed rather quickly. Lots of pretty games, lots of well optimized games. Been playing a lot of rainbow six siege and battlefront recently on a laptop. Both run beautifully with a high frame rate. metal gear solid V runs great hell, I played COD BLOPS 3 on a playstation and that looks good at 1080p and runs 60 fps. on the other hand, think how disappointed people were by the content of certain games this year witcher 3 had lackluster game play, with repetitive combat and tons of pick ups and collectibles padding the hours. metal gear's story was hot fucking garbage battlefront and rainbow six both have a deficit of content fallout 4's engine is so last gen For myself and a lot of people, 2015's been a big disappointment, and the performance and reception of titanfall, in hindsight, seemed to of been a herald of things to come.

wow, the ass hurt is showing. If you can play mgsV and then play the previous metal gear games, but still think mgsV had a good story, you're wrong. An entire act cut off, loose ends, most of big boss's dialouge cut. it was a mess. witcher 3 had a weak combat system. dark souls games are rpgs with good combat systems, pillars of eternity has a good combat system, divinity: original sin had a fantastic system. but witcher 3's combat system feels like a dumbed down souls game. I even went back and played witcher 2, and I don't know why, I enjoyed it more than witcher 3.

Call of Duty's engine is (unrecognizably) derived from Quake 3, although none of it's code remains to this day. They technically do share a common ancestor in Quake 1, although at this point they could hardly be more different.

with this version of source engine they have their own ui called "respawn gui" instead of valve gui which valve used for the old server browser and settings menu but with respawn gui they use it for everything including the HUD. they also made the game have a different rendering backend in apex along with different mechanics mostly handled by a scripting system called "squirrel" which is like how Garry's Mod has LUA

Titanfall 1 has been pulled from storefronts. It is now only possible to play it by getting a Deluxe Edition or Standard+Season Pass cd keys (otherwise free DLCs are not available!). The servers on PC are hit or miss in terms of their status, mostly missing a hit. The servers on both Xbox consoles are 100% working properly and the servers on Xbox One have a healthy player base. Come and play it on xbox with us 2023!!!!❤️👍😉
Holy crap this looks so incredibly awesome! I didn't play Titanfall which I have Titanfall 2 and I'm no expert but this to me looks a lot better than Titanfall 2. It feels a lot more immersive and like there's actually a full scale war going on from what I'm seeing instead of it feeling like a multiplayer combat arena. Do you have Titanfall 2 and if so how would you compare it to the first game?
I don't have nearly as many hours in 2 as 1, but so far: I think titanfall 2 is still plenty impressive. The map design is worse, and the focus has really shifted to titan combat.
Well to be fair 2 hasn't been out that long so if you sunk a lot of hours into the first game it might take awhile to surpass your playtime with this game. I've heard the map design isn't as good as the first game but I haven't really found anything wrong with the maps I have played on so far. Titan combat though I'm just not a fan of and prefer to be pilot mostly because I currently suck at Titan combat against other players. I'm still learning though and I'll get better with time I'm sure.
ShadowWarrior242 certain titans handle pilots better than others. legion's chain gun eats players and ions laser shot is perfect counter. i feel like scorch and north star struggle for good player counters while you have to be ACCURATE with tone. anyways, canal and boomtown are too similair, homestead sucks. the map flow has changed and there isnt as much interior action as older games

I play a lot of counter strike, so I know that sometimes if a map and mode and guns are good enough, you can play 600 hours of dust 2 across 3 games. but titanfall guns are boring and theres not much variety, and all the good players just use the smart pistol and parkour any how. the Titans lacked variety, the extra modes weren't any fun either, almost everyone played attrition. also releasing all the dlc for free was aggravating for people like me who bought the map pack it's a fun game with lots of problems, primarily being content related that the community abandonded. this has effected killing floor 2, bf hard-line, and evolve, while vermintide and battlefront might be the next victims.
yeah Durndal runtime.1707 I can def see how you could clock in 70 hrs on this game. The graphics are phenomenal, the machine fighting looks great, like you said i dont know much about the game the mechanics look like they were spot on. But Boredom does strike without variety. Game Dev don't understand that being overpowered makes a great game. That means your enemy is overpowered so you will have to be smarter, diverting and dodging overpowered enemies, while being overpowered is the complete gaming exp. Something the Game industry lacks, Video games are starting to try to intimate life to much, when we started playing videos games it was our escape away from our own lives but, by going outter space and seeing weird looking alien species, who spoke different languages.(speaking about Star Wars Knights of the old Republic) The games are getting to close to what i really live.
