Good review. I feel that the Doscincos are even better than you’re giving them credit for. They have among the best bass you can buy. I have many excellent basshead sets: Scarlet Mini, Bravado mkII, OH10, Legato and others. Also have the LCD X 2021 headphones. The bass on them is outstanding. The Doscincos have the best bass of the iems I mentioned. Something they did with the dual isobaric DD’s are magic. There is a club like thump to them. I will say that the cable isn’t the best. It’s a bit boomy. I replaced it with a $20 Open Heart cable and the bass and everything tightened up and has a crisper sound. Basically I’m in love and it’s hard to get them out of my ears. The treble is not as veiled as you say. I find the tuning perfect for my basshead needs. Glad they’re getting more exposure. It’s sister iem, Cincotres, will give you a bit more at 3k and a little less mid bass. I find the Doscincos are better for for me.
@moonsofjupiter Do you think Doscinco would be a good upgrade from Ikko OH10 if I enjoy the bass of the later but find the treble a bit fatiguing? (especially for metal and post-punk)

@@kool_thing probably the perfect upgrade for you. Get either Dunu SS or Azla Sednafit tips as the ones that come with them aren’t great.
@@moonsofjupiter Thank you, really appreciate it!
Hey are these really better then scarlet minis ?
NIce review. Thank you for the comparisons to the Hype 2 and the Hype 4.
Glad you liked it!
Hype 4 IS an amazing IEM. Doscinco, will please any who get it. The Hype 4 is good enough to be many people's end game.
What DAC do you recommend for these if you have an iPhone excluding the standard 3.5mm Apple dongle? :)
Depends on your budget
Which one would be best for someone who likes the sound of KZ ZSX doscinco or hype 4
If you like bass - Hype 4. If you love bass - Doscinco. Hope this helps!
Do you prefer these or the Arete ? im looking for less treble and more bass
Haven’t heard the Arete so I can’t compare.
what are yout top 3 iems under $300 ? thanks
That’s a hard question, as I like way too many IEMs under $300 :)
