There’s a reactor I sometimes watch who commented that people complain because he never talks much about JungKook. He said that he realized that the reason is because JK is always so good, so consistently good, from singing at the center, to doing ad libs and background vocals for the vocal line and the rap line, and dancing so well that, in a way, he doesn’t stand out because he does everything so perfectly every time and we’ve gotten used to that. It would be noticeable if he messed up (or wasn’t doing ad libs or backup vocals), but JungKook never messes up. I do notice his exquisite vocals but his voice supports everyone else too so he’s everywhere. He makes everyone else shine brighter. I hope you know what I mean.
Yeah i get that too. I rarely see reactors comment on him because he's always so good. And i get that.
You must be referring to our one and the only DJ Jino, right? The best reactor on the whole of Internet, hands down. And he is right, unfortunately, people usually brush JK under the carpet, because they are like " he is always good, he always delivers, he never messes up, he is always 150% on, so whats new, why to even bother to comment "? He is so ridiculously gifted, consistent and stable that it goes to the point he becomes almost invisible. He blends in so flawlessly and enhances overall architecture of their songs so well that people do not even realize he is always there - ALWAYS. Although I understand logic behind such reasoning, it breaks my heart, because that directly implies that he is being taken for granted.
And you know what ? I used to be one of those ignorant fools too, I too was overlooking him in the very beginning of my journey with Bangtan, and intentionally so, silly and ignorant right, I know, because I fell into the same trap of looking at him through a lens they managed to create around him - Golden Maknae that can do it all, the youngest, pampered and over hyped. I am ashamed to even admit to that today. Luckily, one single viewing of his "If you" performance in The Singer changed all of my preconceptions about the guy in one big clean sweep ( I was ultimately shell shocked when I heard him there, couldn´t comprehend how ridiculously great he was) and from that point on my appreciation, love and mad amount of respect for him as an artist has been steadily growing and growing and growing and every opportunity I get I never shup up about praising him because THE GUY DESERVES IT.
Terrible take. You wanted to "praise" him in that way or you purposely give him a backhanded compliment?? What do you mean he doesn't stand out when every vocalist in BTS has unique and distinct voice and technique? What do you mean he serves only to make everyone else shine brighter??? His purpose and position isn't to support or to "make everyone shine brighter" he's shining bright on his own like all the other members, he's unique in his own way and he's an incredible artist. Seems like it's a "you" problem that you don't want notice him because I can assure you so many people love and praise him. Damn he's one of the best vocalists in the industry and the amount of praise he's getting from other singers, producers, vocal coaches and other professionals is huge. He's one of the most talented and hardworking musicians so why are you straight up downplaying him? Yoongi even said that he's the most talented person he's ever seen in the industry and members talked so many times how incredible he is. If you can only give him such backhanded compliments than you better shut up and never speak on him again

Like you basically admitted you were his anti, that you were INTENTIONALLY overlooking him and he was invisible for you. Like what did he ever do to you that you hate him like that?? Like he was just a shy talented kid who loved singing and worked hard to became an artist that he is today. He was never downplaying anyone, he never puts himself on a pedestal above everyone else. So why do you hate him? It's not like he called himself Golden Maknae and then went around bragging about himself. It's Namjoon who called him Golden Maknae and it's BigHit who chose him as the main vocalist clearly because of his talent and his technique, it's the members who are praise him, cheer for him and sometimes even ask him advice (you can see it in official documentaries and Jimin Weverse magazine article). And Jungkook always been open about how nickname "golden maknae" is a huge a pressure for him and how he's struggling under this pressure and expectations, how he's not feeling like he's deserving this nickname, how he's not sure about his worth. There's so much more to him as an artist and as a person. But after all of this you still want to portray him as somehow arrogant, privileged and overhyped??? Where?? Learn how to respect Jungkook, learn how to respect and appreciate every member without leaving anyone out. Other members don't need to be your bias for you to talk respectfully about them

So I am starting to realize that your brand of humor is 'chaos', like you really let out a belly laugh at some chaotic random vibes. BTS is a tornado of chaos. When JK sings in The Truth Untold, I honestly cry. He brings so much emotional into the song and I feel it every time. One of my fav vocal line songs for sure!
The vocal line is amazing. They are all great. Jimin has a very unique tone that I think makes his voice the easiest to recognize or pick out, at least it was for me at the start. Now I can quickly recognize each of their voices but initially Jimin really stood out to me. Maybe that's why he is my bias but I think every other member has bias wrecked me at some point. 💜 Oh, and Jimin and Jin are two of the funniest members in general but together they are an incredibly entertaining duo.

@@eleniminas7742 the price they all paid was high. They had to attend school, then doing homework and then training, training, training until deep at night. They didn´t get enough sleep for years. Kookie told once that they sometimes went to the bathroom and tried to sleep there for some minutes. They had not a normal youth as we had, no fun with friends, no girl-or boyfriends, only work, work, work. That is extremly hard for such young people. You have to be a fighter to get through this.

truth untold has like 3 to 4 variations where they sing each other's lines due to various reasons.
sometimes V doing JK's adlibs or jimin's lines, sometimes jimin doing extra high notes, etc
its amazing how they compliment each other during the tour and sing for each other when anyone is struggling with their health due to how much hard work they have to go through all at once.
The scatting was JK, lol. The vocal line never disappoints with their songs and vocals. I am loving seeing how much you are loving our boys, thank you 💜💜💜

You are so right. I am 69yr old nurse still working because of covid. I got hooked on BTS during the dynamite time. BTS came to me when I needed something to help me deal with this stressful time. I watch at least an hour of them to help me sleep after a 12hr night shift at the hospital. Your reaction channel is the best one I have seen. Your tired face is my tired face. Keep up the good work.

The Truth Untold is still one of my favourites. The vocal line kills it and the story is so heartbreakingly beautiful. And yes, Steve Aoki produced it. Such a departure from what I know of Steve Aoki but he did an amazing job

Rogue Roscoe does not disappoint
There are so many sounds and arrangements that BTS have only done once or twice and I'd love for them to go back and do more of certain things (like scatting, JK rapping, etc.), but one of the things I love about them is that every time they release a new album it sounds different than anything they've ever done before. There are some artists who are fantastic singers but their sound never changes; so boring.
You'll never make it through Run!BTS if you laugh like that at a Bangtan Bomb (which are just short snippets of them behind the scenes at photoshoots, interviews, and performances).
I’ll do this in parts:
1. House of cards is one of my favorites!! I love the jazzy vibe, but I sometimes wonder how many Army babies are running around in the world because of this song. This song is such a baby making song, I could totally see it being part of a Fifty Shades of Grey OST. 😏
2. The Truth Untold is beautiful, but it’s so sad, I always remember the Brazilian concert, when Jimin was sick, couldn’t sing all of his parts, he just starts crying and holds his mic so the very eager Brazilian Army could sing his part. It was so beautiful but heart breaking at the same time.
3. Oh, Roscoe, buckle up, that short BTS Bomb is just a tiny taste of how silly, funny and goofy the boys are. Wait until you see Jin with the maknae line. They’re just hilarious 😆.
Last but not least: YAY for mom becoming baby Army!!! Woot Woot! 💜

I wish more people would be open minded to give other people (in general, and not just BTS) a chance! These two songs always hit the feels for me, love their voices...I am a huge Jazz fan and House of Cards always changes the vibe in a good way. Love all my boys 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
There are times that I go “Man JK’s voice is too young and he doesn’t have enough life experiences to give this song emotional heft.” Then songs like this prove me damn wrong. It’s crazy how he sounds young one second then he hits a certain note and my heart is just in pieces. Roscoe, this man is only 25 years old and can do pretty much anything. Theoretically he’s barely even peaked. All of them haven’t reached their creative and artistic peak. Imagine if the western music and entertainment industry would deem them as peers rather than fringe successes from a foreign land in the East (side eye Scammies, Brits and you too, Snoop) instead of clout and ratings bait. They’re shattering expectations and never ending glass ceilings already with all these resistance. We are only seeing the tip of the iceberg on their impact on the industry and pop culture history.

@@cjnottoday397 JK's birthdate was September 1, 1997 so he is 24 per international age. I know Korean age adds 1 or 2 years but since the reactor is not Korean so it wouldn't make sense to use the Korean age.

He’s been pretty vocal about being open to non-western perspectives so that pretty much includes the difference in their Korean and international ages. He’s pretty much decided that for himself and established that since day 1 of his journey into the rabbit hole.

However in this case you wanted to let him know how good JK's emotive vocals were that we could feel the pain even he was so young so I thought it would be more appropriate to say the actual international age that Roscoe would think it's more impressive.
First, your laughing at the Bangtan Bomb at the end was infectious and made me laugh so hard, which is REALLY what I needed this morning. Thank you! Bangtan Bombs are all about random, goofy, chaotic moments on sets, great little bit-size moments of joy. The message about your mom was so heartwarming. Jimin and Jin are my favorites in this song. I love it when Jin goes from his soft voice to his "fuller" voice. it has such a dramatic effect.

Legit love how you read the lyrics, your tone of voice is perfect. For me it's the desperation and hopelessness in House of Cards that always stirs my heart. It represents how the life ephemeral is fame or a any dream even, as life is, and yet, even though all ends, you still want to keep it for a little longer. Ah, seriously, it's tragically beautiful, just as The Truth Untold is, for it is a truth that'll remained untold... we can't turn back time, but I think that there's some hope in The Truth Untold as there's a realization that come throughout the song and the mask is indeed broken at the end. As BTS always says "It's the darkest before the dawn", so it's like even if it's the darkest, I can tell the dawn is near while listening to the Truth Untold while House of Cards is the futile desperate wish of keeping something we can't possibly keep, so even if it's beautiful, it's full of pain and bitterness, there's only the resignation of accepting reality and letting it fall down.
Ah, just talking about them, I love these two songs so much, I'm glad you reacted to them with us. I keep missing the premieres though TT side note, that conversation with your mom is so precious.

House of cards is my fave of the two, I just adore its bombastic, orchestral, "larger than life" vibe - a James Bond tune really.
They did such a great job with that song, soaked in sweat, tired, exhausted but still knocking our socks off. I love it.
Scatting and majority of backing + ad libs were all done by Jeon Jungkook. Insanely talented guy with polished taste and impeccable ear for complexities of vocal architecture. He is like a glue to everything they do, sealing it to ultimate perfection.
Their lives are just so good, so good. They definitely add to atmosphere and their presence on stage is something else.

You were laughing til you cried while I was laughing til I got hiccups. It was a hot mess near the end with photographer Hobi. Such a good pair of vocal line songs. The way their voices blend is immaculate. I cant wait to see reactions of more content of them being their chaotic selves.
I’m a 73 year old ARMY since I first saw BTS on Saturday Night Live on April 13, 2019. They got me through the darkest period of my life. My daughter was living with me and she was fighting cancer. She spent all of 2020 in home hospice. My 78 year old husband and I had to take care of her as she was bedridden. BTS wrote “BE for ARMY during the pandemic, but every song on that album felt like it was written just for me. Their other albums were also so helpful to me. The song “ON” was my fight song, giving me strength to keep on keeping on. My daughter died on January 9, 2021.
I’ve always enjoyed watching TH-cam videos of people discovering BTS. Your videos are wonderful. I am on your couch, even if I don’t participate in chat sessions.

I am crying with just you reading the lyrics of The Truth Untold… It is the most beautiful song. 💜 And the way their voices blend, and JK… 😭 The four of them are really invested in and feeling this song, it’s mesmerizing.
Their voices are absolutely amazing together they’ve worked together for so many years the harmonies and the ranges they all fill just work. Both songs are top tier favorites each has their own moments giving me goosebumps. Pace yourself and get rest! Bang tan Bombs are the best and there are so so many.
I'm what's known as OT7, but I lean toward Jimin's voice but you my friend, as I see it, lean heavily toward Jungkook. All of them are top rate singers. It's all in what floats your boat. They all have hooked me at one time or another or as ARMY calls it; they've all Biased Wrecked me. I don't know who helping you select your videos, but they are nailing it for me. Yeah at that point I don’t think they had really slept yet. They had just arrived, basically don’t the UN speech and performance filming, slept barley 4 hours, and then had to do the James Corden Filming.not to mention jet lag 😅
@@AnnieDHarpie Actually the UN speech was the trip before, Sept. 20th. This was filmed Wed, November 24th. They arrived in LA on the 17th, the AMAs were on the 21st. 💜

The Truth Untold is a song about/in relation to the fictional story that was set in 1500s . HYBE created the story. The protag in the story is Quasimodo-esque or maybe the beast in Beauty and the Beast.
It's one of the most interesting stories I've ever experienced in my life. It's more than music. It's living. That's why I love them so much for sharing their authenticity. What a gift.
