There’s a reactor I sometimes watch who commented that people complain because he never talks much about JungKook. He said that he realized that the reason is because JK is always so good, so consistently good, from singing at the center, to doing ad libs and background vocals for the vocal line and the rap line, and dancing so well that, in a way, he doesn’t stand out because he does everything so perfectly every time and we’ve gotten used to that. It would be noticeable if he messed up (or wasn’t doing ad libs or backup vocals), but JungKook never messes up. I do notice his exquisite vocals but his voice supports everyone else too so he’s everywhere. He makes everyone else shine brighter. I hope you know what I mean.
You must be referring to our one and the only DJ Jino, right? The best reactor on the whole of Internet, hands down. And he is right, unfortunately, people usually brush JK under the carpet, because they are like " he is always good, he always delivers, he never messes up, he is always 150% on, so whats new, why to even bother to comment "? He is so ridiculously gifted, consistent and stable that it goes to the point he becomes almost invisible. He blends in so flawlessly and enhances overall architecture of their songs so well that people do not even realize he is always there - ALWAYS. Although I understand logic behind such reasoning, it breaks my heart, because that directly implies that he is being taken for granted. And you know what ? I used to be one of those ignorant fools too, I too was overlooking him in the very beginning of my journey with Bangtan, and intentionally so, silly and ignorant right, I know, because I fell into the same trap of looking at him through a lens they managed to create around him - Golden Maknae that can do it all, the youngest, pampered and over hyped. I am ashamed to even admit to that today. Luckily, one single viewing of his "If you" performance in The Singer changed all of my preconceptions about the guy in one big clean sweep ( I was ultimately shell shocked when I heard him there, couldn´t comprehend how ridiculously great he was) and from that point on my appreciation, love and mad amount of respect for him as an artist has been steadily growing and growing and growing and every opportunity I get I never shup up about praising him because THE GUY DESERVES IT.
Terrible take. You wanted to "praise" him in that way or you purposely give him a backhanded compliment?? What do you mean he doesn't stand out when every vocalist in BTS has unique and distinct voice and technique? What do you mean he serves only to make everyone else shine brighter??? @@eleniminas7742 the price they all paid was high. They had to attend school, then doing homework and then training, training, training until deep at night. They didn´t get enough sleep for years. Kookie told once that they sometimes went to the bathroom and tried to sleep there for some minutes. They had not a normal youth as we had, no fun with friends, no girl-or boyfriends, only work, work, work. That is extremly hard for such young people. You have to be a fighter to get through this.

truth untold has like 3 to 4 variations where they sing each other's lines due to various reasons. sometimes V doing JK's adlibs or jimin's lines, sometimes jimin doing extra high notes, etc its amazing how they compliment each other during the tour and sing for each other when anyone is struggling with their health due to how much hard work they have to go through all at once.
I am crying with just you reading the lyrics of The Truth Untold… It is the most beautiful song. 💜 And the way their voices blend, and JK… 😭 The four of them are really invested in and feeling this song, it’s mesmerizing.

Legit love how you read the lyrics, your tone of voice is perfect. For me it's the desperation and hopelessness in House of Cards that always stirs my heart. It represents how the life ephemeral is fame or a any dream even, as life is, and yet, even though all ends, you still want to keep it for a little longer. Ah, seriously, it's tragically beautiful, just as The Truth Untold is, for it is a truth that'll remained untold... we can't turn back time, but I think that there's some hope in The Truth Untold as there's a realization that come throughout the song and the mask is indeed broken at the end. As BTS always says "It's the darkest before the dawn", so it's like even if it's the darkest, I can tell the dawn is near while listening to the Truth Untold while House of Cards is the futile desperate wish of keeping something we can't possibly keep, so even if it's beautiful, it's full of pain and bitterness, there's only the resignation of accepting reality and letting it fall down. Ah, just talking about them, I love these two songs so much, I'm glad you reacted to them with us. I keep missing the premieres though TT side note, that conversation with your mom is so precious.
I’m a 73 year old ARMY since I first saw BTS on Saturday Night Live on April 13, 2019. They got me through the darkest period of my life. My daughter was living with me and she was fighting cancer. She spent all of 2020 in home hospice. My 78 year old husband and I had to take care of her as she was bedridden. BTS wrote “BE for ARMY during the pandemic, but every song on that album felt like it was written just for me. Their other albums were also so helpful to me. The song “ON” was my fight song, giving me strength to keep on keeping on. My daughter died on January 9, 2021. I’ve always enjoyed watching TH-cam videos of people discovering BTS. Your videos are wonderful. I am on your couch, even if I don’t participate in chat sessions. Really all I wanted to say is welcome to ARMY!

I’ll do this in parts: 1. House of cards is one of my favorites!! I love the jazzy vibe, but I sometimes wonder how many Army babies are running around in the world because of this song. This song is such a baby making song, I could totally see it being part of a Fifty Shades of Grey OST. 😏 2. The Truth Untold is beautiful, but it’s so sad, I always remember the Brazilian concert, when Jimin was sick, couldn’t sing all of his parts, he just starts crying and holds his mic so the very eager Brazilian Army could sing his part. It was so beautiful but heart breaking at the same time. 3. Oh, Roscoe, buckle up, that short BTS Bomb is just a tiny taste of how silly, funny and goofy the boys are. Their voices are absolutely amazing together they’ve worked together for so many years the harmonies and the ranges they all fill just work. Both songs are top tier favorites each has their own moments giving me goosebumps. Pace yourself and get rest! Bang tan Bombs are the best and there are so so many.

There are times that I go “Man JK’s voice is too young and he doesn’t have enough life experiences to give this song emotional heft.” Then songs like this prove me damn wrong. It’s crazy how he sounds young one second then he hits a certain note and my heart is just in pieces. Roscoe, this man is only 25 years old and can do pretty much anything. Theoretically he’s barely even peaked. All of them haven’t reached their creative and artistic peak. Imagine if the western music and entertainment industry would deem them as peers rather than fringe successes from a foreign land in the East (side eye Scammies, Brits and you too, Snoop) instead of clout and ratings bait. They’re shattering expectations and never ending glass ceilings already with all these resistance. We are only seeing the tip of the iceberg on their impact on the industry and pop culture history.

He’s been pretty vocal about being open to non-western perspectives so that pretty much includes the difference in their Korean and international ages. I'm what's known as OT7, but I lean toward Jimin's voice but you my friend, as I see it, lean heavily toward Jungkook. All of them are top rate singers. It's all in what floats your boat. They all have hooked me at one time or another or as ARMY calls it; they've all Biased Wrecked me. I don't know who helping you select your videos, but they are nailing it for me. Leave it to BTS and they will always surprise. House of cards is my fave of the two, I just adore its bombastic, orchestral, "larger than life" vibe - a James Bond tune really. They did such a great job with that song, soaked in sweat, tired, exhausted but still knocking our socks off. I love it. Scatting and majority of backing + ad libs were all done by Jeon Jungkook. Insanely talented guy with polished taste and impeccable ear for complexities of vocal architecture. He is like a glue to everything they do, sealing it to ultimate perfection. Their lives are just so good, so good. They definitely add to atmosphere and their presence on stage is something else. .... on another note, your tone of voice is so deliciously rumbl-y, Suga has the same quality when he speaks :-) ... deep, rumbl-y and resonant....

Aaah this vid was soooo great, I keep forgetting how much of a baby army I really am (only 8 months in) so many of the things you watch, I've never seen. I love it!!!
There are so many sounds and arrangements that BTS have only done once or twice and I'd love for them to go back and do more of certain things (like scatting, JK rapping, etc.), but one of the things I love about them is that every time they release a new album it sounds different than anything they've ever done before. There are some artists who are fantastic singers but their sound never changes; so boring. You'll never make it through Run!BTS if you laugh like that at a Bangtan Bomb (which are just short snippets of them behind the scenes at photoshoots, interviews, and performances).

He blends in so flawlessly and enhances overall architecture of their songs so well that people do not even realize he is always there - ALWAYS. Although I understand logic behind such reasoning, it breaks my heart, because that directly implies that he is being taken for granted.
And you know what ? I used to be one of those ignorant fools too, I too was overlooking him in the very beginning of my journey with Bangtan, and intentionally so, silly and ignorant right, I know, because I fell into the same trap of looking at him through a lens they managed to create around him - Golden Maknae that can do it all, the youngest, pampered and over hyped. I am ashamed to even admit to that today. Luckily, one single viewing of his "If you" performance in The Singer changed all of my preconceptions about the guy in one big clean sweep ( I was ultimately shell shocked when I heard him there, couldn´t comprehend how ridiculously great he was) and from that point on my appreciation, love and mad amount of respect for him as an artist has been steadily growing and growing and growing and every opportunity I get I never shup up about praising him because THE GUY DESERVES IT.
Terrible take. You wanted to "praise" him in that way or you purposely give him a backhanded compliment?? What do you mean he doesn't stand out when every vocalist in BTS has unique and distinct voice and technique? What do you mean he serves only to make everyone else shine brighter??? His purpose and position isn't to support or to "make everyone shine brighter" he's shining bright on his own like all the other members, he's unique in his own way and he's an incredible artist. Seems like it's a "you" problem that you don't want notice him because I can assure you so many people love and praise him. Damn he's one of the best vocalists in the industry and the amount of praise he's getting from other singers, producers, vocal coaches and other professionals is huge. He's one of the most talented and hardworking musicians so why are you straight up downplaying him? @@eleniminas7742 the price they all paid was high. They had to attend school, then doing homework and then training, training, training until deep at night. They didn´t get enough sleep for years. Kookie told once that they sometimes went to the bathroom and tried to sleep there for some minutes. They had not a normal youth as we had, no fun with friends, no girl-or boyfriends, only work, work, work. That is extremly hard for such young people. You have to be a fighter to get through this.

Legit love how you read the lyrics, your tone of voice is perfect. For me it's the desperation and hopelessness in House of Cards that always stirs my heart. It represents how the life ephemeral is fame or a any dream even, as life is, and yet, even though all ends, you still want to keep it for a little longer. Ah, seriously, it's tragically beautiful, just as The Truth Untold is, for it is a truth that'll remained untold... we can't turn back time, but I think that there's some hope in The Truth Untold as there's a realization that come throughout the song and the mask is indeed broken at the end. As BTS always says "It's the darkest before the dawn", so it's like even if it's the darkest, I can tell the dawn is near while listening to the Truth Untold while House of Cards is the futile desperate wish of keeping something we can't possibly keep, so even if it's beautiful, it's full of pain and bitterness, there's only the resignation of accepting reality and letting it fall down.

I’m a 73 year old ARMY since I first saw BTS on Saturday Night Live on April 13, 2019. They got me through the darkest period of my life. My daughter was living with me and she was fighting cancer. She spent all of 2020 in home hospice. My 78 year old husband and I had to take care of her as she was bedridden. BTS wrote “BE for ARMY during the pandemic, but every song on that album felt like it was written just for me. Their other albums were also so helpful to me. The song “ON” was my fight song, giving me strength to keep on keeping on. My daughter died on January 9, 2021.
I’ve always enjoyed watching TH-cam videos of people discovering BTS. Your videos are wonderful. I am on your couch, even if I don’t participate in chat sessions.

1. House of cards is one of my favorites!! I love the jazzy vibe, but I sometimes wonder how many Army babies are running around in the world because of this song. This song is such a baby making song, I could totally see it being part of a Fifty Shades of Grey OST. 😏
2. The Truth Untold is beautiful, but it’s so sad, I always remember the Brazilian concert, when Jimin was sick, couldn’t sing all of his parts, he just starts crying and holds his mic so the very eager Brazilian Army could sing his part. It was so beautiful but heart breaking at the same time.
3. Oh, Roscoe, buckle up, that short BTS Bomb is just a tiny taste of how silly, funny and goofy the boys are. Wait until you see Jin with the maknae line. They’re just hilarious 😆.

There are times that I go “Man JK’s voice is too young and he doesn’t have enough life experiences to give this song emotional heft.” Then songs like this prove me damn wrong. It’s crazy how he sounds young one second then he hits a certain note and my heart is just in pieces. Roscoe, this man is only 25 years old and can do pretty much anything. Theoretically he’s barely even peaked. All of them haven’t reached their creative and artistic peak. Imagine if the western music and entertainment industry would deem them as peers rather than fringe successes from a foreign land in the East (side eye Scammies, Brits and you too, Snoop) instead of clout and ratings bait. They’re shattering expectations and never ending glass ceilings already with all these resistance. We are only seeing the tip of the iceberg on their impact on the industry and pop culture history.

I just love the jazziness(?) of it. And the way the vocals work together. Wow - you want harmony? Send them BTS! That's it. And The Truth Untold - first time I heard it, I didn't know the vocal line could sing like that - especially Jungkook - in English! He did it perfectly. I'll try to look up your reaction to Outro: Tear as well. It's another one of my favourite songs. It has a lot of angst in it and it's my go-to song when I am upset or if someone has done me wrong. Scatting and majority of backing + ad libs were all done by Jeon Jungkook. Insanely talented guy with polished taste and impeccable ear for complexities of vocal architecture. He is like a glue to everything they do, sealing it to ultimate perfection.

There are so many sounds and arrangements that BTS have only done once or twice and I'd love for them to go back and do more of certain things (like scatting, JK rapping, etc.), but one of the things I love about them is that every time they release a new album it sounds different than anything they've ever done before. There are some artists who are fantastic singers but their sound never changes; so boring.
You'll never make it through Run!BTS if you laugh like that at a Bangtan Bomb (which are just short snippets of them behind the scenes at photoshoots, interviews, and performances).
Replying as I watch: Oh I'm desperatley in love with House of Cards! It's one of my favourite songs of the entire BTS discography 💜 Thank you for the reaction, is a terribly underrated song and it' soooo unfair!💜
