Eternal epic progressive masterpiece. A little as if Watchtower made a Manilla Road record, very unique style. Everyone who likes Adramelch should check out Dark Quarterer as well.
Also with a bit of italian prog thrown in here and there, i think :)

Band meravigliosa di Milano, la mia città, li conobbi nel 1987 tramite il drummer di allora Luca Moretti, ragazzo simpatico e parecchio dotato, purtroppo scomparso nel 2016,e mi regalarono il loro demo, già fighissimo con le prime versioni di alcuni brani presenti su questo esordio,davvero una grandissima band!!!
Al tempo facevo un programma Metal in una radio locale. Ebbi il privilegio di ascoltare l'album appena uscito, inviato in promo alle radio.

I think that chorus (or whatever the part at 43:42 is called) of Dreams of a Jester where the lyrics start with "Singer fly..." is the greatest melody and arrangement in all of metal. This LP is just full of great moments but that one is my favorite.

Finally the full album of this might Power / Prog metal album! It sounds a bit cleaner than what I recall. Nonetheless, this along with Moon of Steel are superb!

Mi ricordano dei Fates Warning stile "Awaken the guardian" ma più epici. Veramente notevoli... Una vera scoperta... Ricordo il numero di H/M dove lo recensirono... E' vero il discorso sull'esterofilia del metallaro dell'epoca ma Il problema era anche che non c'era internet e le radio che trasmettevano Metal erano inesistenti, per cui andare a spendere 15000 lire (magari non si navigava neanche nell'oro) per comprare un disco di una band italiana semi sconosciuta (ancorché entusiasticamente recensita) non era un rischio che molti (me compreso, per esempio) volevano accollarsi...
