The Chris Jarvis era was more kind in giving out statues than the Michael Underwood era. The former usually has a maximum of five statues per challenge while the latter only had a maximum of four statues per challenge.

If this was the Michael Underwood era the boy would've been trapped at the lost tomb. In the later series they like to shaft the explorers over the last few seconds.

@@Highran56 Yeah thankfully in the Michael Underwood eras it didn't matter too much as they had them fixed together after that & the prizes were too big to fit inside those statues anyway
@@davidfearis7335 I think they used several takes and added the prizes to the bottom of the statues after the explorers got them out of the temple. There was an episode where a team won digital camcorders from the golden monkey and all three camcorders were sitting up right and evenly spaced out. No way that would happen after being knocked out so much after being carried out. (Unless they used some tac to hold them down)

That challenge at Angel falls was ridiculous. The amount of time they took to prepare the bsmboo channels to float the water 💦 into the shrines.

I'm loving The Lost Tomb soundtrack, which was also used in the Tokat's Tomb (but with added low growls) and the Koattle challenges in The Lost Cave.

Well spotted. Though in the later series they didn't even keep the prizes in the bottom of the monkey statues so it wouldn't have mattered too much.
