W.r.t to your comment about the price differential between items on iPhone & android, I'll urge you to check the costs associated with operating an app on both platforms, primarily the percentage charged by google and apple on their respective platforms. Algo is screwing up if if can't tell between a latest galaxy phone and an iphone from years ago.
