I don't recall the specific context from this conversation (it was a while ago now), but you don't need to have special legal work experiences (or any particular work experience in general) to apply. I saw you posted in the LSAT Unplugged FB group as well, so I'm sure you'll get some answers there.
So should I write a why Harvard law essay unsolicited or it's gonna hurt me if I do? Other schools like Yale and Stanford has their own optional essay prompts to potentially boost a candidate's chance, Harvard doesn't. But i feel not enough just submit a PS and Diversity when I have done a 'why school' essay for every other school. Please advise.
@@pipersecretp3 Yeah, she did correct me on that - I'd been under the misconception that it was meant to be "Why Yale," but it isn't. (One of the great things about these discussions is that I learn a lot, too!) For those curious: law.yale.edu/admissions/jd-admissions/ask-asha/250-word-albatross
Requirement to have compelling reason is absurd -- what does a college kid know? It leads to a lot of "diversity" essays about how they are going to change the world blah blah blah. College kids cannot possibly have intelligently formed reasons.
He answers everything with “that makes a lot of sense” 😂
Well, that makes a lot of sense.
This makes a lot of sense! Thanks!
I checked the comments just to see how many people commented “that makes a lot of sense”
Great video though!
When you say speak of past experiences does it mean work ex? Because I don’t have legal experience.

New drinking game: Every time he says “that makes a lot of sense” you take a shot. 😂
I am on my 5th shot and count on "that makes a lot of sense"
Great video full of nuggets
But, did it make a lot of sense?
Are you implying the 250 word statement for Yale should be about why their school? Their representatives have said quite the opposite.
She said it just after I typed it. Yeah, don't do that.
