What an amazing great story. Enjoyed every chapter
Thank you. I can’t get enough of Baldacci stories.
Why using the Lord's name?
me neither :)
This is one of the best books I've listened to in a long time.
Thank you.
This was another insightful and captivating story, superbly narrated. Thanks y'all.❤
Honestly pisses me off. Though fictional I’m sure these kind of situations happened a lot then and now. Sad & malicious world we live in. Good Book.
I hear you! This is hard to listen to. AND I have a presidential last name. It helps me to see how blessed I am.
AWESOME book!! I really enjoyed it!
Thank you x2 😊
Loved it ❤
I am so happy to find another David Baldacci upload
Thanks😊
This is an amazing story. You don't see any of it coming. What a way to tell a tale. Wow. I couldn't stop listening. This took guts to write. It pulled some of the punches to be edited to be less offensive...but I get it.
Wow! what an amazing story...so timely for our current social challenges, too.
I don't see the end of Sam Crow, the late 60's and what is going on today as anywhere near quantifiable.. Not sure how old you are or what you have read or reresearched, but your kinda off base. Like desert storm Boys comparing themselves to Vietnam vets. Both served but completely different battles.
@@jakeminner6650 do you mean Jim Crow? I think you might be a little off base. The current effort to restrict or suppress voting, the absolute attack on minorities and women, the restrictions of women's freedoms certainly are reflected in this story. For your own reference: "Jim Crow laws were a manifestation of authoritarian rule specifically directed at one racial group. Black people were still elected to local offices throughout the 1880s in local areas with large black populations, but their voting was suppressed for state and national elections." Can you see the parallels?
Brilliant story and even better narration!
I love this book
I have listened to it several times and have enjoyed it every time
The narrators all of them
I was crying off and on at work ! This is really great book.
very good book
Thank you very enjoyable
David Baldacci and a host of other narrators.
Appreciate the download! Just curious, on audible it says the book is a little over 14 hours long….. is this the entire book or were some parts left out?
