As a daycare worker, vizlas are absolutely the most people obsessed/addicted dog you can find. Never. Ever. Will you have a moment alone. And if you manage to lose the dog, you will find it trembling in the corner of your bedroom, absolutely on deaths door from separation anxiety.
That’s all my pets….it doesn’t matter if they are a pittie and a black cat or my adopted Northern Cardinals, who will wait inside my porch for me to return.
That was my Doberman. Never left my side and would be in my lap when I let him. He also loved everybody and all other animals - except squirrels. He hated squirrels. Lol.

The cardinals fly in and wait for me to come home if I leave for an appointment, despite the fact the haven’t been able to fill the feeders in many years. I also hand rear wild monarchs when I am able. I typically do 500/year.

Because of illness, I spend a lot of time at hospital, and I dearly love when I'm there on a Therapy Dog day. All these wonderful babies, all sorts of breeds, are just perfect 'medicine' when I'm having bad days, like when I'm having infusion. I love them all, but my favorite is an adorable, verrrrrry sweet, red darling. She's a Viszla. She, and her mom, always seem to take more time with me than the other teams. She always crawls gently into my lap, and is just so loving, and comforting, perfect. Thanx, so so very very much, sweet girl, you and your darling mama always bring sunshine into my day. The door was open she could see me past a baby gate and the cries she made. If you didn’t know any better you would have thought she was being abused. Vinnie was my uncle and aunt's doggie and he whined so much he made my cocker spaniel Charlie also get separation anxiety since our summer home was shared with my Uncle and Aunt and the duo were together all the time. Vinny was excitable and young and big, and Charlie was an old fart who rarely got mad yet was scared and annoyed at Vinny the first few meetups and couldn't keep up with Vinny at all. But they eventually became bff's.
Goodness and I thought my dog laying down sadly outside the bathroom waiting for me to come out was bad haha! Vizslas sound like such sweethearts, but definitely not a good dog for someone with an away from home job.
Bad breeding creates timid vizlas. They are a hunting breed and should have a strong predatory drive, but non hunters buy them and then get mad when it does what its supposed to by catching and killing the neighbors cat. Same shit happens with weimaraners. Bad owners and bad breeders create timid dogs instead of the strong confident hunters they should be.

If they managed to get the pug out of whatever pit it was in, I'm sure a dedicated hunter (which is now 100% for sport as no one NEEDS to hunt apart from remote tribes) will be able to get an aggressive version of a breed that has not changed its body.
I've never met one that didn't try to kill me by accident. They're not malicious, just would prefer to bodyslam your head into the wall rather than do literally anything else.

I'm really upset, I'm Hungarian and I've watch this Chanel for so long ( subbed and like too) and I have a Hungarian vizsla named Ruby she is my world and she LOVES everyone so now I'm upset because I've searched what having a velcro personality is :( . I promise you they are mostly the sweetest dogs that love attention and make GREAT family members!!She now has 12 puppies that she takes care of and is not aggressive to us in any way. Yes they can be sassy but its always hilarious!She will protect us at all costs even if she's scared herself , she's never attacked anyone when doing so she only barks in the dark(at night) with fur on end and makes sure the territory is safe for us to step out in are yard XD . Friends of mine got a very big vizsla and he was called "bátor" which means brave. Lmao he couldn't sleep without the dad leaving his leg hanging out of his bed so he can lean on it.
I found a Vizsla puppy in my garden. He was asleep by my blueberry shrub covered in blueberries.😄 I did look around to see if I could see its mother and possibly his siblings but nothing. I asked around my neighbors if they lost a pup and they all said no. So I took it to the vet to see if he was hurt or sick, but he was all healthy. He got his shots and everything. I named him Howl after one of my favourite books called Howl's moving castle by Diana Wynne Jones. I thought it was a perfect fit.😊

As a vizsla owner my self let me add so more personality’s they have 1 they will ALWAYS SIT ON YOUR LAP ( even though they are like 50 pounds 2 they love to go outside and hunt 3 they HAVE to play before going to bed or they will keep you up all night! Last but not least they SHEAD A-LOT almost all of my cloths are covered in these tiny little rust hair

Velcro is officially a personality 💀
As a vizsla owner my self let me add so more personality’s they have
1 they will ALWAYS SIT ON YOUR LAP ( even though they are like 50 pounds
2 they love to go outside and hunt
3 they HAVE to play before going to bed or they will keep you up all night!
Last but not least they SHEAD A-LOT almost all of my cloths are covered in these tiny little rust hair

I have a 2 year old vizsla. Super fun and energetic. For people that don’t know what the Velcro is for it’s because vizslas are called Velcro vizslas and they love rubbing right up on you and cuddling.

We get a vizsla at work sometimes and she’s so funny, I absolutely love her. It’s like all she wants to do it cuddle but at the same time she has too much energy to sit still for cuddles - so instead she hugs you with her top half and dances with her bottom half xD

I had a Vizsla since I was born, he had a mental problem and he was always barking. He unfortunately died at the age of 14, but he was the cutest dog ever.
