I don’t understand why they couldn’t have left the comp rewards the same and just add extra for the online grinders. They had to see the rivals numbers were down so they decided to screw the offline people to reward online grinders which is such a crappy way to handle it considering they claim to want the players to “play the way you want”
As an offline Grinder i'm sad. I just really can't do the online grind anymore. Getting coins from weekly competitive was great before. I've done all the milestones so coins are rare
yeah. I finished the S2 XP path a whole week early so the wk7 and bonus XP objectives were all wasted. Had I known they may carry over, I wouldn't have claimed them as I completed them...
For offline players this is a terrible change and I know Thrash and all these other TH-camrs don't care but to me Rivals is not fun it probably never will be fun. This years rewards they were promoting it so online players and offline players have the same rewards so it's fair and they've completely abandoned that now. I wish TH-camrs like Thrash would use their platform to promote change instead of pretending everything's fine and dandy because it's not, the games been terrible this year for HUT, and today they just made it worse. I won't be playing until change happens.
I havent played rivals at all this year - 4-5 games a week to qualify for champs and the rest is squad battles I have been very vocal about how much I dislike the changes this year - to the point where I got a job instead of doing content full time lol

Could understand play 50 games but to need win...even if youd win 50% of your games in rivals that would be still 80 games to play i was counting w that pace it would take around 6h of playing/day everyday to get them done+wild cards and moments😅 thats alot

I think they should have kept SB and Rivals in the same reward path and just changed the XP multiplier for Rivals. That encourages people to play more Rivlas, but doesn’t force it to earn all possible rewards. Either way the fact they won’t drop this bound players nonsense is dumb. They need to accept they screwed up and stop making bound players. Every player should be eligible for sets at least.
I like how we are being pushed more towards playing rivals but i just played a rivals game and won 2-1. Shows on the leaderboards but received 0xp and didnt count towards the rivals objectives. Completed the daily objectives in the game so i guess thats a plus but man, dont push for a mode to be played if its not going to work right.
You dont HAVE to do it though - its just an option if you want extra rewards The 30 wins online is the same as it was the entire year, the new stuff is just extra

@@strangenotes95 You can still do that though Like if you only want to play offline after your champs run, you still get tradable packs for that (I think the quality will be a less than before though) Its not that much different - lets say 12 wins in champs, play some rivals to get into champs the next week (depending on division, could get you up to the 20 wins elite pack) and then the rest in SB Its not the same, but you can still do it that way if you want

SB players are now missing out on 35k coins per week now with the weekly objective change. Online players can do the Rivals/champs which is what the weekly objectives were AND can play rookie SB and put the controller down and get the same rewards offline players get. So much for “play the way you want”….

That is brutal that it carried over, I am positive NoSleeves said it would not. I've been done the XP path for weeks and that extra XP would have all gone to this season. I just clicked it off as it's annoying to see the indicator that I have objectives completed.
It worked for a bunch of people from S1 - S2 so I figured I'd try it There was a guy that saved all of his S1 XP and was immediately done S2 at the beginning haha
The XP path is just not realistic. Compare it to Fortnite where you can easily complete. I just think they are pushing people away from the game unnecessarily.
This I think I disagree with, you can finish the XP path in 10-15 hours total at the end - especially if they add bonus XP again last last XP Path Just the Objectives alone (daily, weekly, bonus, moments) are like 80% of the path completed

It’s strange how they keep making Detroit and San Jose player content. Every single change the team makes the game gets worse and worse I’d be glad to play online if the servers weren’t trash.
Larkin is cool… ig. He’s gonna end up playing at C for me considering I wasn’t able to make anyone from the GoG event. It’s too bad for my buddy and every else who has a squad like him that Larkin is a bottom 6 player for him. I personally think the card is great! But not sure id say it’s worth it for everyone to go out of their way and get him.

Trash you have to check out the season 3 xp superior pack that you get in sets for 12 collectibles. I opened up one and got 2 purple pulls and an 83 in the same pack. I got an 85 game breakers sheiffele and an 86 gallery of greats Denis potvin

Great card at 50, can sell all rewards except the bnd cards and more rewards, no problem here...ps play on semi pro to get objective s done, easy to do get lots of stuff done and counts towards games played, and online/moments extra xp and packs.😊
@ldgaming8673 well they added for example the Brett Hull and Rob Blake in the week 2 of gallery of greats and Lemieux got upgrade to 89 so there is definetly alot of right handed players out there could have got quite easy

I'm liking the changes however not liking the change to the xp for squad battles 700xp less per game kind of sucks but other then that pretty happy with it and that Larkin looks 🔥
As an offline player, I'm fine with the changes to Squad Battles. I like how people can play on whatever difficulty they want. I also like playing for 3 min more than 4 min. Yeah, sucks you lose like 700 a game which can add up over time, but I'm not upset at it now after Sleeves broke it down. The only people I really feel bad for are Div 3 players. They really got shafted today. Are today's changes great? No, but it's not really that bad. And no, I'm not an EA employee lol.

It did carry over BECAUSE you were on the screen and claimed it before logging back in, if you were to sign in afterwards it would have disappeared

Ekblad or Bratt be the best cards w their abilitys and overally their cards look very solid so i think you def made the right choice there

It only carried over the bonus XP set, I was halfway done and it got me to 7.
I only had a couple of the bonus done - dont think it carried any of it for me though and just teh final weeks since I got 45

Great card at 50, can sell all rewards except the bnd cards and more rewards, no problem here...ps play on semi pro to get objective s done, easy to do get lots of stuff done and counts towards games played, and online/moments extra xp and packs.😊

@ldgaming8673 well they added for example the Brett Hull and Rob Blake in the week 2 of gallery of greats and Lemieux got upgrade to 89 so there is definetly alot of right handed players out there could have got quite easy

I'm liking the changes however not liking the change to the xp for squad battles 700xp less per game kind of sucks but other then that pretty happy with it and that Larkin looks 🔥

As an offline player, I'm fine with the changes to Squad Battles. I like how people can play on whatever difficulty they want. I also like playing for 3 min more than 4 min. Yeah, sucks you lose like 700 a game which can add up over time, but I'm not upset at it now after Sleeves broke it down. The only people I really feel bad for are Div 3 players. They really got shafted today. Are today's changes great? No, but it's not really that bad. And no, I'm not an EA employee lol.
