I think Shorekeeper was one of the biggest Jiyan buffs in the game. If you pulled her, and don't own him yet, he's a great investment. Just don't let Camellya see your pulls.
@@moraiel7925 Really cuz I find him absolutely terrible in the overworld and meh in dungeons. He's completely reliant on his ult which is overkill on even on the biggest group of enemies in the overworld. Then you're stuck with his sad basic attacks until ult is back up. Same in dugneons, you might start with ult and destroy everything, but when you go again you're energy is only at half. And hyper carry teams are just generally meh in the overworld, because nothing needs you to channel 2 character's buffs into one. Just a big waste of time.
@@zippo718nope, when I use him and I’m doing my rotations I’ve almost always got my ult by the time I switch back to him. He is just easy to use and it’s just easy completions on things you want done
Jiyan shouldn't be looked down upon. He may not have the burst damage that people see constantly from others like Jinhsi, Changli, Xiangli Yao, and so on, but Jiyan's kit makes him really flexible and as stated in the video, makes him work well with numerous 4-Star characters compared to the recent 5-Stars that need specific lineups to perform their best. Also, he has TRACTION. He can pull enemies into his attack range while under Res. Lib. State, and the META DPS characters don't really have that. He can't oneshot like Jinhsi, but he is consistent, making him good in nearly all game modes, especially TOA. Don't sleep on the guy. You need several teams in TOA and Jiyan will remain viable for a long time, especially when he might get a better dedicated Sub-DPS/Support that could replace Mortefi.

I highly recommend it as a jiyan main. Today, when the banner came again, I was able to develop it up to s3 and its damage is incredible. I deal about 1.5 million damage in a single rotation with Mortefei and Shorekeeper. I was also happy with s0 and r1signature to.
I agree with ppl saying his gameplay is brain dead. Yet, look at HIS ULT!!! The transition from his mid-air Intro into his Ult where he mid-air summons DRAGON and Slams it down feels fk SATISFYING. As a guy pulling mainly for Animation, I am in love with that. P.s: I wish he had a Resonance Chain that would either refreshes his E or Summons Spears at enemies like those buff he gets in Illusive Realm. Anyways, he is one of my favorite husbandos. PULL PULL PULL❤❤❤!!!
Braindead gameplay is what you want in the unit you use for daily farming though, let me just hold down one button and farm my 500th forgery without having to look at the screen for where the enemies have run off too.
I agree with all of you. I’ve pulled every character and although Jinhsi and Calcharo are AMAZING My Boy Jiyan is just so fucking fun to use. I love switching up my combo from HEAVY ATTACK launching an enemy into the air, Then slamming them back down Popping that Ult with the DRAGON 🐉 and nuking everything!!! Following it with them dragon fury combos!
I personally have an S6 Jiyan because I was lucky on his banner. I will say it was absolutely worth the money. S6 Jiyan, S6 Mortefi, S0 Shorekeeper. Carrying me through the entire game with ease.
@cartoonvideos5 There are quite a few F2P friendly teams that can easily do just as much damage and clear as much content as my team can with relative ease. One of the main things that sets this game apart from other gachas is that every character, even the MC, is completely viable all the way to endgame with enough time and investment. While I don't disagree that spending money is a huge advantage in games like these, it is not absolutely necessary in order to build a functioning team with equal capabilities for little to no cost at all.
Won 50/50 10 pull on character for the first time in my gacha life 😂 but always get weapon on 70-80 pull 😢 never early but at least got early character I already appreciate it 😊
I do not pull for Jiyan and still get him on 23 pity... xD when i just try get Youho ;p now i have 100% 5* and 100% 4* in the game... luckly i still have 90 pulls for 1.4 baner (and some days to save up)
Love how the developers are balancing the game in order to avoid the powercreeep other games have faced aka: ( HSR, Genshin, HI3, ZZZ (pretty soon), TOF, and go on...) Wuwa team have already analized and studied where the competition have failed to balance their games and then making it much better for the players, Kuro cooked!! 🗿🗿🗿🗿
To be fair genshin direct power creep is few and far between ( took 4 years for Hu Tao to finally get dethroned as best pyro main dps) and Hi3 took awhile too but hsr is the worst right now.
Not gonna put too much trust on powercreep balances, it's unavoidable such character released at earlier patch be powercreeped in near future. Even in PGR,there is gen1 replaced by gen2...and the power spike is insane due to multiple of improvement and new mechanic added

Unfortunately I'd have to agree with u a bit with ZZZ, as someone who played since launch, the slight lack of A-rank (4-star) characters can be a bit diminishing towards F2P (which Im not) but it may fall into the category of gacha that may end up having way more 5 stars than useable 4 stars. Plus alot of the newer 5 stars cover multiple facets required in a team that alone cover what 2 4-star support like characters could do (most notably, Caesar King who is a shielder, stunner, debuffer and team buffer all in one character)

I think it's really fun to play the Shore Keeper, Jiyan, Xiangli Yao team. You're never left standing there naked. I don't know why, but I don't get on well with Morti, which is a real shame, because I actually need XY in other team combos if I want to get more stars in the tower. I had Team Jiyan, Chaos Rover and Verina at first and they still clear up the domains quickly for me.

I got him during ver 1.0 at S1R1, then drop the game right before Yinlin Banner. Im got back to the game last week since I've heard he's having a rerun, but I got 2 copies of shorekeeper from the free pulls.... currently grinding the game to get his copies since i really love this character. Hehe
Jiyan was my first ever limited 5 star in wuwa and was also the last time i got lucky with pity, i got both him and his signature in under 10 pulls each. Unfortunately rngesus is not keen on blessing me with the ape boss's mainstat or substats but i will prevail and finally get my jiyan to the state he deserves.
i have him s2r1 but goal is s3. he will have my most premium team so far with s3r1 shorekeeper. he's just so consistent and flexible its hard to beat that specifically.

I pretty much dropped wuwa, im a first hour starter + reroll so i had the opportunity to pull him + sign weap and Jinshi + Sign weapon (+ Zhezhi but couldnt get the weap, and i have E1 Verina) I'm pretty glad to see that my first and main dps is still really valuable in the game, when i come back for Phrolova imma sure invest and still play him a lot (i like his gameplay).

5:32 I would say for maximum comfort try to aim for 150 to 160 ER on Jiyan so he can get his liberation up every rotation lol. I've used 130 ER on Jiyan and it makes him very clunky to play so the more ER the better trust me but good guide.
Double intro skills to Jiyan every rotation should make it pretty smooth with 125-130% ER! 150-160 is a bit rough as you'll need a mid-range ER substat on every echo. Combine that with a crit rate/damage roll, and it can get be really hard to find those pieces.
Yeah i got him in the first ever patch And though Xiangli Yao dethroned him as my strongest dps He's still one of my highest damage dealing chara, and i can usually kill each boss under 20s if The build is right(and Ult are up ofc)
Jiyan is pure QoL. Mine is maxed all the way, as much as s0r1 can be without farming echoes for months, i also got Jinhsi, Changli and Xiangli equally built, and Danjin with godrolls on every echo. Jiyan is still the comfiest character to play and the more you grow in skill the better it gets. He's easy to play, but with good positioning and clean rotations he gives sooooo much performance. Team is Mortefi and Shorekeeper. I build a bit of concerto with them 3 swapping during cooldowns, then big ape and chain intros to get all the buffs going asap. 12k dmg per tick during his liberation
I do barely 8k dmg per tick with 2,3k and good c/cd ratio. How can I make my stronger? I don’t have r6 mortefi, but his weapon. But dude is weaker than my encore currently
@@ryuk.523 all maxed, there isn’t one thing I missed. That’s why I am so confused. I also learned his rotation. I do around 15% dmg of floor 4 boss with his full rotations. Were I do around 25% with encore …
I'm a week in this game and I got jiyan 2 times back to back then after I got his weapon with a 10 pull , ik this sounds insane but even I'm shocked (in total it was around 30-40 pulls )
They could also buff attack speed, which is a stat that really doesn't benefit any other DPS at all (except maybe Calcharo, Encore, and HRover). Would be an amazing way to spice up his playstyle.
i got S6 Mortefi pretty much week 1 so I'm chilling. Tho it took me until this week to actually fully build him, and I still haven't levelled up his guns passed level 50 lmao
I was trying to roll some pitty for Camelia, ended up with S1 Jiyan on both accounts in like 20-30 pulls 😱 my man really wants to be with me I had 1 copy of him on 1 account since his first banner. 2nd account S1 came a surprise
I feel like with Mortefi around, Jiyan still holds loads of value. This really begs the question, is there any chance we get a 5 star in the future that can supply Jiyan with boosted heavy atk even more than Mortefi?
I was pulling for Mortefi cons on Jiyan rerun... I literally lost the 50/50, got Jiyan S1, lost the 50/50 again and only got 1 Mortefi, he is S4 now ._.
I'm a Jiyan main without really reading a lot of his kit and his team comps but hey maybe you can add text to his combos like this character+ this skill etc. I would love to hear more about him.
I got screwed with Mortefi dupes after losing 2 5050 on Jiyans banner pulling for mortefi and ending up with S1 Jiyan in the process. Even after going for his dupes on Mortefi’s re run banners I still only ended up with S1 Mortefi. I am no longer pulling for Mortefi. Screw him. Not worth it when Camellya is after Jiyan’s banner. Also at 13:00 you said Jiyan’s S2 gives him a 28% damage buff. That’s false it says specifically 28% atk increase which is not the same as damage increase. If it was damage increase his S2 would be a lot better. I originally was thinking to get his S2 but got S2 shorekeeper instead bc her 40% attack buff lasts longer and can be used on everyone.
My account is DEFINITELY positioned for Jiyan, and probably will take me over the edge to consistently complete the tower with full stars every rotation. But Camellya tho...
I have Vardant Summit and Mortefi S6, but not Jiyan himself. I'm at 65 pity too. Camellya is coming out Nov 14. If I get Jiyan now, I'm at risk of not getting Camellya. What's worse is that Camellya banner has 2 characters that I already have at S6. Having to pull close to another 70 pulls for Camellya banner would be very inefficient. And this is assuming I win the 50/50 on either banner.
Guys I lost my 50 50 to encore at 11 pulls. Then got jiyan in another 15. Then got his weapon in another 18 pulls. I decided to risk getting the new char after that so spent an additional 26 pulls. I just need to gain 26 wishes to gurantee next 5 star char
So I'm a new player in WuWa, I pulled both Shorekeeper and Jiyan this week, I just want to know if my team Rover, Shorekeeper, and Jiyan works well too?
Too bad I already invested in Jinshi with signature for a resource efficient toa cleaner. I just use Toaqi and Yuanwu. Jinshi is the only one I needed to heavily invest on to. Getting a Jiyan for my account on it's current state wouldn't give me much value. Because I already have 2 other teams too. So just as said on the vid, pulling him really is highly dependent on your account's state, or if you really just like Jiyan.
Is yinlin a decent replacement for mortefi? I haven't built my mortefi well yet and im trying to right now but im just wondering if yinlin is a good choice for him either

I'm saving for Yinlin, but I have enough resources to guarantee her (and her weapon!) so I think it wouldn't hurt if I spend 20-30 pulls on Jiyan's banner. Either I'll get him, or I get closer to Yinlin anyway so... it doesn't hurt, right?

He actually does have a bit of a nuke I've hit 100k in tower with his initial enhanced ult before he dances😮💨

Wuwa is made from the mistakes made by Genshin, Tower of Fantasy and Legend of Neverland. Molded them up and made it perfect.

Improved my echoes a bit, went from 52 crit rate 240 crit damage 120 energy gen to 65/260/130 and the difference is night and day.

Jiyan has def grown on me. I recommend grabbing at least one copy of him.

I tested him damage compare to other teams and he still gives me shortest clear yet suprisingly.

150-160 is a bit rough as you'll need a mid-range ER substat on every echo. Combine that with a crit rate/damage roll, and it can get be really hard to find those pieces.

Jiyan is very f2p friendly, begginer, mobile friendly character bc of easy team choices, build and gameplay

And though Xiangli Yao dethroned him as my strongest dps
He's still one of my highest damage dealing chara, and i can usually kill each boss under 20s if The build is right(and Ult are up ofc)
I really want Jiyan but f I don't get him early, I'll get him on a 5-star Selector, if we'll have one in the future.

Jiyan is pure QoL. Mine is maxed all the way, as much as s0r1 can be without farming echoes for months, i also got Jinhsi, Changli and Xiangli equally built, and Danjin with godrolls on every echo. Jiyan is still the comfiest character to play and the more you grow in skill the better it gets. He's easy to play, but with good positioning and clean rotations he gives sooooo much performance. Team is Mortefi and Shorekeeper. I build a bit of concerto with them 3 swapping during cooldowns, then big ape and chain intros to get all the buffs going asap. 12k dmg per tick during his liberation
I do barely 8k dmg per tick with 2,3k and good c/cd ratio. How can I make my stronger? I don’t have r6 mortefi, but his weapon. But dude is weaker than my encore currently

@@ryuk.523 all maxed, there isn’t one thing I missed. That’s why I am so confused. I also learned his rotation. I do around 15% dmg of floor 4 boss with his full rotations. Were I do around 25% with encore …
I'm a week in this game and I got jiyan 2 times back to back then after I got his weapon with a 10 pull , ik this sounds insane but even I'm shocked (in total it was around 30-40 pulls )

need a 5 star mortefi sub dps that refunds energy and buffs heavy atk dmg so bad...
They could also buff attack speed, which is a stat that really doesn't benefit any other DPS at all (except maybe Calcharo, Encore, and HRover). Would be an amazing way to spice up his playstyle.

I was pulling for Mortefi cons on Jiyan rerun... I literally lost the 50/50, got Jiyan S1, lost the 50/50 again and only got 1 Mortefi, he is S4 now ._.
Jiyan is now my Main Dps cause he's R3S1. A lot stronger than my Jihnsi R0S1 and Yao R1S1 😂
I'm a Jiyan main without really reading a lot of his kit and his team comps but hey maybe you can add text to his combos like this character+ this skill etc. I would love to hear more about him.
I got screwed with Mortefi dupes after losing 2 5050 on Jiyans banner pulling for mortefi and ending up with S1 Jiyan in the process. Even after going for his dupes on Mortefi’s re run banners I still only ended up with S1 Mortefi. I am no longer pulling for Mortefi. Screw him. Not worth it when Camellya is after Jiyan’s banner.
Also at 13:00 you said Jiyan’s S2 gives him a 28% damage buff. That’s false it says specifically 28% atk increase which is not the same as damage increase. If it was damage increase his S2 would be a lot better. I originally was thinking to get his S2 but got S2 shorekeeper instead bc her 40% attack buff lasts longer and can be used on everyone.
I want dedicated support for Jiyan he is way too good. Easy to use.
My account is DEFINITELY positioned for Jiyan, and probably will take me over the edge to consistently complete the tower with full stars every rotation.

I have Vardant Summit and Mortefi S6, but not Jiyan himself. I'm at 65 pity too. Camellya is coming out Nov 14. If I get Jiyan now, I'm at risk of not getting Camellya. What's worse is that Camellya banner has 2 characters that I already have at S6. Having to pull close to another 70 pulls for Camellya banner would be very inefficient. And this is assuming I win the 50/50 on either banner.
Guys I lost my 50 50 to encore at 11 pulls. Then got jiyan in another 15. Then got his weapon in another 18 pulls. I decided to risk getting the new char after that so spent an additional 26 pulls. I just need to gain 26 wishes to gurantee next 5 star char

Very good. It's his 2nd best-in-slot and if you somehow get his S1, it synergizes very well with it.

Too bad I already invested in Jinshi with signature for a resource efficient toa cleaner. I just use Toaqi and Yuanwu. Jinshi is the only one I needed to heavily invest on to.
Getting a Jiyan for my account on it's current state wouldn't give me much value. Because I already have 2 other teams too.
So just as said on the vid, pulling him really is highly dependent on your account's state, or if you really just like Jiyan.
