Original Video: • Julian Casablancas+The...
Definitely my fav song from this band. It's a very deep song about human sadness. You can see in the vid, they show stuffs like substance abuse, addiction, domestic abuse, poverty, political violence, war and natural disaster. Also about Julian Casablancas personal stuff with his late father. Listening to the song while looking at the lyrics will give you a much better understanding. It's my go to song when I'm dealing with a lot shit in life.
Yeah it is quite a sad song and very powerful. I will listen to it with the words next time I watch it. Thankyou for watching 😊
The song at the end is called "Human Sadness Demo" that was written for the documentary "the unseen beauty" the story of an artist named Sam Adoquei. And ultimate used in making this song.
Julian Casablancas is a musical genius, he doesn't Just mumble words, but intentionally distorts them. And The Voidz are a true gem of a band. They can keep up and will push his artistic limits as well.
we need a kanye + julian casablancas collab
Yesss i was waiting for this. Note: at first youll not understand or know if u like It or hate It... But once u hear It two three times... Eventualy Will like you... Or not jejeje, Sorry for my bad english im not a speaker.
One thing that a strokes or julian's fan know Is that he always pronounces pretty bad live, AND changes the lyrics AND this video Is a live versión of the original song played live i mean but there Is a studio version in wich... U probably dont understand either, but sounds better.
@@pskdiux Hi Yeah i didn't understand him very well. I enjoyed the song just don't think i'm used to that style of music but like you said i will get used to it. Thankyou for watching :)
@@pskdiux i like this version ,its much2 better for me
Good video, if you react to basically all strokes/voids/Julian videos, im sure a lot of people would love that 😁. Also you should check out 11th dimension , Julian’s solo work if you haven’t already
I have a lot of those videos coming up soon...Thankyou for watching 😊
It's about his relationship with his dad
This song is soo underrated
That song is a fucking masterpiece.
Listen to the original track and it’s a lot less gritty, a bit easier to understand, as far as understanding Julian goes lol he’s pretty notorious for being difficult.
I prefer this one
Its a grower song.
In the coments of the music video is a good explication of the video
huh one of my favorite songs and I never knew their music video sounded like this lol
It's quite a lot different from their official audio.
The video still sounds nice but yeah.. The official audio is better for the lyrics and to a more general sense I suppose :)
this song is a fucking masterpiece, like everyone said. But you have to learn why it is. Seems like you will never get it, but if you ever do, congratulation.
I love this song!
Nice reaction

I cant seem to find it. is it a music video? Thankyou for watching :)
You don’t need to pause every thirty seconds to say nothing. You still got copyrighted
Hi I didn't get copyrighted for this video. If I don't pause it every 20 seconds then my videos get blocked in some countries. Thankyou for watching
its so annoying
Hello Becca!
Really good video! As a fan of the band and the song, I can say that this video encapsulates everything of what it means to be a fan of the Voidz:
No understanding a single word, being extremely confused, coming up with theories of what the song or video is about, then just accepting that the song moved you in a meaningful way and move on.
In short: What the video and song are mostly about is about being depressed, experiencing trauma, coping mechanisms. The part of the baby with their parents fighting might be an dramatization of what the singer experienced in real life.
