these walkers have begun to feel like sonic ocs for awhile, they are just a cool power attached to a vaguely defined character. Kaya was in my opinion the first symptom of this type of industrialized and superficial style of writing in mtg.
This is the only walker I have a problem with. She breaks the established rules of not being able to take other people across the planes. Shows up continuously like she has nothing better to do. She feels hella pushed to me, like why are you so pivotal in every story? Only she can do this, only she knows that... Just rubs me the wrong way and her character makes no sense to me.
In many cases, Kaya is presented as a foreign beign introduced into an already functional society (not unlike any other planeswalker), just an outsider without a concrete knowledge about the inner workings of the plane she finds herself into, but she acts as a chaotic agent which only function is to disrupt the stablished goverment of said planes, plunging entire kingdoms into disarray and political upheaval, and allowing tyrants to take places of power. Kaya herself does not suffer any repercussions for the damage she has caused, but instead she is rewarded with power and is almost always portrayed to be morally right. I hate Kaya
I have to say, your editing and story telling ability makes even the most intolerable of Planeswalker interesting to hear about. She really comes across as not as smart or cool as they try to make her out to be. TL;DR Great vid, bad walker 3 Tibalts out of 10. Edit: Also, Tibalt using literal trolls to fight her is a bit poetic and hilarious.
I like to have a lore video but your reading voice makes it hard to listen to. I recommend using a more casual voice. Your editing and storytelling are good though
I tend to find when I’m not taking it slow and steady I get off-tangent even for scripted videos, lose breath, have difficulty pronouncing stuff, etc. For my lore videos, at least, I want to be slow and careful. Thank you for the feedback however.
kaya isn't bad planeswalker, but she works better as a secondary character instead of a prinicpal one but since her appereance in ravnica force her into a prinicipal character (something that is seen more frecuently with other planeswalkers, as example shaeeli, that she fits better as a secondary character [as it happened on kaladesh]) and the necesity to turn her into a principal character is probably the reason why she is turning annoying for some people that enjoy lore, more knowing that she had appear on a conspiracy set, and other planeswalkers from those set were wasted (like dack fayden, who is a prinicipal character and he deserve like 4 or more cards, and not an anticlimatic dead thanks to a showrunner that was hired for a foolish corporation) or forgotten (as diaretti that he had appear first on edh 2014, he returned to conspiracy ll and he still forgotten), to resume, kaya isnt a bad planeswalker, but the bad decisions forthe writters give her more relevance that she already had.

You are not wrong she is one of the worst planeswalkers. She has to much power and doesn't really struggle. She is basically a Mary sue

Kaya is waifu on looks but back story is kinda lame.
I was bored with her story before the video was half over.
