I 'rescue' any paint that gets spun or tilted off by scraping it off of the table, straining it and saving it to use as a base coat for future pours. Very little waste!

I've got a friend over who is BEGGING me to do a painting (he likes watching and is amazed at what the paints can do) and I was looking for inspiration.
I swear TH-cam reads minds, as after I told him I would figure something out VOILA! Here's Nate with another awesome video! I may have to attempt this!
I'm still a baby when it comes to acrylic pouring (I've only done 14 paintings so far) and I'm working on a really tight budget so I don't have floetrol or polycrylic or anything like that. I'm working with just glue and water right now. I can't wait until I can afford those things so I can try to emulate the different techniques.

Thanks so much Phoenix! I often make a custom mix for my pouring medium - 2 parts US Floetrol, 1 part glue and 1 part gloss varnish. You might give that a try when you are ready to 'level up.' But lots of artists use just glue and water and get great results - keep practicing and you'll get there!

Allllrighty then. Well I don't know about leaves, but it reminds me more of a cherry blossom tree. I think it came out really cute. Much different than what you usually paint. Love the colors. 😊 BTW!! I'm curious as to what "Train" your talking about. Do you mean The Crazy Train? I'm a member of that group. Great group of people on that train.
