Damn, from Sepang to MIMC. Your car control is crazy. Mad respect for being able to throw a front-wheel drive car off its balance and then stabilize it slide after slide. Looking forward to more stuff from you.
Thank you! It might be due to the worn out tires and it may also be due to the tire pressure I was running. Controlling it feels natural due to how I set the car up. Even so, it’s a learning experience and I’m thrilled to expand my time attack experience to both dry and wet conditions. 🙇🏻♂️✨
Great car control and wet lines especially for your first time on the track. Mad respect on your skills and honestly I'm certain you'd have a strong chance at being in the top 3 or even first given better track conditions.
We should do more wet training and discuss on the setup + ideal lines soon. Definitely could shave off more time if we bounce ideas between each other. Let's see if I can get a top 3 podium finish before the year ends!
⏱ Hot lap begins at 7:01 For a more fun and interactive content, you may check out the vlog + montage + highlight video here where I showcased my adventure and some behind the scenes stuff of this event here. th-cam.com/video/C2FUrw5Ny6k/w-d-xo.html
I coated my windshield (and other windows) with water-repellant coating. I knew it was going to be a rainy day and racing with only the wipers is not ideal hence the extra precaution to coat the glasses. It’s never too late to try! Feel free to reach out to me when you’ve made all the preparations to hit the circuit for the first time.
It's so satisfying to see water slide off effortlessly from your windshield XD On a side note, is it just me or was it actually difficult to get your car up to speed? Or were you holding back from flooring it due to the nature of the track at the time?
A million thanks to the windshield coating I did the night before the event! The smaller water build-ups and wet track made me have mini wheelspins here and there. On the straights, I can barely hit the good spot of the 3rd gear. I’m sure if it’s dry I can get an extra 5-10km/h on the longest straight of the circuit before T1. Definitely was on throttle hard though (but I might modulate my pedal more the next time around).
Thank you! Hahaha, betul tu! Tengok video 4-5 tahun lepas pun macam tak banyak beza dengan condition sekarang. Hari event ni pula memang hujan dari awal pagi sampai ke lewat petang. Nak tak nak, terpaksa attack macam rally stage 😂

jalan basah tp hati kering 🔥
Lama preparation kereta dan dari jauh datang event. Hujan lebat pun all out je baru worth it 😁
Makes me wanna go do a track day. Do you put any anti-fog on the windshield?

Terbaikkk 🙌🏼🙌🏼😍
Second & Third Lap dah nampak line mana yang cun, timing terus makin rendah dan rendah. Great driver 🙌🏼
Thanks Ammar! InsyaAllah ada rezeki akan return to MIMC again untuk create new personal best. Lepas ni aim untuk be top 3 in class pula. 🙇🏻♂️
terbaik handling bro. mimc kena fix la air lopak tu, nasib circuit kecik, kalau besar mau hydroplanning merata 😂
