excellent documentary incredible man
What a wonderful documentary... an incredible pilot in his times... when Nazism regimes during 1936 Olympic occasions introduced Nazism party flag instead Germany patriotic flag( red, white black colors )?...particularly proclaimed he sacrificed Germany 🇩🇪 severely for the sake of Nazism party ideology that is totalitarian regimes always does...Churchill had lion's 🦁 attitude while British strength was not in same level ..
It is unfortunate that the story doesn't say how he was saved from the carrier sinking.
True legend ❤
the gentle laborer shall no longer suffer
That landing @45:00 was rather impressive.
👍👍
Like the channel, but way too many mid-roll ads. More than cable TV.
Strange to seem Eric Brown in a RAF uniform considering he was in the Royal Navy not the RAF
He was in the RAF until he switched to the Royal Navy in 1940.
anyone ELSE notice the picture of the Spitfire in the Avatar has been rotated 180 degrees ?!!
Please change "Navel" to Naval!
I didn't view the video; however, British Test Pilots (just aftet WWII) would PURPOSELY hit max speed & dive to approach supersonic speeds. The TIPs of the conventional square wing WOULD reach near supersonic speed Before the rest of the wing. The tips would begin to shake violently. It took much risk & some deaths before concluding a Swept back or Delta Wing was NECESSARY.
He says Captain but I know he was promoted to Commander later in his career. I wonder why he says Captain ?
what would he think of AI drones
censor stories strikes AGAIN!!!
