I have a Caribbean Joe watch that my sister bought for me at Kohls for $30. It says it’s a Singapore Movement. All I know is that one watch has some badass lume and has out lasted 2 Swiss quatrz watches that I own. It’s still keeps on ticking… Loudly 😂 I love it.
I really like this watch, i think both the dials look good but I think I prefer the white one as it's just a little more elegant. Vario do great straps too, a bit pricey I agree but really good quality. Thanks for another great video 👍
Interesting! For me the dressy side would be the white dial, but the point about the screws is so true. It reminds me a lot of the regular JLC reverso. This is definitely on my shortlist next.
I'm wearing my cream and orange 1918 Trench Medic with shrapnel protector on a camel bund button strap right now. It's an absolutely delightful and well spec'd watch, with a flawless enamel dial, gorgeous double dome sapphire crystal, a solid (and 'correct' NH38) Seiko movement, has impressive material construction with lovely finishing and excellent attention to all the details, with a design style that you practically can't find from any other brand, all at a super competitive price. The ONLY thing I'd change if I could, would be moving the crown from the 4.5h position to the traditional 3h position, but I understand why it is where it is, and I accept that as one of the quirks of their brand's unique design language. I've also got a number of their straps on other watches, and all of them are super quality, not to mention that the travel cases their watches come with, their strap organizer rolls, and even their key chains are great! I'm looking forward to their upcoming 1944 A11 and 1918 Pilot lines, as well as eagerly awaiting more concrete news on the release of a new edition of their Navi jump hour that they told me was in the works, with plans to hopefully buy each of them. Vario is a great brand, with great products and service, run by great people. They've got awesome engagement as a company, impressive responsiveness, and are always available to help out, offer information, and answer questions. I'm a big fan.
From the specs onpaper perspective - yes. Vesra is a thick watch. But when you strap it to your wrist - you don’t feel that. My best acquisition this year so far 😁
The bambino is 11.5mm thick, and that's widely considered as the best affordable dress watch. I do agree, it should be thinner for a dress watch. But let's be fair here
The Trench Watch, and especially the cream and orange version of the Trench Medic is arguably my favorite watch ever

Honestly Rik, the bands are probably the best I've tried. That red leather is soooo good. I'll be picking up some myself for my other watches
