Jenn, if you want HONEST FEEDBACK, not loving this series. Would have been more dynamic with a "truth or dare" style element. The rules are too subtle or hard to remember to do. Just a thought . Take it or leave it, still love ya!

Same! I don't like the rules (and they apparently are different episode to episode!) and I just feel like it's a tiny bit awkward to have this sort of setting. Makes me slightly uncomfy watching it. To me it's a little like watching "friends" (really more like acquaintances) bump into each other and have to go through all the usual polite niceties.
I actually like the series but I do agree with your idea on the rules part.
I hate the rules and the ad placement is so awkward and obvious!!!!
i agree the rules are a bit awkward -- especially when people keep forgetting lol -- but i think it's "3 simple rules" since the series is a collab/spon with simple skincare. it probably wasn't the easiest concept to come up with, so kudos to jenn for at least trying to make it a bit different each time (instead of just, idk, posting several videos of her just cleaning her face with simple skincare? i mean i'd still watch them lol but you know)

Hey Jenn i really love that collab, but the advertisement was a bit to much for me. I don't know if it's because i'm european and the advertisement here isn't that much into your face. I understand that you're just doing your job and i have no problem with watching an ad video from you, but i would like it more, if the ad part in the video would be a bit more low-key. Sending you lots of love from Germany
Laaaalala11 : She states the Ad in her videos and puts it in her Description Box because by American Laws, if she doesn't clearify well (verbally or nonverbally) she can get into legal trouble. So, to protect herself from any future lawsuit, she states them :D
Hopefully that helps you understand why she does it :D lol
I don't think the critique was about saying it's an ad but rather the amount of time they go "such a good product".

i agree! i feel like the product kept getting pushed over and over again and made the "game" seem forced. it almost felt like they purposely "messed up" their makeup in order to plug the product :/ it just didn't feel like genuine interactions. maybe it would be better if they had a counter pop up for the game so that way the audience can actually feel like the rules are in place? otherwise everything gets lost and doesn't make sense all in one video.

I don't think they are right now, but if you look at their website it says that their parent company Unilever, which is one of the biggest corporations conducting animal testing for cosmetics and cleaning products, is working on alternatives to animal testing
Becca Laurel that's interesting. There are already alternative methods that exist. I believe they aren't cruelty free because Unilever products are sold in China and any company that sells in China is required by law to test their products on animals. They won't be cruelty free unless they pull out of the Chinese market or China changes their animal testing law.
Yes exactly, but there is also a bill going through the US system that may make animal testing illegal, so they would be forced to make a choice then if they would rather pull out of the Chinese market or exclusively sell to China because their policies wouldn't be legal here
I don't know if it's just me, but this collab duo doesn't really match... It's looking at two different worlds. I love them both but idk I felt weirded out
