Good to see you! I was wondering where you went. I was a home care nurse for about 12 years.. loved it but am now on the non clinical side. Love you refresh line up! ❤

Thank you, life has been very busy this year and I have gotten off track. Definitely trying to get back at it! How do you like the non-clinical side? Hopefully, it offers some good work/life balance!

I've switched the EC Daily Duo binder. I love the binder, and the pages are working better for me.

My fave used 2B the horizontal layout. But I recently discovered that I like the lined vertical.HP is my fave planner,bc they just get me.But I do have others. Not opposed to others by any means.I have like 4 EC.A Heather Kell planner one or two.But as of right not I’m really loving the vertical lined planner.I do watch this one lady on TH-cam & she uses an hourly. So I’m thinking of going N2 the deep & maybe checking out the hourly.Loved your video,& thx for sharing.

I live an hourly layout! It is really helpful for time blocking and (for me) recognizing how much time I actually have in a day and keeps my schedule more realistic.

So glad I found your channel, trying out my mini, moving from passport tn. I have a family care situation n found my digital planning wasn’t ideal, I felt that when with Dr appts, specialists etc not ideal to pullout phone to take notes, seemed I wasn’t paying attention or something, to looker on-ers. But I love your mini set up. What I did was I removed my rings from a Moterm personal lux cover n fit a mini in it snug but perfect.
Tons tons tons of pockets n lil hide spaces for stickies etc. so no need for “folders & snap in pockets” Love it’s still good to throw in my mom’s meds bag when I’m running to Dr appts etc.
Side note… I have tons of stuff I have to keep up with, as example, her sugar levels, meals (theyre checking her protein for kidney specialist), her blood pressures, other sleep apnea specialist, meds, etc. funny how the specialist don’t really exchange info with her normal health care provider, so if you have a simple idea to organize those with layouts and or inserts, I’m so lost lol 😂 thanks in advance to you or any of your subs.

Oh wow, first of all I’m sorry for my late response. Second of all hats off to you for taking care of a family member because I know from personal and professional experinece how mentally and physically exhausting that can be.
I would say as a provider when you’re leaving the specialist offices, ask them to fax over their notes and lab work to, PCP. Hopefully that’ll help so the PCP has all the information. Second, I think that maybe a dashboard or a horizontal layout could be best. If you have one Planner for your family member then you can write their appointments on the monthly and then on the weekly portion, you can write any pertinent notes about the visit. You can also use the perpetual calendar at the front to keep track of appointments, important procedures, and or medication changes or new meds so when you open it, you can look at it all at once. Also, I highly suggest keeping a medication list of all prescription and non-prescription medications. You could print it and punch it and have a separate place in the back where that lives and that’s better to do on a computer and print out and punch it because then you can easily change it if a medication is added or dosage changed. Also, I think if you got a skinny note sheet and popped it into the month, you could use that to write down anything you need to follow up on so maybe you need to go back to get bloodwork or you have to send an email to a different specialist, you can easily keep track.
Also, While I am a paper planner, I will say my mom does a lot for my grandma. She’s her medical power of attorney. She has an iPhone and in her notes app has kept all my grandma’s information. She has copies of her Medicare card, dates she’s fallen and if she had an injury, medication list, and dates medication(s) have changed and honestly it is the most useful thing because when she goes on vacation and I take care of my grandma. She has just shared her notes with me so I have access to all my grandmas information. So I feel like you could take a paper planner into appointments to jot down notes and then also organize it in the notes app in your phone as well. Best of luck!

@@FakeItTilYaMakeIt thank you so much for the great advise! Yea I’m going to have to combine digital & planner in hand. I’ve so found myself “not adapting” well to the paper in hand. Notes in the iPhone is sooooo much easier, lord help me if my technology ever fails 😂 I found, or finding should I say that using that online lab results app that doctors use here in Texas makes it easy to print results from there then I put that in a binder with page protectors, but I take a quick PDF scan thing n save in my phone gallery. I did consolidate my mini to one section for current Dr notes for appts. But I also explained to her doctors that I have pics in my gallery of her current meds, current level history, current diet history, etc that I use like 5 perpetual calendars (one for each thing to track) for all able to see at a glance. They seemed to appreciate that. They only have to review which applies to them. It also made it easier that I don’t have to tote a huge meds box around like I’m moving outta state 😂🤣😂😂
It’s a learning process I assure you lol. I so very much appreciate your advice. I’m going to see about seeing if the drs can do their notes as you suggested. I think I have a future as a court reporter as fast as I’ve learned how to write in appts lol. No worries about the late response, life is busy 😊 have a blessed day and thank you again so so much.
