- World Leaders Back Ukraine During Peace Summit, Russia Not Taking Part
World leaders meet for Ukraine Peace Summit in Switzerland. The two-day summit in Buergenstock, attended by leaders and officials from more than 90 countries, will conclude on June 16. The talks are focussed on broader concerns like food and nuclear security. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky voiced hope for garnering a peace agreement. He added that agreements from the summit will be a part of the peacemaking process. US Vice President Kamala Harris vowed $1.5 billion in humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Most attendees voiced strong support for Ukraine, demanding “just peace”. UK PM Rishi Sunak hailed the "very strong turnout" at the summit which was shunned by China and dismissed as a waste of time by Russia.

Każdy ma już swoje zdanie na ten temat. To co u nas jest wmawiane zwykłym obywatelom przez media i nasz rząd, jest całkiem inne od tego co naprawdę się dzieje. Nasz rząd to wariaci którzy chcą wepchnąć Polskę do wojny. Brakuje im tylko przyzwolenia społecznego. A my zwykli Polacy żadnej wojny nie chcemy i nigdy na to nie pozwolimy. Ale nasi politycy i media nie ustają w swoich wysiłkach i ogłupiają społeczeństwo. Mam wrażenie że chcą nas zwykłych ludzi pokłócić samych ze sobą a najlepiej z całym światem..

First of all how is it successful, half of the UN countries were present however there was no consensus. As per the Netherlands PM, 15 UN general advisors were present, if so then why can't they claim it is a UN Summit? If Italy and Germany can't trust the Russian Ceasefire, it is the same with Russia when West & Ukraine violated both MInsk 1 & 2 agreements. This was nothing but more taxes for the common man of EU & its allies for a war which could end if they were serious.
Delegates went there to eat free food, free drink, nice hotels, free travel. Joke of a meeting.

Just because 90 countries participated does not mean they are on the side of Ukraine, they are on the side of peace. If it had been Russia that organized this summit, they would still have participated anyway because they want peace. It is a specifically Western mentality to believe that participating means you are against the other party. Westerners must understand that they no longer have a monopoly even if it is really hard for them to accept.
