I was focusing more on the dystopian side of the cyberpunk world, and I wanted to create the right amount of atmosphere for that, so I came up with the intro. Then I put the focus on the characters depicted in the painting. They met and were having some emotional moments. Then I moved on to the male’s protagonist motorcycle. I wanted the final scene for them to ride together and escape from something dangerous. So I came up with the classic cyberpunk bass lead phrygian melody, and the very fast liquid DNB to picture it. In my perspective, I wanted to create the right world first then I pictured the things that would happen in that world, so romance now becomes a very relative thing opposed to death and cyber-psychos. I know picturing death and cyber-psychos are more like heavy synthwave types of groove with nasty heavy bass lead. So I just did the opposite of that.
