Bad ass man! Love the dash. I remember one of your earlier videos showing it. I’m interested on how exactly you made it. I have an 88 K5 4x4 and would like to put a dash like yours in. Awesome job, keep up the good work!👍🏻

Thank you!!!! It came out pretty freaking good… there is a few things I would of done differently, but I like it. We will see how it holds up to some serious off road adventures!!! Mmmm let me look to see what video’s I have of it, maybe I can mock something together. It was really trial and error until I got it right. I know there is a company out there that makes one. Thanks for watching and for the awesome comment!!!!

Yeah, I’m really interested. Ever since I saw your dash video I’ve put some aluminum sheets away at work for when I’m ready to take it on. When you get the chance I’d like to know what you would have had done different so I can learn from it. Thanks for responding. Hope you have a good weekend. Stay safe!

    Some thoughts I'd had:
For the passenger side dash is to make a simple skinny glove box [you never know if someone will need to put their BOB at their feet or ammo cans in the floorboard],
then to leave space for a Tough Book swivel mount. The tough book serves two purposes.
    1. When road or topo maps are downloaded your passenger can navigate.
    2. When you start getting into prepper comms you can use said ToughBook to interface with your Radios like TechPrepper does. Using ToughPads to link with his radios to send text and email format messages over shortwave.
Highly recommend getting at LEAST the next size up [~10lbs] fire Extinguisher. My dad had an '86 K5s Transmission catch the truck on fire during a road trip bc he only had a little Extinguisher. He always carried a 20lb Extinguisher after that

Hells yeah!!! Freaking love it... Yes the grab bar underneath would have the molle panel with magazines, and equipment. Love the tough book swivel mount!! I will be looking into that for sure... Thanks for the idea's!!!! And for watching

You really need to hook the lights in the punisher skull to the throttle

You can still insulate it over the rhino lining. A horse stall mat would probably work in the back, might even work up front too.. should cut the road noise and hold some heat in.
Nice looking build!! Makes me miss the Blazer I had..

Yeah, I thought about redoing the interior and laying over the insulation, but I thought what the hell, no need in it for what I am doing. Having fun.. but yeah the Mats would decrease the noise for sure. Thanks!!! It has been a fun build, been about 12-13 years… ha ha ha ha ha

Nice build. Has anyone seen a 70-93 k5 or burban on a newer frame.

Thanks man!! Mmmmm I haven’t seen on, well I take that back, I have seen a burban on a F-350 frame with a 7.3. But that was like pro done.
