Dear Md. Monirul Islam, Thank you very much for your kind words and support in telling others about the free Excel Education that I provide to the world : ) Sincerely, Mike excelisfun Girvin
This was great for explaining and using VLookup. I’ve tried and failed a number of times at understanding it. I love that you reinforce many of the things we learn throughout the lesson and in subsequent lessons. However, in the homework section, which I’d nailed in every lesson until I got to the very last one in this class when you mention about what to return if the cell is blank. I simply couldn’t remember how to use isblank and ifna as you kind of glossed over it in the previous lesson and didn’t show how to use it with vlookup, so this was a really tough one. In the end, I had to keep pressing F2 on the answers page. Now that I have done it a few times, I have a sheet at work that I can test it on multiple times for practice. I’m sure it’ll became second nature. I’ve learned so much from these lessons and hugely appreciate that they’re free. Knowledge is power.

First of all, a big thank you for all this content, you're doing a life-saving and a time-saving job :) I was wondering in the 4th example, if bonus commission should be related to the wage of each employee. I mean, the logic is the same, we should find out if employees achieve to sale 10.000 or more to get a bonus, but the actual amount of the bonus shouldn't be related with a column named "wages" instead of sales? e.g. employee has a wage of 3000$ per month, if he sales 14.000, he should have taken a bonus of 1%, i.e. 30$. I would like vlookup to gather for instance the amount, payment date, bank ref, customer ref from Workbook A and find all these values and populate them on Worbook B in specific cells that need to be completed with the same info.
I hope this makes sense. Can V-lookup do this? Thanks a million.
