Apostle Paul finalized it in Ephesians 4:5 that there is one Lord,one faith and one baptism that means that the baptism of the holy spirit is the greatest of all 🙌... John only baptized with water unto repentance but Jesus' baptism after His death and resurrection is the final baptism and that's when the new testament began from
Replying to you for sitting . The same Paul in acts 19 Vs 2 -6. Read it got the Christians in Corinthians baptized and lay hands on them to filled with the holy spirit. Let not use our own ideology to interpret scripture.

Yes,I will also baptize people by water too just to fulfil all righteousness but they must first have the real one and understand the legacy in it
For babes,water baptism always helps in the understanding of being buried with Christ and ressurecting,since most people are babes in understanding at birth. lik Dr Creflor said, water baptism is an open declaration of your faith.

Jesus said to the man on the cross next to him "today you will be with me in paradise". (Luke Chapter 23 Verse 43). Had this man been water baptized???
Water baptism happens because someone has been saved. Water baptism doesn't save.
The recent coronation happened because Charles is now the King. The coronation didn't make Charles the King. Charles became the King when his mother - Queen Elizabeth the Second - died.

1 Peter 3 : 20 - 21 says that only 8 people were saved from drowning in the terrible flood and that *Water* is a picture of baptism, which now saves you, not by removing dirt from your body, but as a *response* to God from a clean conscience. It is effective because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
This speaks to why it's a typology of the substance..water typifies The word of God. So when you here the word of God,it washes you, that's the substance not literally water...so the physical water baptism is just a ritual to help grab the substance. The 8 people that were in the ark..did they enter the water? No but they were saved by listening to the word to build the ark and enter.
There is Only one way to Savaltion - Jesus.
I am the Way. No 4 ways to salvation.
Only Jesus has the power to save!
There is salvation in no one else! And in Nothing else.
Water baptism wheher in a swimming, river and red sea cannot save anyone.

Even the Peter has already warned that no man forbid water baptism even though they receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, here read
Acts 10:47-48 KJV
Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? [48] And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

Hm, in this teaching,it seems to me that anywhere baptism is written in the Bible..we assume it water baptism....there are millions of people who did water baptism and are still in their sin and sins..water baptism is not important to salvation.... salvation is of Jesus work only...the thief at the right hand side of Jesus did not baptize..John the Baptist himself, who baptized him?...let's move to the substance of baptism.. Christ is the substance of baptism.water baptism was a shadow pointing the Christ and His baptism..water is a typology for Spirit..John said I indeed baptized with water but He that shall come before me will baptize you with the Holyghost..you see that baptism was also used for Holyghost...pls the ministry of John the Baptist has ended..we are in the real thing which is Christ...but if you want to do water baptism, just do it in the knowledge that you died and ressurected with Christ....and don't think you have received the real deal....the real baptism is dwelling in the word of Christ by the Holyghost. I don't know why we are emphasizing water baptism as if it as important as Christ baptism...a man can repent without water baptism. And a man can do water baptism and yet to repent of sin...Those scriptures you sited in act of apostles on baptism where the beginning church and where babies...read towards the end it was not emphasised anymore....let focus on the substance Christ..preach Christ to people.....only Christ...don't preach yourself or how you used God to perform your ministry...preach Christ death burial and ressurection....that is our real work as disciples of Christ... preach Christ, preach Christ....

Now let do a little exegesis.
The 6 foundamental principles.
Though you didn't state the text. Heb CHP 6 Vs 1-2
1.repentance from dead works
2. Faith towards God
3.doctrine of baptism (note not water baptism)
4.laying of hand
5. Ressurection of the dead
6. Eternal judgment.
Note verse one, let us move unto perfection.These are for babes in Christ..the principles helps them build good foundation in understanding..note in understanding bcs understanding brings power to the mind..not laying again these 6 things. I.e these six things, after you have come unto the understanding of it real meaning. It simply referring to understanding each concept of each foundations,because these six things are pointer to the real substance. Christ that is in you

Doctrine of baptism means immersion into the body of Christ. So the water type John the Baptist displayed was a typology of what Christ will baptize you with.John said..I indeed baptized you with water,but the one after me will baptize you with fire.so If Christ does not baptize you with the word and fire and you just had water baptism,you only did a swimming exercise. Where as, you can be baptized with Fire without water baptism (the thief on the cross).
We have more than 3 different type of baptism in the Bible and Water baptism speaks to the understanding of repentance from dead works, doctrine of baptism,faith towards God and ressurection of the dead. If you so much love water baptism make sure you do it in faith that.
1. You have repent from your dead works i.e your own righteousness,
2.you have faith in Christ death, burial and resurrection
3. You're baptized unto Christ,not John the Baptist.
4.that you died with Christ and rose again with him.
These are the major understanding you must have.
Alot of believers do water baptism but understanding still darkened..they only had a swimming exercise.
Every where you see baptism in the Bible doesn't necessarily mean water baptism.

Read Matthew down to acts in fact add down to 1 pet 3 v 18 down to 22
You will not find one passage where someone was converted and wasn't baptised in WATER!
To refuse water baptism is to disobey a direct command of the Lord
You will still retain your new birth if you are truly converted
But that disobedience would cost you entry into his Kingdom at his coming
End of story
Go back and read your New Testament again and stop this emptiness and near wickedness of teaching disobedience to God
