i see no point doing lava golem after Crystal Isles underwater tunnels, since you have a major number of loot crates and less chance of getting clapped
ARK Pvp is unfortunately, like any other game with PvP let it be Rust, Dayz standalone or what ever you name it; filled with bug abusers and cheaters who are never getting banned. PvP aspect of any game has been ruined long time ago but these recent years it truly has blown out of hands.

they deal % dmg so theres no difference. You take more damage but you have more hp so yeah

Why do you get 1 trapped by a fire wyvern at 700 hp?
its not really 1 tap morel like 2 or 3. Basically Crystal Wyverns, fires, do damage based on %. The more health you have, the more damage it deals.
