Damn Lattafa knockin these out like the ‘No limit ‘Albums back in the 90s 😂
Al Areeq Silver checks all the boxes for what I am looking for.
Thanks for reviewing it,
Thanks for watching Prep 👍
I'm always excited to watch when the review is on Lattafa Pride perfumes.
Thanks John 👍
Thanks for the review. Love how you describe the scent. Gave a great picture of what to expect
Thanks Dida!
I bought this perfume. ...And its scent is very, very dark to me. So dark that I imagine Death perfumed with it! I LOVE THIS SCENT!
This one was weird. The vibe is different.I like it now however first sniff was shoker..Weirdly addictive. Not massapealing.Blind buy for me.Great with leather jacket.More for experienced nose..imo. You described it very well
Hey PC. This one sounds interesting. I will have to add it to the list. Thanks again for the video.
Appreciate you dropping by as always UCFS 👍 Have an awesome rest of your week
Lattafa colognes come in this fancy box they look like they belong in a museum and are nice looking. I have to buy Lattafa n put it in my collection. one thing I won't do is use it in the gym. Thanks for the video. Have a blessed day take care
Thanks for watching William 👍
Hello Post colone, very nice review ! I'm really into leather scents at the moment and I'm currently strugling between this Al Areeq Silver and the other Lattafa Qaa'ed Al Shabaab (that you've also reviwed)... What are the main differences between them and which one of them you like best in your personal opinion ? Thanks a lot and all the best !
Can you try Al Qiam Silver (Bvlgari Tyger)
This fragrance is really similar to Black Incense Malaki from Chohpard
This fragrance is my favorite from the pride line but it's not a safe blind buy so make sure you guys get some samples before pulling the trigger
For 20 euros that I found it I don't mind a blind buy😂
Just ordered it from Amazon. Can't wait.
Notes of Apple, Spices & leather? That sounds intriguing to me. I appreciate it when you mention when, where & time of year. What sucks for me is I live in a warm area, and some scents don't hold up well.
Yeah environment is important to consider. I get everything from extreme cold to hot so I have something for any time of year and weather condition
Great review. keep up the great content. Do you have lattafa oud for glory?
I do. Also amethyst. Both good
@@PostCologne do you have a review on it?
@John Khem I have one on amethyst and oud for glory was in my 7 cheap middle eastern winter fragrances video
@@PostCologne oh ok. Are you going to do a review on oud for glory?
@John Khem at some point yes, have a few others I want to cover first though
Got this for free as part of a bundle. Gace it one spray and i feel like ive been huffing paint. Does it get better?
Thanks for the info. I put this on my list of frags to check out next fall. I bought way too many fall/winters this year so i don't have a slot in my rotation before spring time hits. Fragrancebuy's fault for "forcing" me to get 5 at a time for free shipping😅😅
I feel you shayne, that 5 bottle free shipping gets me every time :)
I’ve never tried middle eastern fragrances. What would you suggest (I’m in my mid 40’s) office fragrance mass pleasing?
*for a Lattafa
Thanks for the review. I find this somewhat similar to Gucci Guilty Absolute. I don't find Al Areeq Silver as good, but it's in the same ballpark. I compared them both on each hand and I found a little more sweetness in the Gucci, which I didn't notice until this smell test.
Hello there ! I also adore Gucci Guilty Absolute man... for real... I'm considering buying this Al Areeq Silver basically for it's "rugged leather" character. But to honest that "apple sweetness note" mentioned several times in this review (and in another ones) really concerns me a lot... How do you feel about this fragrance after an year ? Do you think this is as close bold as GGA or it goes more to "mass appealing" due to it's "spice/sweet" nuances...?? I'm almost skipping this one and going to Lattafa Qaa'ed Al Shabaab instead because that damn apple... Thanks a lot and all the best !
It sounds like a twist on Layton. Is it? EDIT: I went ahead and bought it. It's as if Hugo Boss The scent had a middle eastern exclusive. It's basically the scent with added notes of incense, worn leather and oud. Not as challenging as I thought it would be.
I have four backups 😁 (underrated)
C'è voluto un pochino per capirlo ma ora mi piace questo profumo.Sicuramente particolare
I'm definitely wearing this to the office with 10+ sprays. If it keeps those annoying coworkers at bay, I'm down.
Lol, that would do it I think. Unless they realllly like it, then you're screwed.
@@PostCologne plan did not go according to plan. Coworkers love and in matter of fact, I was invited to Becky's wine & cheese party. Damn it!!!!
Lol
Hi I often find myself watching your videos although I don't believe in having a huge collection I use Versace Dylan Blue and Chopard Incense Malaki or Bvlgari Man Orient and PDM Layton decants throughout the year wanted to test L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme Issey Miyake, Jaipur Homme Bousheron and Zino Davidoff for spring what do you say?
Swiss Arabian Shumoukh Al Ghutra is an awesome leather scent if you haven’t tried it!
Have that one bookmarked 👍
I do agree. it is indeed awesome and very unique
Amber and Leather is mild? I have it and its one of my strongest :)
Can you do a comparison between this one and the gold one? Also a comparison with similar perfumes. I feel this one might suit me better but I'm afraid its just too similar to gucci guilty absolute.
Is this is a clone for Meydan from The spirit of dubai?
Would love to see you do a review of Al Areeq Gold. Heard that one’s solid too with great longevity.
Coming soon 👍
If you like alberto morillas dark creations you should have this one.
Man, this sounds really interesting but I'm wary of that apple-y spicy vibe because a lot of the time to me I get this unbearable urinal puck vibe like I do with PdM's Carlisle. It's frustrating too because in the case of Carlisle I love the drydown but I can't deal with the opening, lol. I'm going to try to sample this thing...
Sample first if you can. Not for everyone
Is it similar to maahir black edition ? Would it be redundant to have both ?
No this is a very leather forward fragrance. Much different in my opinion
Hey brother. I can’t get the 5 off to work for perfumeonline.
It should open a prompt to enter your email address to claim your code. Takes a minute to load, but I just tested the link and it is working.
Are you having trouble getting the code or using a code? It only gives a discount once per email address
@@PostCologneI got it to work. Thanks man. I’ve been waiting for this one to drop in price. Just grabbed a bottle so I don’t have to spray light with the 20 ml sample I had.
Hi, have you tried Kismet Moscow yet?
In my cart, waiting for a restock of a couple fragrances 👍
I really like that color , but not my style of fragrance, don't like dirty leather. You should to consider video when you choose top from pride line collection, i think you almost got them all already 🤣
Getting close. Still have a handful left to get
How long does it last
Lot of days 👍
Al Areeq is really nice for mature guy. Not for the young one. I love the scents. But some ppl hate it.
Still waiting for your review on Swiss Arabian Shawq
Does it smell like qaaed al shabab?
No it just smells like a forest fire. I have it & dislike it
@@kareem3253 So you like Al Shabbab best...?? Al Areeq Silver is a much more refined and niche oriented fragrance... If this one was bottled in an Amouage bottle would make an absolute hype into the fragrance "2 neuron community"... I bet my 2 balls on this...
Hi Post! I came to this review a bit too late, would you say this could suit a 25 yo guy?
Whenever I hear a reviewer say the word “interesting” four or five times it always makes me wonder if they are trying to be nice.
With the notes you listed, does it have any similarities to Leighton Exclusif?
What fragrance they're trying to clone with this one, does anybody have a clue?
I'm curiuos too. It may well be their own thing similar to Afnan's Tribute Blue
i can smell three perfumes when ( oud wood, black incense malaki, the voice of snake ) its not straight clone of those three but if you have them you will pick them up when you smell it.
I literally just smell creosote - I bought a 10 ml sample, sprayed it on and smelled like a beastly, tar covered railroad tie. Seriously. I can’t even pick up the bottle - I have to wash my hands or I’ll smell like a fresh new telephone pole for hours. Great projection, though - people will smell you coming for HOURS of tarry projection.
That sounds like exactly what I am looking for
Smells harsh. Like formaldehyde.
Al Areeq Silver = Chopard Black Incense
Al Areeq Silver = Spirit of Dubai - Meydan
