Yo lo escuche álla por finales de los 90's con su banda La catrina. Nunca supé por qué se desintegraron y recien me encuentro que continua muy activo. Se le extraña mucho en la escena mexicana.
De mis conciertos de NPR favorito... Y de mis músicos favoritos, he tenido el gusto de verlo en vivo en CDMX y en NYC y sus conciertos son una fiesta! Súper recomendables :) Espero saque un nuevo album en los siguientes años y que haga mas conciertos en México :)
Escucho su estilo musical y no puedo evitar pensar en Los Lobos y Calexico, por ejemplo. Además su lírica es casi cinematográfica. Buenísima la música también de Rana con el grupo La Catrina.
This was unlike anything I've heard before. Had me laughing right away with its quirky lyrics. Love how all the instruments sound together. Overall, glad to have stumbled upon this.

@dellhater He used to have a band here in Mexico named La Catrina. Unfortunately the response from the public was not good and the band, well, disbanded.
@hoptap37 I know, but maybe you should of responded to the person I responded to. I find nothing wrong with his Spanish. He sounds like a Mexican, which he is.
