Fun game, i just bought it recently. Would be nice if there were people playing online.
You are probably right about me liking M,G,Rising. It did actually remind me of the old Shinobi game for the Play-station which i loved and still own. It was more of an instant reaction to the title due to it not having Snake in it. You know like that other one where you played as Snake then played the other half as Raiden. (My favourite is still the Game cube Twin Snakes game).
An ultimate P,C, would be great. I would love to transition from console to P,C. The driving sims are awesome on P,C,
I have now started buying really old games, like 'Mercenaries 2', '50 Cent Blood On The Sand', and 'Dead To Rights'. I'm having more fun with those games than any of these plodding RPGs that are as fun as separating the rice in sushi! I buy just about everything second hand now and probably won't buy the PS4 for another year when there's a few more than 10 games available. I have a feeling the new GTA is going to be well over-hyped too.

Do you have the first PS3 that allows PS1 and PS2 games (I think) to run on it, or the newer version? I don't think mine allows the older ones (I have s first slim model 160 GB with 2 USB ports, not the super slim). Perhaps you know more than me on this one? I'd love to play Freedom Fighters again. That was great!

I found this kind of funny when I saw the cover because every time me and my friend play True Crime or GTA we drive on the sidewalk and shout "blood drive!"

Me too mate. I think i own more old PS1 & PS2 games than i do PS3, I am a big fan of the old arcade games like Defender, Bezerk, Gravitar, Tempest. Since games became 3,D, the oldies really do seem to get looked down upon. I know am not the only person who loves the oldies but i wish some games developer would specialise in releasing all the old arcade classics. I know there have been some oldies re-released but wouldnt it be great if we could get games like Aliens arcade and Star wars trilogy.

I now have a real problem with the D,L,C, content, lol.
Its kind of a massive scam if you think about it. I mean look at how many cars we had in Gran Turismo 5. Also Dirt 3 was a total rip off, no tracks no cars. Why should we have to pay extra money to download additional cars/tracks that should actually already be in the finished game. Dev's aren't being lazy by not finishing the games before selling them, its a business plan (designed) to get more than the initial £40 out of us.

Pretty much lol but hopefully by that time they'll have emulators for all the consoles working perfectly and you'll just have the one ultimate PC with every game ever available on it :) I read your points on Metal Gear Rising. I don't know if you've actually played it but it's surprisingly good. Forget it's a metal gear game and you'll like it. Platinum Games are one of the best developers going right now.
You underestimate the difficulties present in trying to convert code for a different hardware. It's a glitch fest waiting to happen. Emulation on the software level is crap. Vanilla hardware + vanilla software for me only, thanks!

You're spot on there mate, I love the t,v, walking dead series but what the hell happened with the game? Same with Metal Gear, i am a fan since the beginning and still own every game but i will not buy the last release featuring Raiden. Same with Codemasters, they're turning out some real crap now. After Dirt 3 i never bought any of their games. Instead of buying That Raiden Rising crap people would be better off buying Twin-snakes for the old Game Cube. I think it can be played on the Wii

No mate, i am on my second PS3 now. The first one I owned was one of the original machines bought on launch day and that one did play some PS2 games. This new one i have is the same 160GB version same as yours and doesn't seem to play anything other than PS3 discs. I had to keep hold of my old PS2 to play old PS1/PS2 games. That REALLY pisses me off having to keep older machines. I really hope the PS4 is gonna be backwards compatible, at least playing PS3 games. I doubt it will be though.

Tidy little game this, I'd go as far as to say that Blood Drive will prob come to be one of the rarer collectable 360/PS3 titles out there in years to come, it had some difficulty with pal releases but the ntsc release is region free, still makes it hard to come by. Gonna be cult one day, Inside its own genre it even looks and feels like cult cinema ^_^

Oh my god man! that is so bloody shit. So now not only do i have to keep me old PS2 but i now gotta keep an old PS3 as well.
Why have they done this to us. By the time i'm 80 years old i'll have a room full of old play stations piled up to the ceiling , lol.
I have no issue with keeping either system. I prefer using them, especially my PS2 because I can use my Action Replay disc on it. Also, I know your comment is 5 years old, but I just had to respond. Lol

I came here to check out a review for this, as it is really cheap right now, but having seen your objective view I won't bother. I find most reviews really crap! Most of the top game reviews are totally contrary to my views: Walking Dead adventure is just boring - watching a cartoon and pressing a 'decision' button every 8 minutes, Metal Gear Solid - just stupid with its attempt at stupid humour with a terrible story, and then games that get '2.5' tend to be the top games going!
