    13R-KSAT. That was a great shot of the full blood moon from Fort Worth. Looking at the sun rising on your left was awesome. I was wondering how you were going to land with all the fog, I forgot that your instrument was your guide home. The bright runway was cool to see. Never seen it from a pilot view. Only saw it under it on the 281-Hwy. Keep flying and be safe. 🛩😁

    Apologies for the audio on this video. I'm not sure why the levels go up and down during camera angle changes.

    Love your vids, Jesse. At 9:10 I was briefly not watching the video while it was playing, and my head snapped back because I swore I'd just heard the ATIS-bot drop an F-bomb. Made me chuckle.

    I really enjoy your professional piloting vids Jesse. The combination of cockpit audio, instruments and outside views is great and I'm always looking forward to the next instalment!

    Another great vid! Personally I switch OFF my landing and taxi light when approaching down to minimums especially in mist / fog or very low cloud. You would have seen those approach lights sooner.
    Nice work anyway guys! Cheers

    I really enjoyed the videography. I learned to fly in 1967 in Abilene. West Texas could get really dark at night then. I loved the sunrise. Thanks and keep flying.

      Glad you enjoyed it Frank, I’m happy to be able to share it with you.
      I flew bank checks for years and saw hundreds of sunrises and sunsets along this route. It never gets old.

    zero dislikes. That's the way it should be. Something you can consider, Patreon. you could make a little money to get more and/or better equipment and get videos edited by someone else if you really wanted to. Love these videos! Please let me know if you ever come to CYQG, I work and train there.

    Very professional flying! You guys do it right! Really liked this one with the challenging approach to mins. Liked the way you split the screen on final with the EFD down low on the right. Sierra Hotel!

    Excellent video as always! Beautiful sunrise time lapse! I would love to hear your thoughts on the strengths and weaknesses of the 300 vs its competitors, the process of getting snd staying 300 single pilot qualified and the difficulty level of single pilot ops in this plane. You guys seem pretty busy sometimes even with the two of you to divide the work! I was pleasantly surprised at the end of this video to see you here in my home town, KABY. Keep the videos coming!

    • @IllFlyIt
      @IllFlyIt  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The 300 is very easy regarding single pilot ops. Having an additional crew-member is a luxury. The 300 excels as getting the job done. With 5-6 passengers and light luggage we can still top off and fly a 4 hour leg. It does great in high elevation (Aspen, Telluride, Gunnison) and is a blast to fly.
      It has a reputation of going off the end of runways (CXO, SGR, FCM) and that is mostly due to pilot error. It performs well and is a blast to fly.
      We enjoyed our 48 hours in Albany. The pecan groves reminded me of home (Virginia). The locals were also very friendly.
      Thanks for watching and for the questions Nathan!

    Jesse, I'm new to your channel. Thank you for posting. How often do you fly to PDX or HIO in OREGON? I use to live in Beaverton, Oregon across from the NIKE Campus. I currently live in S.W./ FORT WORTH.

    Great video, helps with ATC and IFR comms. If possible, you should add an overlay of the approach with your track so we can see the pace in order for us to get some more SA of what you are doing.

    Another fantastic flight. May I ask a question? When I was flying I had both radar and a stormscope installed in my planes (Cessna 340 and 421). Why don't you guys use stormscopes?

    • @IllFlyIt
      @IllFlyIt  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not sure if the Phenoms have stormscopes as an option because I’ve never seen one with it. Maybe it’s because they all have XM weather and a really good onboard radar. Even with all of that a I’d like to have a stormscope.

    • @dclome
      @dclome 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the reply. In truth, I have never seen a storm scope on any private jet.

    My new favorite aviation channel, especially living just up the road in Austin. What logbook software/app is that? Or is it a company thing?

    • @IllFlyIt

      It was 100% right as we landed in San Antonio. Unfortunate we didn’t get to see it.
      Our preflight in FTW started out with full moon and during takeoff an hour later it was nearly 50% covered.

    Ugh, hate fog. Two ?’s.
    Do you use FLC? Never noticed.
    Have you flown/seen any of the newer G3000 300’s?
    Thanks for the vids.

    • @IllFlyIt
      @IllFlyIt  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I prefer FLC when I’m hand flying and vertical speed while using the autopilot. The autopilot is not very smooth while using FLC and VS gives a better ride.
      I haven’t flown a G3000 yet. Our company only has G1000 equipped currently. I definitely want to one day though. Thanks for watching!

    Wonderful and creative cinematography. I looked the text overlays and the way you integrate the ATC chatter. In fact I really enjoy everything about your videos except the sound that you are using when switching camera angles. Very distracting and unnecessary in opinion.

    • @IllFlyIt
      @IllFlyIt  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Brant. This video had audio issues that I couldn’t figure out. The output file is clean but after uploading to TH-cam it has that weird audio issue. I know it’s distracting 😐
      I’ve recently switched how I record and edit the audio and I haven’t had this issue in any other videos since.
      Thanks for the feedback, glad to have you watching.
