  • Huge thank you to Matthew Hiebert and the entire AO2 Crew for their support and creative influence. Also, thank you to the talented camera-man Alec Pfleiderer for helping me film this project.
    This is only the beginning.

    Wow. Hands down this is the most creative play I've ever seen - how many "never been done's" are in this? This is setting the bar miles above everyone else. Hot damn. I was messing around with two begleri in one hand last night just for kicks and here you are legitimately making combos from it. Bravo.

    Hi Weston. I love the way you sling. I saw some of your tricks mentioned on AO2 and I was wondering what two of them are. Do you have a video or explanation for "Harpoon" or "Thread the Needle"? Thanks.

    • @westonhamilton
      @westonhamilton  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      hey there, thanks for the kind words. i do not have video tuts for those moves.

      @@westonhamilton Thanks for getting back to me. I appreciate your quick response. I'm sure you are busy and I don't want to take up much of your time. I respect your skills & figured I could get the best answers directly from the creator of the tricks. When I asked Musclebones about "Harpoon", he described it as a "Mic Drop" that wraps in a different direction. Is that accurate? Is it basically a "Reverse Mic Drop".

      I’ve seen tutorials on using 3/4 oz. fishing weights, but you have to drill the holes bigger, check out a tutorial by Dylan Kowalski, he makes a lot of things! But I have to admit that his Begleri gaming isn’t even close to Weston’s!

    Best demonstration I've seen. I really like the interplay of the two sets. Could you post a bit of your background, how long you've been doing this, etc.? I wouldn't think that there's a Pro Tour for begleri or any particular brand, but I could be wrong. I ran across begleri two weeks ago, and loved the moves and that it packs small. I've made a few sets, but will buy a manufactured set to see the difference. Art (age 72). Hey.... I've got a Loaded longboard fitted with a disk brake system from Brakeboard. Big 75mm wheels.

    • @westonhamilton
      @westonhamilton  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Art Derfall hey, thank you so much for the kind words. I'm 18 years old, 17 at the time of this video. I've been doing begleri for 11 months. This video was made for promotion of aroundsquare (www.aroundsquare.com). I'm still a proud member of that team, but I've also started my own business making these awesome toys. You can find my website at westonhamilton.com

    • @artderfall
      @artderfall 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nice site. I see you are sold out of many items. Playing cards are an art form. Interest in magic? I get many items from Penguin Magic because they keep a library of training videos. One routine you might like is Cube3, which utilizes a Rubix Cube. Watch the intro video...it fooled Penn and Teller. Anything by Rick Lax. As for photography, ever make a cinemagraph? Search TH-cam for best of. If you have PhotoShop, Phlearn on YT has a good instructional video. Portraits....download a free version of Portrait Professional. A full version starts at under $50. It does the usual getting rid of red-eye and blemishes, but it also has an algorithm of what a good-looking face looks like. It does a subtle tweak to what the person really looks like. There's a business in this. It's so easy to use. Often with just one click.
