IMO Winter aspiring to be an actress before switching over to become an idol comes through in these teasers. Of the four, I feel hers was probably the most challenging to perform.
Well, Winter said she has always wanted to be an idol ever since she was young but she was too shy to tell her parents because no one in her family is into singing and stuff, so they got kind of shocked when she told them she wanted to be a singer and that time she was scouted by SM. But yeah, winter has a thing for acting.
I just realized two things, both in Karina’s: 1) They said Trauma but nothing else. Every other word had an opposite one said. 2) It said “Break, Trauma” which is in the song Also, it kinda feels like a Jason Bourne plot
Might be a surprise to you, aespa title tracks are the lore basically. All their teasers are connected at least that's what SM said, so MYs are trying to crack their brains on these lol! This is their new lore, happening in our "Real World" because previously their lore happened mostly in "Kwangya".
*Giselle* is all about her scorned best friend and lover, *Winter* is the grieving sister who gets revenge by murdering her brothers killer. *Ningning* is a suppressed girl living rebellious double life, and I think *Karina* is a celebrity moonlighting as an assassin
Glad you enjoyed it! I'd say yes, if you've been skipping the Aespa lore videos then you've missed out on a LOT! Their synk:aespa videos gave a cute introduction to them and their SMCU Episodes 1, 2, and 3 were like little mini-movies that tied directly into the storyline of their MV's. It's honestly some of the best Kpop content out there, in my opinion!

I’m a huge fan of Nicholas Wind Renf and you are right the teaser of Karina is same as chaotic as the filmography of NWR, specially in The Neón Demon
