I have used rotary electric razors since I started shaving. They have all performed reasonably well but often I would have to take a final pass with a regular razor to get hairs the razors missed. I had been reading the reviews for the Braun Electric Razor for Men, Waterproof Foil Shaver, Series 9 Pro. The hefty price kept me from immediately pulling the trigger. Now that I have, its is hands down the best electric razor I have ever used. Generally takes one pass to clear all the whiskers, short, long, in between. I shave my head and chest. The shave is as good if not better than a regular razor. I am impressed... very impressed.
I’ve used a Braun series 9 razor for several years. Last month I purchased one of the new Panasonic arc 6 razors. In my experience the Panasonic has the Braun shaver beat in every way.
Hello, thank you for your review. I have a query. You said that you do the cleaning with the cleaning station once a week. So when you do a shave, you just clean blades with water nicely and once a week you do a cleaning station cleaning. Is that what you would recommend? Thank you in advance.

Cleaning station appears to be an upsell gimick. Just use some dish soap in bowl of water and run the shaver in it for a minute.
But that water drop like indicator stays there until you put the shave in the cleaning station?
@@dejavu1754 If you buy an s version instead of a cc there is no cleaning indication that is tied to using the station.
The cleaning station works great so it is not a gimmick for sure. Whether it is necessary or not is another matter. For sure you can clean it very well with some dish soap and a drop of machine oil. We've all been doing this for years and it works great on any shaver. But with the cleaning station you don't need to bother with doing this manually. Indeed it is not worth paying a lot extra money for this, but at the current prices of the cc vs the s versions, you can get one with a station for about the same price usually. I consider the charging case more of a gimmick given costs a lot, it weighs like 300grams, is the size of a shoe and the shaver can shave like 10 times on a single charge anyway.
They don’t take 10 to 15 mins to clean its around 3 mins then after 3 mins they go into dry mode dry mode takes around 40 odd mins dry mode is pointless cos they don’t dry your blade I don’t no anyone who said theirs dry their .Panasonic shavers dry theirs Panasonic shavers come out warm as well and totally dry .bruan stations don’t despite them claiming it suppose to dry your shaver they don’t I wouldn’t recommend using the bruan for your head and beard the blades blunt fast with bruans series 9 pro just use it for beard only

Probably not, they are made in Germany so you're probably better buying something else. Made in Germany is a meme in this day and age.
Can't you just use tap water to clean it? Seems dumb paying for a cleaning pod when for one thing you need to replace it, and the soap they use in it can irritate the skin. Even after cleaning you STILL have to clean it yourself as it doesn't get out all the hair. A gimmick that nobody calls out.
Why didn't you shave that beard to show us how well it works??
