Chisgule, Omniarch, and ArcherSyndicate all said this, and I understand why as we've always had a bit of a pattern when it came to commander releases. But I doubt it will be the end of Wedge Formation. Lilith just wants commanders to have more depth from here on out. In the future for example, we might get a different variety such as Smite Archers, Combo Sieges, Shielding Cavs etc. I truly believe that these new Archer Commanders are one-offs, and expect Lilith to do more of these from time to time. The New Ragnar is a Prime Example no pun intended, as it means that Infantry can still use Wedge(plus, Scipio Field was in desperate need for another partner, not named Guan Yu).
this is the reason why i only focus on 5% march speed only in wedge formation,. Because its versatile,. its good for every troops,,. Infantry, Cavs, Archer, Seige Revamp
I find the theoretical implications extremely alarming. For a very high spender, I'd measure the time to get a good set of armaments (between 2 to 4 L-Inscripts on mid/high triple rolls) on the order of YEARS for most money spending players. For a field player, I think it's largely irrelevant and it's easily possible to quickly adapt to an armament meta change with good hoarding (say, 30-35% of total value armaments). It's much, much harder for a rally player to adapt. In practice, I'm not sure how alarming it'll actually be. The combo mechanic has a large flaw regarding it's total DPS output (200 factor per turn). You'd need to do 3 combos per turn to be on par with Sargon - a commander considered terrible. And the Garrison meta is arguably arch regardless of type (for anti swarm)
Great vid good point i think we watching some meta Change they realease this arm first só whales have time to farm them but another factor i would add is civ ND skins many use Twilight ND the offer of universal skins is very poor
A year ago all the content creators made a sea of content about poison being the future of archers. Now they all forgot that mistake they made ans theyre doing it all over again saying true damage is the future of archers. You gùys are stuck in an old way of thinking by assuming there will always only be one thing to do thats the best, when it seems obvious to me lilith isnt pushing anything into any certain direction, but rather forking things off into many directions so their players have more options
@@MrSiegeOfficial lilith is trying to put more diversity in the playstyle, some like some don't always like that. but I think this is a great direction with new perspectives
I want to build a construction army, so which pair of generals should I choose? Gajah Mada Gonzalo Cordoba or Gonzalo Cordoba Gajah Mada, which one is stronger in the main?
I really enjoy your videos. I think wedge was just too basic and was used with any type of troop. I do see them having specialties for each but still have maybe every other release still be skill damage. I don;t think it will go away but be much for limited. Thank you for the great content and good luck with the new laptop. Also, I did have a question, I have 1554 heads and want to make a siege march, full T5, Full legandary gear minus chest, what two commanders should I max? Is Gonzolo / gaja mada more forgiving for new ranged players?
Literally last commander (Ragnar Prime ) and also next 2 archer commander are also skill dmg commander, they have healing but they are skill dmg commander 😂
Sorry about the sound 😅 for help with your ranged march, feel free to join my discord channel discord.gg/XPq8kSxvjf

Said this in a mentoring video about a month ago and ppl started coming after me 😅
Watched that one lol
Yes it’s seems pretty forceful from Lilith trying to make new formations relevant

Is march speed good?
I use March speed.

the new ragnar prime shows that maybe that's not the case, but if it is then for me that's better
Yes I wasn’t sure but I thought it was skill

For one siege march, which is the best pair? Is there a way to get Gahaj Mada?

I don’t think so personally these are just another option

@@th3l0nerang3rs thanks man! So Gajah and cordoba are a bit more forgiving if you can’t micromanage. But we could see new commanders in December
Skill damage still the best in game

True dmg is shit. Will not replace skill. True dmg/healing is just bad.. only good to fill your hospital
