You are so talented. I’ve gotten so many great ideas from you! Especially painting. And this makeover is gorgeous. I wanted to tell you I think you made the right choice with the pools and no knobs. It just looks so much more architecturally pleasing.

I went backwards, I watched part 2 first.the walls are beautiful but I would have painted those switch plates the same as the wall to blend right in, the metal stands out. I just love what you did with those tall cabinets putting the wainscoting, I really like that other side you chose! it looks so rich and those pull's look gorgeous please don't change anything about them {you were thinking of getting a few knobs... no you can't 😓🤣 I love it! love it! love it! wish I could make those. You're really great at what you do!

Hi Jorge! Nice job on the stock cabinets. I think you’ll feel better about the bar pulls by moving the large bars on the top to the bottom and the shorter bars on the bottom to the top. I think that would solve the symmetry issue. As for the drawers, I’d change the bar pulls to two knobs per drawer to create some contrast.
After you’ve lived with these cabinets for a couple years, consider painting them black and using the same brass hardware.

Jorge you improved the area a lot! I like the cabinets and the black doors! I agree on the cabinet pulls, to many! Maybe knobs for the drawers. Also, I think it would be an improvement if you move the cabinets 6 to 8 inches or so it doesn’t look like it is so close to your back doors🚪- Great job!

Had to wait for the end, before I ask my question. What about plain crown molding around the top of the cabinets to give it a finished look? Versus having that gap up there. Or raise the cabinets up to make it flush with the ceiling. 👍🏾 AWESOME job on the cabinets and the black doors. I'm loving the black.

Someone probably told you this already but, there is a liquid masking fluid that you can paint on your glass. After you've painted your window frames you pull the masking off the glass. I haven't used it on glass but it's been around for watercolor painting. Yeah, fun to pull off.
Your new cabinets look great. Great solution for stash and storage.

I like the wall w/the texture. Don't change. Also you can put knobs/bolts on the draws, so you can align it with top pulls, draws knobs & bottom pulls(if you see what I mean). I love it, can't wait to see the rest 💖
Ps....I think gold locks on the kitchen door that you painted....what donyou think?

I would suggest that you center the unit on the wall to provide a more furniture looking aesthetic. Right now the cabinets look like they are shoved into the corner and are competing with the black french doors. Just my two cents :)

Consider centering the 3 pantry cupboards along the wall rather than beginning from the corner. The arrangement looks cramped and off balance. There is no space between the pantry units and the entrance door and that looks and feels awkward. Also, since you don't want to go for a built-in effect, centering the cabinets will help them look more like free-standing units and less like a built-in that doesn't quite fit the space.
I see a power receptacle below the wall switch, but you could "relocate" that with a power strip or do a cutout in the back panel of a pantry unit. Relocating the receptacle would gain you several more inches for centering the cabinets. There would be maybe a 6 inch recess of empty space between the pantry and the entrance door. I would place a light fixture there to provide indirect lighting in that corner, perhaps an upspot or narrow light pillar.

Hi Jorge, loving the cabinets, did you fix them to the wall, as your suppose to? they could fall on someone as they are opening the doors and always put the heavy stuff at the bottom as that will hold it down better, but please fix them to the wall so you have peace of mind. Xx

I don't know why you would put black doors in a room that is mostly beige/brown. Sorry, but that just looks ugly to me. I don't like black to begin with, and the symbolism of a black door is not good or welcoming. Each to their own. The cabinets look great. I wish you had done the doors in that color.
