S23 is noticeably clearer but only when you zoom in on it a lot. Neither of these phone screens can even get close to 48 million pixels, so uless you are zooming in 5x or watching on a 16k screen you won't be able to tell the difference. I personally have the s23 ultra and battery, performance, and nearly every aspect of the camera system are amazing. Both of these phones are great, and while I do personally prefer some of the features that come on Samsung phones and Android I can understand the argument for the iPhone due to apple services and communications. However both of these are very similar when comparing overall performance, battery life, and camera quality. There are no significant issues with either of these so it will be hard in my opinion for these companies to innovate in the future. In conclusion dont buy one of these over the other due to camera/ battery/ performance, I would look at what bonus features and operating system appeal to you personally.

I had an s20 ultra and it’s battery health went bad after 2 years and my iPhone after a year it’s battery health went down by 2% edit: forgot to mention I have the 13

About the simple thing you can just adjust that in samsung setting
And for the battry samsung always goes on background to get the notifications check that everything is ok and all kinda that stuff but iphone dose not do that when your phone gets on it starts rendering notifications
Plus you can turn on power saving mode if you want
Another plus you can enable developer options (is secret setting you can just search to how to enable it) that in it you can do soo many stuff
