Wonderful playing Rich - really enjoyed the Jazzy playing (I listened to the intro twice!) - you're getting some great tones out of that guitar. Congrats on hitting 11K subs!
Great demo Rich! I just picked one up after watching your video a couple of times- loving this amp. BTW, as usual your playing was outstanding, but what is that cool lick you play at around 8:00-8:05. Looks like it’s in the key of B on the high E and B strings, but I can’t quite get it given your rapid hammer on/pull offs- any help with that?
Good Morning Master, 2 Questions, 1 = Do you recommend it more than the Fender Hot Rod Deluxe & Deville 212? I like to play songs Indie Rock, 2 = Is the spring reverb of the amp better than the one played in the Strymon Big Sky? Thank you 🙌
I'm really wondering if this holds up in a pretty loud band, with a 2nd leadguitar playing through a Blues Deluxe (40 watt 1x12) and a pretty loud drummer. Live gigs in bars etc.. will it be loud enough to compete with the Blues Deluxe, and most importantly... stay clean(-ish) up to these levels? My Hot Rod breaks up at volume 3-4 and the tone after volume 4 is not pretty distorted.. I really don't want to mic it up each time. On the fence between this and the Twin Tone Master (200 watt). I know that this is pretty clean and loud, but I like the Pro Reverb's tone a lot more. Any thoughts?
Nice amp, but not a reissue since the original Fender Pro Reverb was never a single channel. For those who want to learn more about what is under the hood, look for the Psionic Audio channel. Lyle does a two part video explaining what he did to reduce noise and hum. Oh yes, replace the Groove Tube output tubes with something of a higher quality.
just got back from 2 diff music stores after playing this one, and 3 other new fender models. they sound great low-mid vol. sound like &$^%# cranked up. the 2 old fenders i have still bloom out notes when on 10. still very musical. still worth 2k-2500. hell, my 74 sfvc was 350! the only fender i could stand the sound of cranked was the drri.
Love that Guitar Rich 😎👍 Looks like that new amp range is having problems with components failing. I’m wondering if Fender is going to do a recall or just sort out customers as they blow?
Oh no, so there are already some failure problems with some of these out there? That's not good, otherwise I may be interested in acquiring one. Fender has been designing and building amps since the beginning of time, is it really that difficult for them to build a well made, reliable amp?
Sounds really good but the "Silverface" styling always looks cheap compared to the preceding "Blackface" look. I think its to do with the blue lettering on the silver panel.
That's the best looking and sounding Fender amp I've heard in a long time !
I played in bands for years. The best amp sound I ever heard was an old 60s Fender Twin that one of our guitarists used.
Sounds great! That guitar looks killer btw!!
The firefly sounds.... Well...... Fly! fender sounds good as usual! Thanks for sharing

Some Brian Setzer inspired blues lick.
Just love that clean sound, thanks for the review
Welcome!

FireFly did make some excellent guitars in the beginning I don't know about now, that sounds tipTop
Is suitable for bedroom playing? I have a Princeton but love how this sounds in comparison. I use lots of pedals for distortion, would it be too loud?
Just turn your pedals down and set the Amp real low. Should be fine.
@@RichBischoff yep od pedals are the great secret attenuators.
Does the vibrato work without footswitch? My won’t and I’m wondering is like the old ones.
You have to have the foot switch plugged in for it to work.
@@RichBischoff thank you
How the it compare with our 65 deluxe RI does the Pro have a sweeter break up?
Rich, how is the noise floor? Hiss... humming...
I have a 68 DRRI and its unbelievably loud with nothing plugged in. I cant studio record with it
Typical Fender amp noise, especially with a pedal board plugged in.
@@RichBischoff 😭
A good gig amp and home amp!!! How much $ ?
Right now about $1300. Great home amp, as you say, because it sounds so deep even at low volume.
Thank you for the review. Did you notice any tube rattle or hiss?
No
My first one did. Fender replaced it and it was perfect!
Great sounding amp!👍☺

Killer playing!
do you hear a ticking sound from the amp when using tremolo. I returned a 68 deluxe reverb for this reason.
I didn't have any issues.

How’s the noise floor? I have a hissy Deluxe reverb and I’m trying to get a fender amp with less of that
Mine is dead silent.
NICE!!!👍

What kind of failures? Tube rattle and hiss?
Rich you kick arse...
Why is the mic there?
To record it.
Tubes just sound better. That’s a fact Jack
👍🔥🎸🦅
