Her talent is uncanny. I used to think this was a traditional Christmas song that she covered like some of the other songs she did on that iconic album. I got chills when i found out she made up this song. Sounds so traditional and classic.
Wow I like the arrangements on this specially the horns that I usually hear on UK songs... Also can you provide the new lyrics I don't know if its me or I'm having a hard time understanding it... Thanks lamb :)
@@mariahstripped I think this is more of a reference mix, as in, it's probably what she / Sony sent the choir (kids and BV's) to rehearse and record on. The song most likely wasn't done vocally as she was doing multiple sessions at a time, so in that sense (especially because the lyrics were altered after) you could say it's a demo also.
First comment ! Love to hear the harmonies at 2:27 and are the new lyrics you mention at 2:42 ? Thank you for sharing this, it's a beautiful Christmas season already !

This is Mariahs own song? Ha also new for me! I thought this was a classic Christmas song and a cover. Its a great arrangement
This song is co written by Mariah Carey and Walter Affanasief. It sound like classic but it's hers
This version includes unreleased vocals, and an entirely different second half of the song! Different lyrics :)
Wow! This is really rare. Thank you so much!
I cannot believe my ears 😍 I'm gonna follow you on Instagram ASAP

I think it's simply "a shining star"
This sounds as though it could have been the demo version
Billy Yep! I wanted to title it demo but obviously not sure if that was the case.
This is titled 2001 Mix in the stems. Not sure why.
