I think that you have a lot of knowledge and a good teaching way. really, you make it easy and simple!
i've been learning a lot of subjects for a long time. the point is not how much the time you spend? vs. how much the information you have?
the point is, do you understand or not, do you have the right pictures of the facts. can you relate the facts and information you have together and make benefit of them or no.
it's an equation. time, effort, facts you gain, are you relaxed and entertained while you're learning or not, etc..
