I'll be cheering on Mike this year for sure. I remember how excited I was to see you in the 28 Yates car. I was a Davey Allison fan and would have loved to see you stay in that ride. It wouldn't suck if you dusted off the gloves and gave it a run yourself!
Mike Wallace is a grown azz man, if he goes out and gets unalived that’s his business. Chance that happens isn’t that great, let him do his thing and have a blast with it.. who knows, he might show these young guys how it’s done..
Hey Herman I was in the local flea market here in Muncie Indiana this morning and I picked up an old Racing Champions 1991 Dry Cox treatment lumber #36 1:64 dicast with a collectors card inside. Would love to show you buddy!
Kenny, Morgan Shepard made his last Cup start at age 72 & his last Xfinity race at age 77. Shepherd became the second-oldest race winner (after Harry Gant) in 1993, when he won the spring race at Atlanta at the age of 51. He holds the record for oldest driver to start a race in NASCAR's top three series at age 77 in the 2019 Indiana 250 Xfinity Series race held on September 7, 2019, at Indianapolis Motor Speedway as well as oldest starter in the NASCAR Cup Series race at the 2014 Camping World RV Sales 301 at age 72. So Mike has plenty more years of possible driving specially if he qualifies & finishes well in the Daytona 500.
He's never driven the next Gen car and it's not receptor plates. The car drive completely different and it's not like he's driving for a competitive team either
We got that same snow/ice storm coming to Virginia tomorrow into Monday night. It's looking like a significant icing event here in Radford. My friend Marissa and I are hoping for the best with this. Where she works is expected to get three tenths of an inch of ice. I believe we're close to it now here in Radford. I said to Marissa, there's no way in hell I feel comfortable with sending her to work on Monday morning.
@@fishhuntadventure I'm originally from upstate NY. I just moved here to Virginia in August. So it's been a good while since I've dealt with an icing event.
Hey Herm. Why’d you single out the “Kyles’ show” about getting their nascar licenses? 😂 BTW. Saw this morning KB won a dirt race yesterday I think. Flo racing posted his interview. Was actually nice to see him with a happy smile on his face for a change, from all his recent scowls. Be good!😊
Hey Herm I got a question about the Nascar license is there any driving test or just the written an physical part I'd really appreciate if you can shed some light for me an Goodluck to Mike
Being healthy and physically fit to race are very different. Muscle reflex, the ability for a body to withstand hits, stamina, etc are scientifically proven to dramatically decrease with age. Blood work, ekg, and sight don’t prove much.
To even just drive one of these cars at the speeds they do says something of the skill required. If you get in the car and Race Daytona, your in a rarefied skill air. Armchair drivers need not apply. Those that say there is no skill and just turn left all day all right all right all right, clearly have never driven at 200mph with a wall of cars inches on your left and possibly another wall of cars inches on your right. Regular drivers would have no time to think, let alone react. These cup drivers basically perform chess moves at high speed, mental skill indeed, quick reflexes for sure. If Mike makes the race he deserves to be in the race. Go get em Mike, be rooting for you. Have a good clean (but not too clean) race!
I'm so happy for mike and I wish him the best of luck between you and your brother mike you are two of the most underrated restrictor plate drivers in my opinion
People being concerned about Mr. Mike shouldn’t be a story. The real story is will the car be good enough to get in considering the other open cars. You currently have 6-8 projected cars for 4 spots 66 - Wallace 78 - McLeod 84 - Johnson TBD - Truex Jr (maybe 23XI or Legacy) TBD - 3rd Childress car (likely Hill) 62 - Beard entry (maybe Corey Lajoie) 31 - Possible 3rd Kaulig (maybe Christian Eckes) TBD - most unlikely Spire/Hendrick entry for Rajah Caruth
No he's going to be driving a s*** box because that's all those cars are for mbm Motorsports Because they are too f****** cheap to get real sponsorship or quality drivers
But is it smart for a 65 year old with no seat time in next generation car to jump in to the biggest race of year potentially get injured because your reaction time gets worse the older you get. I would hate to see him get hurt.
Wouldn't want him to be the cause of somebody else getting hurt also. If it was a short track or a mile and a half I don't care about Mike's age then as much but I don't agree with senior citizens trying the 500
Go, Mike Wallace. I'm not a big NASCAR fan, but, this is interesting. I'll stay out of the way and watch. Thank you, Kenny, for updating us on what's happening.
25 year auto tech here stuck working for Tesla in Ca. My father was a huge Rusty fan. If you need help please reach out I will work for free for Daytona. Please reach out
Age has everything to do with with it and the kids as you call them have to run the lower series at Daytona or Talladega before can get approved. Svg had to run arca race last year to get approved for the Xfinity series race
Herm I appreciate you breaking that down, I think the people that were skeptical didn't honestly know about them doing a physical. I hope he makes the race and has a great time. I hope he still has that dog in him and can keep up with these overly aggressive young guys
@johnhaas2523 your right, they should have an age limit, they should have to be at least 25 and have a concept of reality. Understand how to pass without running over people.
Clown Because Mike's going to be driving in the back or in the garage before lap 100 Because the shot box is going to break Because that's what MBM's cars are and Is and going to be able to hang with the younger drivers on the track and He's got no experience with the next gen
I'm pretty sure you've got to go through a physical even when you're younger with being a race car driver but somebody that's Mike's age should have to get a physical to be cleared race just like truck drivers driving them big 18 wheelers have to especially since it's a super speedway
Ken, I drove a tractor trailer for 24 years every two years you have to go in and get a physical, that being said, shouldn’t be an issue to get your NASCAR license
No they don't need to leave a 65-year-old alone. If it was any track other than a superspeedway sure you would be 100% right leave them alone though a 65-year-old doesn't belong in the nascar top series anyway. Needs to be an age limit You get to be seen your citizen age your done in the cup series
Sounds like yet another cheap-scape Wallace brother is looking for a free full medical GI workup on NASCAR’s dime…😂 That Medicare Advantage plan sucks..
I have no issue believing he is healthy enough to do it. Only thing I'll say and I'm sure he knows it is your not in your prime. Your brain and body slow down as you age. Obviously it's a your experience may vary sort of thing but it happens to some degree to everyone. You see that with mma fighters they can be on top of the world and then a couple years later they are getting their ass kicked. Father time always wins. That being said I hope he qualifies and does well and has fun stays safe and enjoy the hell out of it. Being in any NASCAR race especially the 500 is an absolute life time achievement. I hope he enjoys every moment!
The ONLY reason why I’d look for the 500 is to root for Mike. Unfortunately, I just don’t watch racing anymore. I DO miss it but it’s just too different now.
Good morning Herman! I’ll be cheering Mike on for the Qualifying for the 500 this years Daytona!
Always stay true to you Herman. Don't ever let the hateful assholes of the world try to change you.
I think it is awesome, and I am pulling for him! Hope he makes the race and has a great showing!
I can’t wait to cheer on Mike. Haven’t watched in ages. But will this year.
Wishing Mike all the best! How about Rusty and Kenny jump back into a restricter plate race too! All the brothers in the same race? Would be awesome.
If the Desire is there ! - Age is just a number Think J-Force - C-Karamesines ( Drag racing ) Once again - Age is just a Freakin #
Agree about those 2 gents. But the body gets a harder workout in NASCAR. A few hours vs a few seconds! 😁
I hope he qualifies for the Daytona 500. Been a fan of all 3 of y'all forever
Hey Wallace!!! You’re the best! Keep it up, we love to hear your thoughts on everything, Kenny you need to get in the cup races per the provisional!
this is a gold one!!! u nailed it this time kenny!!! good watch
What was ole Andy's response to DBS that motor?😂
Morning Herman loved watching you three brothers run together on the races it would be great to see you three again on a track together again
I'll be cheering on Mike this year for sure. I remember how excited I was to see you in the 28 Yates car. I was a Davey Allison fan and would have loved to see you stay in that ride. It wouldn't suck if you dusted off the gloves and gave it a run yourself!
I love your stories Kenny you can always make me laugh 😂 ! I'm pulling for you Mike because us older guys got to stick together!
I have a feeling Mike will win the Daytona 500.
I think it was so cold Wallace was shivering ! Get at it Mike!
Love ya Brother Kenny ! Your the best 🤣
"You are what you think." Kenny you are just full of it. But that is why people love you!
Hell I had a blood draw this morning. Got to have a couple of MRI's Damn MS , but I look good !
Herm that phrase needs to be on one of your tee shirts!
Thanks for the video Herm.
calling our Eric LMAO you are the best Kenny!
Kenny, Keep Rolling!!!❤😊
Mike Wallace is a grown azz man, if he goes out and gets unalived that’s his business. Chance that happens isn’t that great, let him do his thing and have a blast with it.. who knows, he might show these young guys how it’s done..
Good luck Mike 😊
905 races is incredible Kenny.

We need more positivity in this world good luck mike on the 500 mike hope you win it bud
We need more positivity but we don't need it in NASCAR about a 65-year-old
Well your brother is one of the best restrictor plate races we got
He's never driven the next Gen car and it's not receptor plates. The car drive completely different and it's not like he's driving for a competitive team either

Be safe out there
@larryplummer9154 We will. She comes home tomorrow afternoon and we're preparing for it.
Living in Vermont this makes my chuckle
@@fishhuntadventure I'm originally from upstate NY. I just moved here to Virginia in August. So it's been a good while since I've dealt with an icing event.
hey kenny what years did you run the no.81 square d car. i have a poster with all the ford drivers on it for that year but no date.
All I can say is that it's Mike's call!! 65 aside. What happens happens. Goods or bad!! Go Mike!!
It's awesome that Mike Wallace is going to race at Daytona 2025❤. Dave Marcus still raced in his 70s
Kenny I’m so happy for Mike he will be fine but I still want my coffee cup 😂
Hey Herm. Why’d you single out the “Kyles’ show” about getting their nascar licenses? 😂
BTW. Saw this morning KB won a dirt race yesterday I think. Flo racing posted his interview. Was actually nice to see him with a happy smile on his face for a change, from all his recent scowls. Be good!😊
I hope Kenny gets in and then takes them to school. 😎👍
Still holding that empty coffee cup ????
Keep it on your podcast . NASCAR will have to let him in
Hey buddy your dog is goin toward the highway🤣
It's cold in Colorado but not snowing yet they say wensday it's supposed to hit hear with 12 inches
Hey Kenny, wake up you doing what you doing y’all are both champions, yellow, both champions, champions, Peachtree, and Wallace
Hey Herm I got a question about the Nascar license is there any driving test or just the written an physical part I'd really appreciate if you can shed some light for me an Goodluck to Mike
Ima dumbazz, Roger Isbell I live in V.P. up by BigBend rd, we went to same church with yall too

Update on jughead please
You Go Mike at 65 I would if I could at 64 Make a believer out of the doubters
Herman! Does NASCAR check reaction times?😯
Providing he qualifies.
That damm eavestrough drain is still leaning out Herm
Sunoco needs to send Kenny a plastic mug. His hand is shaking with that ceramic one in his hand.
I have been in sales for 35 years, when I learned how to "eat shit" my sales went way up.
Tell you what Herman! Morgan Shepherd was out there racing for a long time! Mikey ul get r done! 🏁🇺🇸🏁🇺🇸🏁🇺🇸
Being healthy and physically fit to race are very different. Muscle reflex, the ability for a body to withstand hits, stamina, etc are scientifically proven to dramatically decrease with age. Blood work, ekg, and sight don’t prove much.
Doctor Jelly fingers to!
The gutter downspout is still crooked 😂

👍👍👍
You should help me get a spot for the Daytona 500 Kenny!
Go go go Mike .....
Kenny, I thought this video was supposed to be about your brother getting approved??? lol
Love that saying let's D-B.S. it. 👍
People being concerned about Mr. Mike shouldn’t be a story. The real story is will the car be good enough to get in considering the other open cars.
You currently have 6-8 projected cars for 4 spots
66 - Wallace
78 - McLeod
84 - Johnson
TBD - Truex Jr (maybe 23XI or Legacy)
TBD - 3rd Childress car (likely Hill)
62 - Beard entry (maybe Corey Lajoie)
31 - Possible 3rd Kaulig (maybe Christian Eckes)
TBD - most unlikely Spire/Hendrick entry for Rajah Caruth
No he's going to be driving a s*** box because that's all those cars are for mbm Motorsports Because they are too f****** cheap to get real sponsorship or quality drivers

I laugh,Herman always leaves the door open. To be a fly on the wall
Can you ride in a passenger seat with him
Enough with holding damn cup next to your face, and quit spinning in damn circles
Go, Mike Wallace. I'm not a big NASCAR fan, but, this is interesting. I'll stay out of the way and watch. Thank you, Kenny, for updating us on what's happening.
KENNY! Why does your house not have shutters on it?😂
You’re looking good, Herm!
Hey Wallace, get yur butt in a car too and make it two Wallaces in the 500!!! 🎉🚗🚗
Kenny was motor. P peach trees gotta go to remain at the come on Teresa help me out.
Twice a week I get my blood pressure checked, from donating plasma
No, it's the suspension. 😅
25 year auto tech here stuck working for Tesla in Ca. My father was a huge Rusty fan. If you need help please reach out I will work for free for Daytona. Please reach out
So it’s bad to have Mike drive, but it’s ok for these kids with $$ jump in?
Age has everything to do with with it and the kids as you call them have to run the lower series at Daytona or Talladega before can get approved. Svg had to run arca race last year to get approved for the Xfinity series race
Put, done stupid mug.

I don't care that there's a physical or not My issue is the age plan and simple And that needs to be an age limit
@johnhaas2523 your right, they should have an age limit, they should have to be at least 25 and have a concept of reality. Understand how to pass without running over people.
These boys are going to learn what it's like to run Mike at Daytona, and they won't like it. I'm calling it now

Opinions are like Assholes, everyone has one. Keep Given em' hell Herm!!
Dang gutter pipe.
Again, you may have raced 905 races in cup, how many did you win? 0
Mike has heart disease so how does that work with NASCAR?
Ken, I drove a tractor trailer for 24 years every two years you have to go in and get a physical, that being said, shouldn’t be an issue to get your NASCAR license
Getting your license is one thing but then like Mike's age getting approved to run the 500 is another compared to a short or a mile and a half
Congratulations on your brother Mike. Hopefully your power won't go out. I live in Florida so I know what it's like to run on a generator kenny.
They need to leave Mike alone he's a racer If he can still race let that man Race! I miss Rusty! but love all you guys.
No they don't need to leave a 65-year-old alone. If it was any track other than a superspeedway sure you would be 100% right leave them alone though a 65-year-old doesn't belong in the nascar top series anyway. Needs to be an age limit You get to be seen your citizen age your done in the cup series

Hopefully NASCAR does the right thing That he's too old
The ONLY reason why I’d look for the 500 is to root for Mike. Unfortunately, I just don’t watch racing anymore. I DO miss it but it’s just too different now.
Fake fan
Kenny please don’t cuss you didn’t do that earlier in your shows. I have always pulled for you and Mike. That’s the reason I don’t watch Dale Jr.
You don’t have have to explain nothing to anyone herm he’s running the 500 its no ones business he’s probably more aware than the young guys
He's going to attempt to 500 unless NASCAR gets ahead of ass And tell him he's too old
