I love the Character Mr. Cartright plays, Patient, kind, God-fearing, I love his family. Great principles to follow. Not to mention humble and hardworking, without prejudice.
I’ve heard that Lorne Green shaped his character after his own father. That seems right, as I doubt someone could totally fake that sort of heart/character without it being authentic in some degree. My favorite episodes are when the Cartwrights reflect on God’s Word. That beautiful quality would not be allowed on T.V. today.
@@krissyyoung9264 Its so sad how much media has degraded our society. I kind of watch sometimes how a show can change our culture. Like the Sopranos. This brought most of the profanity to our culture. And now its normal to hear conversations where f---k is used in every 2nd or 3rd sentence. When before there were many God centered shows. But God is still in charge!
If more people would have a dad like Mr. Cartwright I bet the world would be a better place But I do remember when a handshake meant more then a signed legal paper !! Anybody else notice Ben lay a kiss on Jennier right at the end of this episode ??????????
Yes that is so true. I was raised that way and still hold my word as a bond. I remember when my dad taught me to "Never trust a man that won't look you in the eye when he shakes your hand". OR. has a shake like a 4 year old. It WAS so true. Now if someone does not look at me I move my hand around so they have to look at me to find my hand. Still works a lot. You can see if it makes them nervous. I looked at your page and don't understand your Pic. with the Swasticas on the building. What does that mean? Blessings!

I`m a constitutionalist and can`t stand the Government overreach with masks mandates, shutting down of private business with no concern of the outcome. And the curfew mandates placed on "Free Citizens" It just reminded me of things I read about over in Nazi Germany.

*SOUND PROBLEM REMEDY* *I figured out a while back that when they upload videos with messed up sound, little sound or no sound like alot of the ones this person uploaded that if you use headphones or a separate speaker such as plugin speaker or bluetooth speaker that you'll be able to hear every thing normally. I don't know how or why it works, but that's actually how I watch these things and have sound.*
They are always asking people what they are doing on their land yet the Ponderosa according to the 9th episode ("Mr. Henry Comstock") in the first season was a thousand-square mile (640,000 acre or 2,600 km2) ranch on the shores of Lake Tahoe, nestled high in the Sierra Nevada, with a large ranch house in the center of it. That's pretty impossible to avoid going on when you're trying to go somewhere especially when horses were the method of transportation.
Clem made and was a far better sheriff than Roy Coffee wish Clem could have taken Roys' place guy who dropped by Ben house in black looking for trouble to cause on young guy
