I think that Sonic , Tails and Amy should be adults in the next game . I am tired of Sega's bullshit of not leting their characters age . I really hate the "ageless character" trope , it's so fucking stupid . And I have fixed Sonic's aging in the games by making Sonic 14 years old the first time he met Robotnik and then 6 years later the events of Sonic Mania happen , 9 years later and the events of Sonic Adventure 1 happen .

Maybe Tails finds out his ancestors once belonged to a kitsune tribe, and Knuckles goes to find more of his kind hidden away from the world, Amy finds her biological parents, Cream and cheese become freedom fighters and form a new Team, and Sonic...Maybe he can no longer hide his feelings for Amy and finally tells her how he feels and stays by her side adventuring together! I mean a lot can happen in 10 years!
