There are some big Lore mistakes, like mortarion, who actually escaped whit, who would eventually become tyhpus the traveler and as he was a noble son of one the toxic tyrants ruling barbarous, those werent aliens either.
Eh, besides the point but I'll argue that the Lords of Barbarous were so far removed from humanity in terms of physiology (adapting to their toxic world) and sociology (being an overall reprehensible lot) that they might as well be Xenos for all it matters.

Biggest narative omission is leaving out typhuses part in early story, considering his later importance in mortarion and death guard story, tho video makes lesser omissions on most primarch stories.
I don't think the lost Primarchs were expunged out of shame. Considering Horus is a swear word today, the fact that they were forgotten indicates to me, they were deleted to *preserve* their honour. Personally, I think they are either still on a mission which was never elaborated on, or they got up to some Cthulu business during the Rangda Xenocides and their fall was more Cosmic Horror in nature and not to do with Chaos. Or, I'm still developing this theory, they were the girl Primarchs and based off Erda and/or Astartes but struck from the records because you saw how bad things got with Femstodes imagine Femstartes (even though the Astartes are named after the woman who created them)
