Task was fully approved by Aberdeen International Airport, NATS - Air Traffic Control and undertaken early in the morning before the airport opened as part of the risk assessment and operating procedure issued by NATS.
The work was carried out airside, with UAV pilot with full Airside ID with the Airport Compliance Manager in attendance as the radio operator and observer.
Cabro Aviation also work with a number of commercial drone operators around airports by supplying qualified radio operators to liaise with Air Traffic Control services during drone tasks.
