    A few things I forgot to mention, Ranged are very limited on bastion skills/support skills that actually work, mostly very slow on the field with the exception of Margaret Cordoba and even then can be caught by cav marches!

    I agree with everything Mr. Seige has said. Lilith needs to be very cautious with all the complaints as this is a huge potential customer service problem for their games. Nerfing and entire troop type after the fact would cause everyone to wonder why they might Invest their entertainment free cash into a game or company that will potentially rob them of their collection.
    I personally am 10 months into investing into 6 legendary Engineering commanders with three sets of equipment and armaments. I've been all in for almost an entire year. I've spent a lot of money.
    If Lilith does this to Seige, then what's to stop them from nerfing a major investment in Smite or Combo?
    Either leave Seige as is or reimburse us all, at the very least 100% of our total investments. Gold heads, experience tomes, gold stars, armaments, legendary materials, prints etc. etc.
    Frankly, I'm growing weary of all the whining and complaining. It's a WAR game. Put on your big boy pants and charge the towers. But we all know that the murderball only crowd is terrified of bad reports. Hit and run is all they know....😂

      ​@@MrSiegeOfficial I agree. I think all these people are just complaining because they just don't like siege. but they just don't know about what it costs to run one. You're point on using another siege march to hit another siege march is a great idea and it's a war game so i don't know how seige is overpowered. something overpowered is arthur, combo attacks are awesome, but i dont see anybody complaining about it, but seige??

    Well, the game definitely needs some battle mechanics optimization. I've noticed a lot of mistakes and unbalanced elements. If you've played Total War: Rome 2, you’ll know that each unit has a specific role, including siege units.
    Historically, sieges were slow, took time to set up, had lower accuracy, and required time to reload and fire. If they really want to balance the game, they should implement these mechanics.
    But not all units in RoK are balanced. Right now, cavalry counters infantry, which doesn’t make much sense. Cavalry can counter infantry, but usually with shock cavalry-that’s why spear infantry and pikes exist to stop them. This game isn’t really about strategy; it’s more about spamming high skill damage.
    At the end of the day, there’s no real issue with siege units. The problem is that they've introduced a new type of machines that people just aren’t used to. Players have gotten too comfortable with the same repetitive gameplay-just moving back and forth, where resources, speed-ups, and equipment matter more than actual strategy or tactics.
    Now, they’re frustrated with siege because it introduces a new mechanic, and they don’t want to think of counters. They’re just stuck in their old ways, relying on simple back-and-forth movements and skill spamming.
    I do believe they should introduce new machines with proper counter strategies, and all units should be balanced historically.

    I like the strategic options that siege has introduced! Trying to get my first siege march in my main account, hopefully they don't nerf it. I used it in one of my accounts and really enjoyed it.

    Very refreshing to hear your take on this information. As someone who runs both field and ranged at the same time, it hurts me to hear so many non ranged you tubers make misinformed statements. Ranged gameplay is way harder to excel at than people realize. They need to play them to realize how much we sacrifice to get the results.

    In the real story, sieges are for attacking cities, archers shoot from a distance, cavalry speed, infantry much more tank, but Lilith has modified

    Great video, I don’t see any siege players talking about how easy it can be to transition into siege nowadays.
    I think having a leadership set, Philip, and a desirable siege primary is the easiest way to get into siege. Philip and leadership set being so versatile for melee troops AND working for siege seems amazing in my eyes

    Siege is an awesome thing in this game. It adds another level of depth to group combat. If i set up siege at alter i get some nice kp. But thats why its good. Certain situations they shine

    I was hoping John and Steve were going to be more of a supportive pair, but they don't offer any considerable buffs or debuffs and definitely they are a step back from the last ranged release.
    I think we would really benefit from a full support pair. Add some AoE healing and buffs to help our murderball and people will stop complaining.

    Tbf i was all hyped for siege, I tried it last kvk but they are only good at stalemate situation and maybe altar and how often do we even get those ideal scenario. They can't do offensive, can't chase, can't defend an incoming slaughter.. totally situational march.

    I just wish from the start that archers had this range ability and siege were for attacking cities and garrisons

    Im fully with you mr siege what do you guys think of making it more depending on your gear how good you siege march is
    I mean thats a really really big commitment that a true siege player has to make and it takes forever like you said so maybe lillith could make it that siege is only good if you go all in on your siege an forge all the very expensive thinks to actually get good results, that way all the other afk siege parking annoing player couldnt mess up our standing

    Thank you for all the information. I am currently making a ranged march with my alternate account. I think the defense you are making is for the wrong argument. I believe everything you've said is correct but the big change is not in the one to one exchange in battle. It is the tactic of a group of ranged marches positioned well being protected by kingdom ball. I saw it for myself last kvk. It gives the side with the ranged marches a huge advantage. It doesn't even have to be a great amount as long as it is a few more then the opposing side. I'm not saying this is a bad thing or that individually it's broken. I think now is the starting point of ranged attack and some kingdoms weren't ready for it. My kingdom wasn't ready for it and it did make a huge difference. I was one of the accounts that was targeted so I learned the hard way. I could see my marches being sad faced much faster when I was engaged in ball and the ranged marches targeted me. Hence the reason for starting a ranged march on my alternate account. I'm betting the complaints were from players that had experiences like I had. One way to deal with it is complain to lilith. I chose to make a ranged march of my own. I think that as more players add ranged march to their arsenal, it will change the game. How it will change the game, we will have to wait and see.

    the main problem is there alots of Videos on youtube where they show they results, but people dont understand how those results are made. There made in specific place/time fight on the map. Than people they dont like Range because they are very frendly for a Free to play players. Finally low spenders and F2P players can be useful in this game by runing 1 march or 2.
    They complain because they dont want to update on new type of fight and they just want to play simple fight
    If they nerf our Range`s im out of this game for ever !!!

And as you said dude to counter siege it's okay if they make counters commanders, but they need to have other siege players to fight between us.

      I only stuck around because I got a siege march and it added fun back in the game.
      It also allowed new players and f2p a way to help their kingdom. My first 2 years of playing as a low spender seemed like a waste of time. My marches sucked and my trades were always negative unless I was farm killing.
      If people want to counter siege, its easy, build engineering marches and shoot the marches shooting your marches.

    i run one siege march and I have not seen a perfect scenario yet. I'm not stop building and unbuilding to get closer or run away its not easy being a siege main at all. I am still fairly new to siege but I really enjoy the play. I also get annoyed by going in and out as a ball but I have gotten crushed when my ball collapses and I'm stuck out of position. I also have a maxed Arthur but still choose to do the ranged. I definitely don't think siege is over powered I think we are a little disadvantage with the building time. I like it cause i feel like I am busy in a fight. I can get a ton of kills with my Joan and Arthur experienced but its boring to me. Siege are fine the way they are if anything I wish their build and unbuild time was a little less.

      Same here. Moving back and forth, goin in and out of ball is boring. And its more suitable for pc players. For mobile device, siege is better imo. Field player who use a pc knows this advantage, and they don't want to lose some easy prey.

    To be honest, i fully invested in a siege march because i needed kp to make my account look nicer and caught up.
    Having them “balance” it would probably mean I’ll have to focus on my siege while running three march’s consecutively which i didnt aim for. If my siege is just trading 3:1 -1:1 what’s the point in paying attention to it other then 3 marches.
    Also all my legendary gear would overtime have less usage if siege is going down and down with every release. For example last release made that pair good but only with microing it also they’re dmg was lower. Most who got one siege march didnt need to update to the newest ones because they simply were less powerful why would it make sense to continue with that if we wont change our best for the newest mid one? If that continues then siege as a WHOLE troop type will be out of the meta and will have less dmg and relevancy.
    (No i am not saying make it OP, just make it make sense)

    this is what im saying to my current kingdom, they want all governors to delete t4-t5 sieges, instead of having them in their kingdom. of course melee will have a hard time killing the range . then use a range too to kill the range siege lol

    Lilith isn’t going to nerf our siege marches, I’m sure. They are only going to be powercrept down the line, which I’m fine with because that has been Lilith’s thing ever since. I still remember Attila/Takeda rally and Zenobia garrisons were too OP. They never really got any nerf themselves. They were just powercrept by newer commanders.

    tbh siege has the most drawbacks of all unittyps - the only thing siege has that can be good for you is the playstyle
    but the playstyle isnt for everybody so thats ok
    but siege are laking garrisons, they just flat out cant rally at all, they cant cheeseburger and they have a penalty with setup times to even fight
    yes siege can get good trades but a joan prime + arthur march will get better trades then any siege player ever could in a naltar fight unless the siege player has double or tripple the time to attack

      @@TooNice2BeMe we will just ignore your facts here, we want to play same type of game and never progress or invent anything else. We dont like siege uniting in ROK. Not even Engineer commanders.
      We will complain for ever. There is 10047637383 TH-cams who are worshiping other type of units we will ignore them all. Let's just focus on Mr.Siege who play this game so long and play with only 2 march and complain.
      We dont want to bring our own Siege March or siege player in our KD to fight other towers either

    My first kvk now when i started to use range march. Fighting with 4 normal ones and 1 range. They're fun... Don't take dmg if you play them smart(only counter). Situations where they shine are kinda limited cose setting tower on/off takes a while and fights in rok aren't rly in one position. Ppl complain cose most of them don't understand this game😂... Its not about stats here. My 4 normal marches doing more kp/h but also take more dmg so hospital cost is higher. Simply - Range playstyle is different. Performance isn't, only looks like it... If you use simple math for it - dmg per hour/hospital cost you will find out they're a march like any other...

    Siege isnt broken… it takes a lot of time to get a decent amount of kills. Ranged damage is a lot lower than normal troops. In a standard fight, which is going back and forth, it takes sooooo much time to adjust my tower. Either, the fight comes my way and i can’t move fast enough and get swarmed or the fight moves away from me, i have to take down my tower (7-8 seconds) move forward, build tower again (7-8 seconds) hoping the fight is still in my range.

    I dont play a ranged march. I just like the field fighting. I do see the value and place for it. But the more people that do ranged the less people in the ball fighting. I think this is what they wany to stay away from. It wont be a problem if they dont over power the commanders to much. Imo

    So, I’m in my very first KVK with a siege march. I’m running epic and blue equipment with some gold accessories off my infantry army. I don’t think people realize that Siege is a little harder to play than a melee march….especially trying to get into a good position with your tower. Because if that ball moves towards you a bit too quick…chef’s kiss, because you’re cooked. There’s a lot of downsides to running a siege march and that’s what gives it balance. These players that are complaining are complaining because they don’t have a siege march and they’re salty. We shouldn’t get a nerf on a unit that’s already nerfed heavily…

    The majority of players are non-siege players. Non-siege players don't like being hit by something they can't hit back therefor the majority of players will not like siege marches and that will be an issue for years until people forget the time before siege. For players who have been in game for years making the conversion into siege is a massive investment for a play stile they may or may not like. And they would obviously prefer to not have to make that investment when they were already happy with the combat they were playing for years.

    Not true in higher seeds, we continously have situations where siege marches can just sit in the back and farm kills. None of these guys need half a hour to get these reports. And it's also not true that any of the kingdoms we are facing or our own is behind in investing in siege. It gets worse from kvk to kvk. You go to the front and immediately get wrecked by all the towers. And you can't counter them at all with your melee marches. No one says they should be nerfed in a way to just make them weak or useless, but other (melee marches) need a way to counter them.

    You are talking about two different types of balance. 1 cost of march. 2 type of play.
    Ill focus on 2 the point not as covered in the type of play. For this communication, we are not talking about any sort of investment of cost or the ability for the player to gain KP. The choices of kingdoms depend greatly as to the size of the battle. The smaller the battle the easier it is to counterplay. Siege. In very large battles, there is no hope to easily reach any of those towers. The counterplay would be either flanking, creating a rally to a barbarian port near there and then breaking and killing a range march, or trying to run through it.
    If you flank, you will almost always going to die quickly because people after the first time will hide in cities and just kill you.
    If you try and run through the ball, you will just plain die.
    If you try and rally, you might get through, or you might get swarmed down. It's a 50-50 shot.

      To be clear, I have my own siege march and enjoy the gameplay. Given those constraints, the ability to counter siege is diminished greatly. They also don't understand how little you actually hit them.

      to be a siege player means you need a strong front lane. You are left in the hand of your team fight. They go afk or they just sell you and let you, you going to get wipe off easy

    short answer, siege is currently OP no question. All of the points about siege not being able to garrison, rally and do events are irrelevant, this is not about players who go full siege. ROK was never a game where players should specialize in a single unit, it is based on a scissors paper stone logic where everything is countered by something else. Siege used to be useless because everything counters it, now its countered by nothing.
    They can keep range mechanic but introduce something that does huge counterattack to range damage, or a range counterskill. Smth that punishes only range but weaker to field marches. Basically introduce an option to counter or limit siege (only can send out one siege at any time) and we're good.

    Listen to all the criers... I drink their tears. Siege existed during these wars so FO they belong here. Your right about kingdoms shooting themselves in the foot by forcing their own kingdom to ignore engineers and delete siege... that's just poor leadership, F THEM!!
    IMO, the ranged attack should hit as hard as the melee and the melee should be as weak as the ranged... flip it! On a real battle field, that's what would happen. Or keep the ranged damage as is but it debuffs the enemy with "Confusion" and "Panic" and that helps your kingdom mates. Range should also be able to shoot at and over the Passes. Ranged should be able to hit the rallies on the other side and towers should be able to weaken the Pass defense. So sick and tired of Pass fights that last hours on end when ranged could make them quick and keep open field fighting viable.
    They should also be able to attack rss nodes while in tower... like WTF?! They should be able to set up towers and hit flags, forts, cities and strongholds... that was their designed purpose irl ffs! They'd force those inside to come out and fight in the open field. Rallies and garrison only help the whales and its boring af! Siege, if done right, can make more open field battles for all level of spenders to participate in.

    i invested many gems 200000+for blue prints is not EZ to find like other troop. too many ppl no invest Siege for this reason yeah i have good report cuz i have good gear but not all the time for good report if you bad position you get swarm

    Great thoughts. I agree that most of the people complaining about ranged marches are not playing ranged marches. They just don't like change and want ROK to remain unchanged. Plus, they ignore history , where ranged warfare is legit and powerful. Warfare has always had ranged combat and ROK claims to be rooted in history... so please keep it, and don't nerf it. People will adapt, as life is about adaptation.

      @@erickyler6073 I mean yeh I don’t see anyone that runs a ranged march complain about them being too good haha but I’ve heard many wanting no setup time and dismantling of towers which would be too unfair, some calling for a bigger range etc, these simply would make ranged too broken

      @MrSiegeOfficial yes, more mobile ranged marches would be awesome, but mobility is the advantage for calvary, not seiged. However, to be a bit tongue in cheek, let us not forget Gengis Khan and his horse archers. Wouldn't that be grand. Way too OP, but a wonderful little Dat dream, lol.

    Siege is not overpowered at all,at first you need real good equipent and full xpertised march to get good results. In KVK there are so many super fast marches you need to be very very aware not to get killed in an instant by cav players. If Lilith nerfs siege commanders its time to quit the game.

    Yes, Chis forgot that if the ball threatens the tower it takes a minimum 15+ seconds of no attacking!! Like F OFF its just "free dps ALL the time" crap. Relatively small active skill and sucky rage, and its such a late investment.
    To all these babies and their "play the game the way I do so I know I can win" I got just 2 words for ya... SUCK IT!

      @@MrSiegeOfficial Yeah, Chis, Omni, Chadski, Archer, etc. they all need to try one siege march on their 2nd city just so they can improve their YT content... not doing so only belittles their content and their audiences.

    If they nerf Range any more I’ll quit the game. Whiny Cav, Inf & Arch mains need to grow a pair. Where’s our special units? Where’s our Legendary City skin? Where are the other march King’s skill debuff? We are under-represented in the game, not privileged.

    im all for siege and is looking to invest into my second march, but come on who are we trying to fool here? Siege is super OP at the moment and that is just a fact. you yourself are part to blame mr siege, from the get go of this channel it was all about massive reports with 700-1000% KP. After two kvks with ranged commanders i know its not true all the time and that Siege really has its places where it shines and others where it sucks but its no denying its OP. Heck i got 2 million kills during an altar fight where i first hanged laundry then drove to the grocery store and did the shopping áll while my gajah/cordoba was firing away behind the ball

      for sure you get an altar where the ball isnt moving and you can fire away but for each of those altars is one fight just totaly 180 to that and your alliance gets whiped of the map and you get nothing
      siege isnt stronger then normal field troops, they are just easyer to play if you are distracted with children/ work because you dont have to be in the middle of the ball

      Ranged marches are a product of the meta changing to a hit and run tactic. Everyone is afforded the same opportunity to pick up a ranged march and if they choose not to that’s on them. Look at how those instant proc commanders popped off with the likes of Arthur and Liu Che. It basically makes commanders like Nevsky irrelevant but you don’t hear anyone complaining about them… besides siege units don’t get an advantage vs any troop type and they are doing half damage. Yea they can get their kills but that’s only if the enemy straight up ignores them or it is a very even fight and in those situations maybe the enemy decided to forgo a siege march for an extra melee march on the field.

      Newer seige player. I have two accounts I run side by side with 2 & 3 ranged marches. When losing a KVk fight Seige stink. When winning a fight they are great. When it’s even they are fair, and not overpowered. We really need ranged archers….. they are archers……. They shoot arrows……

    I think they should just make other troop types more tanky than they currently are. Currently almost all meta commanders focus on DPS and firepower. If we get more tanky commanders, they will be able to take some hits of siege towers but in return, if they try pushing in to take those towers out they won't deal much damage either and be dealt with quickly. It would also help with making the battlefield less short-lived and letting us have more fun fighting with the same amount of rss and speeds.

      @vmgg161 a lot of the infantry marches are already very tanky and a decent opponent won’t actually take too much damage from siege towers

      @MrSiegeOfficial I think they still take decent damage from other marches, i have often seen people trying to push on siege marches getting destroyed before even reaching them... I think it would be better making them more tanky for people to be less worried about being attacked instead of purposely destroying the siege niche by nerfing it. But i am not a game developer, so i think there might be better ways, especially since it might feel too slow with that "tanky" field fighting

    Seige should be the most powerful when it comes to attacking cities,. this game is crap,. archers should be the range one, then seige should be the most powerful in sieging cties

    Hilarious, your channel has been non stop, “siege are amazing, siege are great!”
    Now, “siege are ok in certain situations, but not great”
    All the people complaining have never used siege. I still think they should reduce power output a little and buff/debuff field marches.

      No they are amazing in the right situations just like cheeseburger marches, but they aren’t great for everything like every siege TH-camr agrees, I’ve made videos on this in the past
