I respect Jordan for evolving the game ,but Kobe made the game competitive just with his mentality for the ppl that actually saw Jordan play .Kobe da Goat
Danny Ainge said that Bird calculated exactly how many balls it would take to win, then set it up to win it on the final shot. The dude was all about drama - getting your hopes up only to crush them.
Whats with the announcers during the Kobe vs MWP clip. "They need to knock it off", "I cant believe the refs are allowing them to continue". Seeing a really good defender and an elite offensive (and defensive) player talking sh#t to each other is such an entertaining part of the game. The announcers should be embarrassed for acting like mothers of 10 year old boys. "Stop talking to each other like that or you're going to be grounded"..."If you dont stop that I will get your father and he will deal with this". Same for the Peirce - Harrington clip where the ref tells them to shut up. Just let them play! That was such an iconic moment in NBA and for Paul Peirce. If it was up to the Lakers/Rockets announcers (and the ref of the Celts/Pacers game), we would've never had that amazing moment to look back at 15 years later.
No disrespect to Larry Legend, but their 3-point shootout output is way lower than what we have now. We just got to accept the fact that the NBA nowadays is a 3-point shooting league.
Should've included Michael Jordan abusing Gerald Wilkins in the '93 playoffs. It's the game where he said straight up "He can't guard me. He can't guard me."
kobe and jordan were not cocky they knew what they could do it was supreme confidence some people dont understand they act arrogant after making some shots cough cough memphis the last 2 years lol
14:27 "we were like brothers" After this for me there would be no more "we're like brothers"...no matter if we play in the same team...this was a cheap dirty shot...
@@Youtzushka cheap? No. a little dirty? Maybe. Effective? Yes. Setting the tone, letting them know that you are there to play hard and get into their head, you run through a screen line that and they think twice about setting another one, or get nervous feet and blocking call.
Idk shit about basketball, but I found this gravitating to watch, can someone explain to me what happened when LeBron's pass hit his teammate's foot and the call, and what happened with him again at around 8:43?
So, when the ball goes out of bounds, whichever team touched it last doesn't get the ball. When Lebron threw the pass, it bounced off of his teammate Russel Westbrook's foot and went out of bounds, so the Bulls should've gotten the ball. However, Lebron thought it bounced off of Lonzo Ball's foot, an opposing player, and complained to the refs. I guess the refs just went with Lebron's judgement and didn't review the play, so the Lakers got the ball when the ball should've went to the Bulls. The clip at the 8:43 mark, Lebron is closing in on an opposing player shooting, however instead of contesting it he just ran away like he knew the guy would miss. It doesn't always work, but sometimes acting as if the shooter won't hit their shot gets in the shooter's head and will make them miss. It's also kinda like a disrespect thing, almost as if Lebron is saying, "I don't care if you shoot, I don't need to contest cus you're gonna miss it anyways," it doesn't always work but it can
@@leo_wentzel Thank you :). And when you say contesting, do you mean guarding? Like, when the game continues and a player has the ball, the opposer guards them; LeBron didn't think he'd make the shot, so he didn't bother guarding him- is it like in soccer for when they throw the ball back in over their head? (I feel like when there's people like me who doesn't know something and they ask, others may get annoyed, but I feel like some actually like explaining something to someone something that they have an interest in.)

Faking an injury how down bad are you for a bucket???😂
Bro why is Steph trash talking the lakers in Boston 💀
12:22 Who the F is "Kieran"? He said Caron, as in Caron Butler.
No lbj talking to arenas while he was shooting free throws? Come on
If you see a different angle of it, the ball is no where near koby’s face, so it’s pretty obvious why he didn’t flinch
The Ben Simmons 3 wasn’t a bad shot tho, he really should do that more
